Signed up for Firefox Sync but haven't received verification email

I'm returning to Firefox after becoming thoroughly frustrated with Google Chrome. I logged into the last version of Firefox i had used (Nightly 29), synced my old stuff to the most recent version of Nightly (37a1), unlinked that device from the old Sync, restarted Firefox, created a New Sync login with my email address ([email protected]), and waited for the verification email. None received. Reequested that i be resent three times. Still nothing. No emails from Mozilla/Firefox in junk email or Office 365 spam filter for my domain.
I see others have experienced issues with creating a new Sync account as well. Please advise how I can resolve this issue and return to Firefox on all my devices asap!

Have you tried to request a verification email again recently?
Just checked in with the Firefox Accounts team and they did say there were some email failures recently - but should be working now.

    I have been trying to sign-up for Firefox sync but every time I start to enter a valid email address I get an error message saying it is an "invalid email address". The error will pop-up as soon as I start to enter the first character. I wasn't even able to get to the @ symbol before the error displayed.
    Also, tried various different emails but same problem.
    Could not find anyone else having this problem, is it just me?

    Strange I thought I had tried that a couple of times and the NEXT button stayed grayed out.
    But I did get past it and set-up the Sync.

  • Haven't received verification email for iCloud

    My email for iCloud still says verifying. But I haven't received an email yet either.

    Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account.  Also make sure you check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox.  If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.  More details here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5404.

    There is no serial number. The software is activated via your Adobe ID.
    Sign in to creative.adobe.com with your Adobe ID, download the Cloud desktop app then download the software.

    Years and years ago I first started with firefox sync. I have no idea what the password is. Nor do I remember the email address I was using at the time. I now have a new computer and can't set up the firefox sync. I can not be the only person to have had this problem.

    Unless you remember your "Username" (Not Email) then the only option I'm aware of is to Create a new account

    The whole point of Firefox Sync is to save/access data between different devices - Your Username should be listed on one of your Devices, unless you just happen to replace all of them at the same time.
    If you could gain access to an account w/ atleast knowing the Username/Email Address/Password then what would be the point of "Security"
    Thats why [http://www.steganos.com/us/products/for-free/locknote/overview/ LockNote] is handy to jot down account notes and secure it w/ a password... stick it on a thumbdrive.

  • Create ID - but didn't receive verification email

    Yesterday i created a new Adobe ID for a new folio and content viewer (in accordance with best practice guidelines). No problem but I didn't receive the verification email. I've waited 24 hours and it still hasn't turned up. So I tried to log in and hit the forgot my password button and asked for a password reset email, and it hasn't turned up.
    I've tested the email address from other services and it receives emails fine.
    I thought that perhaps I hadn't setup the Adobe ID so tried to set it up again and it says it already exists.
    Is there a way to get a new verification email?  (the FAQs and Help tell me to login and change it, but of course i don't have a password as it is not verified).
    Anyone help?

  • I signed up for a paid account for iBooks. But haven't received account confirmation.  It's been about 2 weeks.  Any way to check the status or resubmit it?

    I've completed the application for a paid iBooks seller acct.  Did it before Christmas, but have not yet received the confirmation email.  nothing in my spam forlder, either.  Is there any way to check the status, or to resubmit the application?  Where can I go to try and sign in?  And where can I download the Producer software?

    Create a test book in iBooks Author, then use the File/Publish menu and see if you can login there.
    If you still can't login with the new account info, you may want to contact Apple directly...

  • Charged for Student Spotify but Haven't received Premium service.

    I tried to get Premium with the student discount but couldn't since I couldn't be found in the college's system. This made sense to me since I haven't registered for classes or started attending, however I recieved a charge for $4.99 from Spotify but have yet to recieve any Premium perks and my account is still labeled as "Free." I already tried logging out and back in as well as reinstalling the app in both my phone and my laptop.

    Hi there! I recommend reaching out directly to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Page or through the online contact form.
    Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
    Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
    If the device is wiped by you or another, you may not be able to locate the device (although some have reported they can)

    First check that you still have data in your sync account.
    Firefox button > Options > Sync > Manage Account
    It should tell you how much data is stored in the account. Is there any?
    If there is still data in the sync account then you can follow the instructions in this article [[What is Firefox Sync?]]. Refer to the 'How much of my data is synced?' section. Change the option to 'Replace all data on this computer with my Sync data'.
    I hope that works for you.
    If there is no data in your sync account you will be able to get it back by syncing from another computer. Just make sure that the settings on that computer are not replaced by the blank account again. You can use the 'Replace all other devices with this computer's data' option to prevent this.
    Please note that Firefox Sync is designed only to sync details between devices not as an online backup tool. If you are formatting a partition it is generally best to backup your profile folder along with any other data. See [[Managing profiles]] for more detail.
