Signing in to Adobe ID causes endless progress bar

When I enter my username and password for Adobe ID in Photoshop Elements 10, it just runs the progress bar forever. I have to force close the application to get out of it. Is there a solution to this problem? All of my applications are up to date.

You just need to bypass the welcome screen entirely. Go into the program files/program files(x86) or the applications folder on a mac and make direct shortcut(s)/dock icon(s) for the editor and/or organizer .exe/application file(s) and use those to start the program instead. If on a mac note that the actual editor is hidden away in the support files folder.

Formatting Nano leads to endless progress bar...freeze!

Dear all,
I spent all Monday to search through the forums about this issue and it is so frustrating.
The Nano freezes during formating upon initial installation.
I have tried everything: reseting the iPod, unistalling the device through the hardware managaer, deleting the temp drive and everything else that needs to be updated.
Please, anyone who has fixed this please let me know as I have tried everytihng that has been posted and suggested through support.

So, do you mean that when trying to install the CD, it isn't restoring?
If so you might have to download all the stuff from the website:

I cannot sign in to ITunes through Windows, the progress bar just sticks on 'accessing iTunes store' any one any ideas what is wrong?

Progress bar to update as script runs

Hi, I'd like to have a progress bar being displayed as my script runs. I created a simple progress bar as follows:

Now, if I target the ExtendScript Toolkit, I can see the "animation" of the bar progressing. But If I target illustrator, I only see when it's at 0% and then it jump to 100%. Is there a way to update the information visually as the script progresses?

The password prompt is supplied by the operating system, and is intended to protect you from accidentally installing software. You will get this prompt for any installation outside the App Store context.
If you do not need to enter a username or password when starting your computer, you can probably just leave the password field blank when acknowledging this prompt.

Adobe pdf printer save dialog box opens in the background - progress bar shows Not Responding

I have two users who have Acrobat X Pro version 10.1.4 that are experiencing the same things. First, one person just changed laptops and the new one has a fresh Windows 7 Enterprise X64 image and new installation of Adobe Acrobat X Pro. When he used the pdf printer for the first time(after opening the program and accepting the license agreement) he was in MS Excel '07 and chose file>print>Adobe PDF and then the progress bar came up and then showed not responding. After he did this a couple of times with me standing there I noticed that the save dialog box was opening in the background because I could see the icon blinking on the taskbar. He said that his old computer never did this and that it would always open up and ask where to save the file and never show 'not responding' on the progress bar. The other person having the same issue is running the same version but she has had the program installed on her machine for a few months and an older version on before that.
Is there a way to make the dialog box show as soon as you print to the Adobe PDF printer? What is causing this? Is there another way to create a pdf from MS Office like the add-on?

Can't sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud

Two days ago I received notification via the Creative Cloud that some apps were ready to update.
On opening the updater I was asked to login, despite having entered my credentials previously which should have been saved. On entering my credentials again I immediately got logged out with message "You've been signed out".
Thinking that Adobe might have force reset user passwords post Heartbleed patching (http://heartbleed.com/) but not sent users a notification email, I then followed the link to the Account/Password FAQ (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/account-password-sign-faq.html). I then requested a password reset, followed the link from the automated email and created a new password.
The new password works on the Forums but I am still not able to log into Adobe Creative Cloud. I still get logged out immediately with the message "You've been signed out".
Adobe's management of user accounts/passwords is historially woeful so it's understandable that users are seriously concerned about this latest issue.
Can you please advise:
* Has Adobe been affected by the Heartbleed bug?
* If yes, have you patched your OpenSSL, acquired new certificates, generated and deployed new SSL keys, and revoked old keys and certs?
* When do you expect the Creative Cloud login bug to be resolved?

I've checked your account. I see that you just purchased the subscription this morning. The order is still pending processing, which is why you haven't yet been able to log in an use your subscription. It can take 24-48 hours for a subscription to process fully. Once it does, you'll be able to log in and convert files.

In order to convert to PDF, you need to either purchase PDF Pack (Reliably Create PDFs, Convert PDFs, & Merge PDFs Online | Adobe PDF Pack) or Adobe Acrobat XI (PDF creator, create PDF | Adobe Acrobat XI).
