Signing in to use trial of cs6

I am having problems signing in to a trial version of cs6.  It has all downloaded fine but when I open the trial version it comes up with a box asking for me to sign in with my Adobe ID.  I click on the sign in button and after a while it comes up with a box saying I am not connected to the internet or my clock settings are wrong.  But  I am connected and my clock is right!  Any hints on how to fix this??

Hi Vikrant,
I will try this.  The other thing I was thinking it could be is that when I set up my user profile I mistakenly left the country as USA.  If the trial software compares this with my computer dates and times it will be incorrect.  I am from NZ which is obviously a different time zone etc, so this could be confusing things.

    Have you purchased the CS6 with a perpetual license? Or do you have a Creative Cloud subscription?
    If you had the former, you'd have a serial number. If the latter, you'd use your Adobe ID to login to your subscription.

  • Started creating a web site using iWeb, signed up for MobileMe trial, now iWeb won't work?

    So I started playing around with iWeb and created a web site for my portfolio. I then signed up for a trial of the MobileMe. After I went through the whole setup process for MobileMe...setting up on my iPod Touch, then on my iMac, then syncing all the apps...I back to iWeb to publish my web site to my newly created MobileMe account. Only iWeb was unresponsive. I tried to restart the application. I get as far as the welcome screen with the "Getting Started Video", but there is no iWeb window open behind that. I tried to restart my machine...nothing!
    Now I have this MobileMe trial that is ticking away and I can't even use it. Please help, thanks.

    Update. After a conversation with Marlon at Apple Support, we have it resolved. As soon as I mentioned that iWeb would launch properly on other profiles, we figured out that it has to be a preference problem. I should have known better, its one of the first things to check. But, I've been away from macs for a little bit, so I'm a little rusty in the troubleshooting dept.
    To trash iWeb preferences:
    1) Quit iWeb
    2) Navigate to:
    User Directory --> Library --> Preferences  --> com.apple.iWeb.plist
    3) Take this file and drag it to your desktop
    4) Relaunch iWeb
    5) If everything works as it should, you can take the preference file you dragged to your desktop and move it to      the recycle bin.
    Somewhere in the MobileMe registration and setup process the preferences for iWeb froze up. Trashing the iWeb preferences fixed the problem.

  • I Have a Subscription, CC Keeps Asking me to Sign Up, Use Trial

    I have a subscription, it's paid up, I have the receipts, when I launch DW CC or PS CC, it asks me to sign in, which I do and then it asks if I want to subscribe. I had to accept a trial just to work the last couple of days, but I need this resolved. I haven't had any problems up until now.....hope this one doesn't turn into a big one. Anyone else have this happen?

    Hi!
    I can tell you I had the very same problem. I got it fixed, though!
    Here's what I did.
    1. Uninstall EVERYTHING by Adobe! .
    2. Restart the PC
    3. Run the Adobe Cleaner Tool as administrator and follow the steps it tells you. Uninstall all. http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
    4. Restart the PC
    5. Delete the following folders by hand:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe;
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe;
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe;
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe;
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe;
    C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe;
    C:\Users\username\App Data\Roaming\Adobe;
    C:\Users\Public\Roaming\Adobe
    6. (Win+R / Execute --> regedit --> Enter):
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe
    Save a copy of both and delete the ons in the registry.
    7. Start CCleaner and delete all errors in the registry. It's the second icon in the program. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
    8. Delete the domains in your hosts file from Adobe
    9. Restart PC and start the installation of Creative Cloud
    This helped me. I really had to get rid of everything by Adobe, after that it doesn't ask me to license it or use trial version. It works!

    Frustration with this app that it is so difficult to use. I loved MS Image Composer 1.5!

    If you disabled GPU drawing in Photoshop, the problem should go away (because the bug is in the OS GPU code).

  • I can't use my licensed CS6 after CC free trial.

    I can't use my licensed CS6 after CC free trial. Why and how do I get back to using my CS6?
    Thanks.

    I launched from the actual applications icon but the Photoshop extended trial requires me to license to software or it kicks me off. There are no other buttons available.
    Any thoughts?

  • I've bought a student plan but every time I open currently downloaded programms I see an automatically opened window that says I'm using trial version and still have several days to use it. How can I change it?

    I've bought a student plan but every time I open currently downloaded programms I see an automatically opened window that says I'm using trial version and still have several days to use it. How can I change it? It makes me nervous , as it demands serial number, but e-mail i've got from Adobe doesn't contain any serial number or invitation or something like that.

    Vetscheriascha to validate the software you will want to resolve the connection error between the computer and our activation server.  Please see Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html for information on how to resolve the connection error.

  • Unable to use trial version of inDesign

    I just signed up to use the trial version of inDesign, with a new adobe id.  It tells me i'm maxed out on the subscription and to use another id.  This is a new id, i sign in and it asks for a serial number which i don't have.  It tells me i'm on 2 other computers but it's a new id so i'm not sure why it thinks that way.
    I'm so frustrated, i've chatted 2x with customer service, one of the told me he had no clue and come back later.  The other one said, just purchase the sub.  This really defeats the purpose of a trial, since i've never used inDesign and wanted to see if it would be easy to use. I'm also now scared to pay a 1 month fee to try and spend 3 days trying to log in.   I've looked in the forums for help, used downloaded cleaner and uninstalled.  I was excited about playing with the CS on the cloud, but know i'm just frustrated. Wouldn't a 30 day comp sub solve the problem, which if it works i would commit for the year, i suggested it to the CS chat, and no answer.....
    HELP?

    The 30 day trial of InDesign CS6 should only correspond to InDesign seeing that you've already had it installed on your computer and have used it for 30 days already, not the Adobe ID you're installing it with. Is it possible that you've already tried it a year ago when it was originally released?

  • Why can I not use my PS CS6??

    All of a sudden today 14 Feb 15, when I try to use CS6 Photoshop, which I have owned and use for years, PS starts to come up, then deletes itself and Adobe Application Manage blocks me.
    It wants me to sign up for Creative Cloud and pay! Of course I get a 30 day "free" trial and the pop up says I can continue to use CS6 after the trial if I sign up and pay for Creative Suite? I don't want Creative Suite, I want to continue to use CS6, Photoshop and all the other Adobe applications for which I paid BIG BUCKS! What is going on? How can I get PS CS6 to work as it has for many years?
    Thanks, Rus

    gener7,
    Thanks for your concern. I addressed (fixed? worked around?) the problem
    by pulling the original CS6 install DVD. I un-installed CS6 from my
    MacBook, then re-installed (providing my product s/n of course) then
    suffering though the interminable Adobe update. After many hours of this
    recovery, all seems fine (at least for now).

  • Activating Trial of CS6

    Sorry, I know very similar questions have been asked, but I cannot seem to find a response which solves my difficulty.
    I am trying to activate CS6 as a trial version.  When I first opened the program I think it asked if I had a product code, or if I was signing up for a trial.  It then took me to a window which said "Sign in Required".  The only option from this screen is "Sign in Now".  When I press "sign in now" I get an error message stating "Please connect to the internet and retry".  The only options available from here are Cancel (obviously gets me no further), retry (which does the same again) or a suggestion that I go to the "getactivated" page to activate my software offline.
    When I follow the offline activation option I am taken to a webpage which offers to generate a response code: I need a request code and serial number to use this, however (neither of which I have) and even if I did I do not reach a place in the software which allows me to input a response code.
    I have followed the advice on the FAQ pages - my PC does have working internet, I can access secure sites, my hosts file appears to be empty (well, not completely empty - it has information in, but no list, so I am a bit baffled by that) and my GlobalSign Root Certificate is enabled.  And I have no idea what to try next.
    Please help.  I was hoping to like this software enough to replace my very antique version of Photoshop 6.0, but if I can't get into it then I won't!
    Regards,
    RW

  • Trial Photoshop CS6 - can I access it as a first-time user?

    I downloaded trial Photoshop CS6 on my iMac as a first-time user, knowing that my serial number for CS1 was out of date (I'm retired and haven't used Photoshop for years). But I can't activate it. Is it not available for first-time users and if not, how can I uninstall it safely? I really want to try it out before I buy the full version, and was unaware that I needed a serial number until the install.

    You don't need a serial number for trielas. if it timed out, something went wrong.
    Adobe trial software expired early
    Uninstall it using the uninstaller that comes with the program.
