Signing out and back in does not fix CC apps crashing on launch problem.

I have installed Illustrator CC, Indesign CC, and Photoshop CC. All three of these crash upon launch. Sometimes they go unresponsive during the loading screen, sometimes they get past that but crash within seconds before I can even try to use it. I'm running Mac OSX 10.7.5, and I still have the CS6 versions of these programs installed. I've tried signing out of Creative Cloud and signing back in, like Adobe suggests, but it doesn't help the issue. I've also restarted the computer, but that didn't help. Any other ideas? I would really appreciate any help!

Do you receive any specific error messages when the applications crash?

  • LR CC launches then freezes at flash screen, Not Responding status. have reinstalled, signed out and back in etc etc.

    LR CC installed successfully. Launch, get upgrade catalog pop up, ok, Process. LR then launches then freezes at flash screen, Not Responding status. Have reinstalled, Signed out and back in etc etc. Have let it run for several hrs, no joy. Now have 9 catlogs from doign this 9 times. PS CC works fine.

    I have found a solution somewhat. Not ideal, but working.
    uninstalled and reinstalled for second time. Signed in to CC app, then signed out. Then opened LR CC, signed in from within that (not the CC app), the upgrade catalog pop up came up (again), then LR CC launched and worked fine, albeit bit sluggish.
    signed out of LR, signed back in the CC app, lauch LR, it froze at splash screen. So tried LR5 whilst signed into CC app, it froze as well at splash screen.
    SIgn out out if CC app, restart PC, launch LR5 without going through CC app, works fine. Tried LR CC direct, works fine. Tried again after sign in through CC app, froze.
    so my issue appears related to the CC app.
    after all this stuffing about, I am now up to catalog 13 !
    so I have a solution for my problem, not ideal, but works.
    two hrs in Adobe chat line did not proved the resolution.

  • Lr CC won't open. Tried signing out and back into CC and other suggested solutions.

    I use Window 8.1. Downloaded CC trial two weeks ago and installed Lr 5 and Ps. I created the Lr catalog in a location other than that suggested by Lr 5 (a secondary drive). Lr 5 and Ps worked fine and I intended to buy the Photography package. Then I upgraded to Lr CC and uninstalled Lr 5. Lr CC won't open. The Trial screen appears, I click on "Continue Trial," it goes away and Lr doesn't open. I tried signing out and back into CC numerous times, I uninstalled and reinstalled Lr CC and even the CC app, still nothing. I tried deleting the .lrcat.lock file but couldn't find it, so I deleted all the catalog files and folders (it was just a practice run). There seems to be no way to get Lr CC to open.

    I cannot get my newly changed Apple ID to change in I cloud on my iPad.  I have signed out and back in with my new id and have turned off my iPad completely and back on....it's still showing up with the old user name in iCloud.  Help!

    Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    I believe that when you reset your ipod(command given from the computer, right?)  touch WHILE the ipod was updating, It cleared the system in the middle of writing files, thus corrupting(equivalent of cutting of in the middle of a sentence) the basic running system.
    I suggest you go to an apple store and ask for a technical diagonosis in person. they may offer to help if the problem is fixable. If your ipod is still under warrenty, i would guess it would be free/low cost.

    If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

    Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
    If that doesn't work:
    •  Log out of your iTunes store account.  Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
    • Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
    • After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

    The Error 5 error code indicates a malfunction in the popup flash mechanism.
    If this is not cleared by turning the camera off, then on, your camera will require service to correct this issue.

    I reset my iphone, and pandora was installed in the same folder I had it on my iphone 4.  Problem solved!

    I have been using this for as long as the feature has been available along with App tabs. All of a sudden it no longer works.
