Signiture box on browser

I was wondering if anyone knows a soultion for using the ipad screen to sign in a signature box on a browser.
when the External Signature browser page opens if you try to write on the screen the touchpad acts like you was to move the screen around.
I think the External Signature browser page runs off java?
If you open the browser page on a Macbook, when you move the mouse over the box the cursor changes to a cross and you click/hold to write on the screen.
I have tried several differant browsers with no luck.
I hope this makes sence

iOS does not support Java. If the control you describe is in fact a Java applet, you won't be able to use it on the iPad.

Open a File Dialog Box to browse through image files

Hi all
I need to develop a code to open a File Dialog Box to browse through Image Files in Oracle 10g.
Once the Image File is selected i need to save the file in a Table Column in the Backend Table.

Are you talking about a rectangle. You can do it by using "100% width" button provided in muse.
select the rectangle and click on 100% button this will fit the rectangle to the browser width.

Only a grey empty box in browser window

I only get a grey empty box in my browser windows, when I start the HTML-pages with the java applet "HelloWorldApplet" from the "my first cup of java" tutorial from the java-sun pages.
What can I do?
Other java applets work fine.
I have activated Java 2.
And the 4 programms from the java web start and other applets work fine.
It is only the one, that I compiled.

The Sun Java Console, that I can start from my Windows-browser does not output anything.
Looks like I got stuck here, right at the beginning.

Ghost boundiing box in browser

When I preview my DW8 pages in a browser, my slices/links
show - just for an instant - as a bounding box around the link
image selected. It doesn't do this in safari, but does in explorer

Maybe I'm missing something obvious but I still can't find the search box that I'm sure used to sit in the top right of the browser. Any ideas?

When i right-click and select 'view image info', that info box and browser window lock up, have to manually close firefox to reinstate the browser

when i right click and select 'view image info', that info box and the browser window lock up. i have to manually close firefox to reset the browser and gain access. sometimes, i have multiple firefox browsers open when this happens, and both browsers lock up, and all three (both browsers and the image info window have to close down together..
I'm using 3.6.13 on Windows XP.

Prompt box in browser

Hi,
I have been working on this for a long time and seem to hit a wall. I have a report which has a parameter (Report done with CR2008). When i try to see the report, I see through the http headers that the prompting is send to my browser but I do not see anything. I tried replicating the problem with Eclipse and the only thing I see is the left corner of the prompt when I use the Eclipse browser.
Any ideas if this is a bug?

I was looking at the script using Firebug and I noticed the following message:
"Please check the following to resolve the issue.<br>1. Verify that crystalreportviewers/ is accessible to your WebApp and is the correct path to the viewer resources. 2. You may customize this location by altering the crystal_image_uri and crystal_image_use_relative properties in the web.xml. 3. Validate that the file crv.js exists at crystalreportviewers/js/crviewer/crv.js."
I get this message when I display the report without parameters and when I display it with parameter, except that the parameter never appears whereas the report without parameter does appear.
Any ideas?

When I open up Firefox the box pops up immediately & can only be closed by right clicking on the box down the bottom of the screen & clicking close. It started happening after uninstalling Firefox & then reinstalling it yesterday. I Was able to uninstall it completely yesterday but not today. It will not allow me to remove it from program files.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps and allows to delete the Firefox program folder.

When I click the minimize box, Firefox browser closes - why? My wired desktop is old & my security is AVG - may be an issue.

And, while closing, it scrolls down s-l-o-w-l-y from top of screen.

Why Browse File Dialog Box Starts Part-Way Down?

Whenever I am presented with a dialog box to browse files, the list of
files always starts up showing the filename about 1/5 the way down
the list, even though I always (at least recently) have had to access
a file at the beginning of the list. This is a minor annoyance but I was
wondering why. I'd expect it to default to either the approximate area
of the list where I'd last selected a file, or perhaps come up with the
file at the top of the list selected or at least visible. Seems strange
to me, and I was wondering if there was a way of changing that.

File Open Dialog Box on Button Click

I am devloping some webpages using JSF and RichFaces..
I would like to appear File open Dialog box to choose single file and multiple files and another Folder chooser dialog box to choose the folder content..
Both the operation should be performed while choosing the Button Choose File and Choose Folder...
I have already tried Input type = file and aphace tomohawk..
But i all the components are coming with text box and browse button..
I dont need that. I need to open the dialog box once i clilck my choose file r folder button and it should work browser indepent.....

HTML doesn't provide you the possibility to select multiple files or select folders at a single browse. Thus JSF can't do any much for you. Best what you can do is to write a signed applet or web start application which does the task. The Mojarra Scales component library has a ready-to-use component which embeds an applet which does that task. Check [https://scales.dev.java.net/multiFileUpload.html].

A new video now present on my Firefox home page is causing the browser to crash on two computers. How do I remove it?

Just today, the problem started on my work laptop. When Firefox first opens everything is okay, whether the video pop-up window is there or not. However, if I then open a new tab and select my Firefox home page, about 80% of the time the browser crashes, asking for information to send to Support. When I reload Firefox, the offending tab does not go back tot he home page, but to a state prior to that.
I now find that my home desktop has the same problem. I can find no settings to prevent the video from displaying on the Firefox home page. I also get the impression that the video is some promotional item from Firefox.
I will now run manual virus scans, but I'm running Webroot on both systems, and they are scanned automatically. Any ideas? Frankly, I'm wondering if it's time to find a better browser.

The default homepage has featured various animations for a long time now (world map, bouncing star, and so on). The method to disable them remains the same:
# Type about:config into the address bar and press Enter.
# To bypass the warning, press the big button labeled "I'll be careful, I promise!".
# In the search box, paste browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl
# In the search results, double-click browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl. Delete all the text so that the preference value is blank, then press the OK button. As a side-effect, only default tips will be displayed below the search box, because new ones won't be fetched from the web anymore.

# Click the Show Folder button.
# Open the storage folder, open the persistent folder inside that.

"Save" Dialog box always opens in different sizes

Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, whenever I "Save" the dialog box comes up in different configurations. Sometimes the folders section is really wide and sometimes very thin. I usually can't see the full names of the files in the default folder and have to resize the box before browsing where to save the file. Also, the file name window at the top is too short to see all of the file name I'm working on if it's a long file name. Is there anyway to customize the "Save" dialog box for either or both ot these issues?
I'm on a Macbook PRO (2011).

YOu should be able to drag the window from the bottom right to size it. That size should stick when you save the next time. You may have to adjust it seperately for different applications.
If it doesn't save try rebuilding Finder prefs
Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences folder and trash this file:
com.apple.finder.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

How do I get rid of an error box that refuses to respond but blocks my scroll bar?

error box says browser settings change. I don't understand what it means, but I also cannot use the choices to get rid of this box, blocking my scroll!
it goes 30 sec to about a minute or 2 then returns. I did malware & Norton scan
& figured it would be gone. not.
It reads:
Browser settings change. (yellow yield sign)
An unknown change was detected on your browser’s search settings.
Pick one:
Keep my current settings
I am aware of this change and approve it.
You cannot click either choice to get rid of it, it just sits there
You cannot click the yes box nor the red ‘close’ box
Nothing works except to go back to
The firefox symbol at the bottom bar,
Then you can see – for example – all 4 firefox windows-
And from there you can click that close button & it goes away
For a short while.

hello bowes, this sounds a bit like malware. please look out for any suspicious extensions (like 3rd-party-toolbars or things you have not installed intentionally) presently installed under '''firefox/tools > addons > extensions''' or the programs section of the windows control panel and remove those entries.
