hey im just wondering if anyone knows a way on how to sign unsigned symbian applications for nokia 6220c. I want to sign the unsigned application called iSMS. Can anyone please help. Thanks

check this out, you will find apps, themes and stuff for your phone. some apps from previous os's will work but not all. you might have to register to actually download the apps, but have a look and see if you see something interesting

Hi,
Is there any WiFi hot spot application for Nokia X6? (Except JoikuSpot).
Please don't suggest apps which helps to connect to free wifi hot spot, I'm looking for an app which turns my 3g / 2g connection to wifi hotspot.
And any one from India facing the problem to purchase an app through ovi store? For me its giving error message saying "your language is not supported". I have selected English is as my language but still I'm getting the same error.

I have no idea what you are saying, I can get apps on my L800 without any problem and new apps become available almost daily.
Also currently available apps get updated frequently for me so it is unclear to me what it is you are trying to say.

New Islamic applications for Nokia 6300

Hi everyone,
I recently bought my Nokia 6300 (little more than a month). Recently Nokia is releasing 6300 with preloaded Islamic applications. I tried to nokia.com/ramadan, however there I could not download Islamic applications for my Nokia 6300. Though, there are links available for N73 and other phones.
Is there anyway I can get these applications? Any web link? OR can anyone send me these to email address?

Actually, Nokia has released Islamic applications specifically for 6300 as well (as is mentioned at http://mea.nokia.com/english/ramadan). These applications are available for download for S60 phones however, there is no link for downloading these applications for S40 phones.

Creating applications for Nokia 5800

Hi,
Can anybody provide me with a list of the software that I need to download in order to write applications for my phone (Nokia 5800 (model 5800d-1)) using either Visual C++ or Qt. I can, to a certain extent, write software with both of these programs, but I do not know how to create a mobile application from a piece of code that I have written, i.e. how to convert to a SIS or SISX file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Symbian Belle for Nokia E6

Hi , Today I read on Nokia website , symbian belle is available for Nokia E6, is that correct? has anyone upgrade symbian anna to symbian belle

Better not to upgrade E6 to belle, I had upgraded it to Belle, Belle is good for Big Screen like N8 and E7 it is not good for E6, In one screen you can create only 8 shortcut, where as in anna in i thhnik it was more that 12.
I am not happy with Belle on my E6, offcourse my phone become faster, apart from that you will get less apps, like fring is not available, my son's favourate Frunit ninza is not available.
therefore final conclusion : do not go for upgrade to Belle on E6.
I will request nokia to release some new FW for Nokia E6, why because if it is a bussiness phone, at least provide -email, calender and clock in one home screen, right now which is not possible.

What you see in the Store is what you get unfortunately. there may be apps in the future, but that would depend on developers actually making the app or not.

Fail to Make backup applications for nokia lumia 6...

I have a nokia lumia 620 and I can not do that backup (settings-backup). I do not have a Microsoft account. I have an alias [email protected] If I get on the microsoft website I login with [email protected] I go to settings-backup and give applisst + setiings on. Then I give back-up now. He shows me that I do bakcup. Then I log on SkyDrive and can not find anything. Where I'm wrong?

The backup is not on Skydrive, it is on your Microsoft account. Also there are no backups of apps, just the applist. When you need to restore, sign in with the same Microsoft account you used before and you will be asked if you want to restore the backup if you have an active cellular data connection when you go through the device first usage procedure.
Once th eapplist is restored the phone will start downloading and instaling the apps again, you can do this over WiFi.
