Silicone Macbook Case (Skin) - Where to buy?

I have been searching everywhere for a soft case (like an iPod skin) for my Macbook. I have seen the decals, skintz, silicone keyboard/trackpad covers, skinit, bestskinsever, etc. I even had the new Speck clear hard case, but it was quite uncomfortable on my wrists and scratched the side of my display. All I am looking for is what is found in these two links:

In order to purchase, it appears that you need to be a distributor (minimum purchase of 300-1000!) or you want 1 case with 299 spares...
I have emailed their contact people to no avail. I have checked every site and tried every search I could think of.
Help, please??? Has anyone seen anything like this available for purchase? Thanks so much in advance!!!

Silicone is a more or less an insulator. The macbook uses fans as well as the bottom of the case to dissipate heat. My main concern would be heat dissipation - as the silicone covers the entire bottom area of the macbook. Further more - as Bricks322 mentioned - the macbook draws air in throught the keyboard area. Combine the two factors and you got a macbook that's hotter than it already is.
It looks wonderfull - but if you're going to make your notebook suffer from heat - it kinda defeats the purpose. You may end up with scratch free toaster

I have one of the last generation Macbooks and my hard drive died on me again. this the second hard drive and I only have the device for 1 year and 10 months.
Last time it fell under warranty but that has expired by now. So I am left with following questions:
1) Is it normal for a Macbook to kill 2 hard drives in less then 2 years? Could it be somthing about my Macbook specific or the way that I use it?
2) I don't really feel like spending at least 200 euro's at my Apple reseller to have a new hard disk installed... So I was wondering:
2.a which hard drives are suited for my type Macbook
2.b where do I find them / at which price (within Europe / Belgium)
2.C where do I find a manual about how to install it myself?

Hard drives do fail. That is an inescapable fact and a primary reason why backups are always recommended.
Two hard drives to fail within two years, although unusual, would have nothing to do with your Mac and more to do with the actual hard drive.

Replacing the hard drive in your model MacBook is very easy. Instructions on how to do so are even in the User's Manual that came with your MacBook. If you no longer have the manual, you can download it from here:

Additionally there are also excellent tutorials on youtube - just type something like "MacBook hard drive replacement" or similar in the search field.
Internal 2.5" SATA hard drives can be bought virtually anywhere and are very cheap - a 500GB internal 2.5" SATA hd, for example can be found on-line for as little as 50 Euros (maybe less).
I'm in the UK and whenever I need to buy internal hard drives I do so on-line from ebuyer.com:

In Uruguay in Cellular Center (+598 2 903 3333) that is where I buyed it told me it has no solution, it´s a problem of hardware accepted by Apple, that Apple change the phone in this cases, but that they can´t change it by another new one because their warrantee is 3 months and I bought in december, 2012. It cost me US$ 1,250 and I want a solution because I saw in the Apple web that iPhone warrantee is 1 year and I am still covered by it.
I have the invoice dated December 24, 2012.
Do you have any solution to my problem?
It is hard to believe that a so expensive iPhone has a life of 6 months.
Do I need to take my iPhone to anywhere they can solve its problem?

Where to buy the MSI GS70 2OD-002US in Europe ?

I live in Portugal (Europe), and very excited to purchase this laptop, but... with some dificulties trying to get answers to some questions.
1st the 5 physical local stores listed in MSI website after I click "Where to Buy", all replied to my emails saying MSI doesn't sell laptop anymore in Portugal.
2nd I discovered amazon.com is selling it but not amazon.co.uk.. I emailed amazon.co.uk asking if they were thinking selling it, they forward my questions to amazon.com which basically said "we dont control how much you will pay in Customs".
Some 10 companies in UK replied to me saying they only ship to UK mainland.
Till now, started getting a bit frustated in how can be such an awesome machine in a global internet connected world be so hard to get answers and best way to purchase it without needing to pay a flight to UK or some other country to buy it..
So here it is my original list of questions I mailed trying to understand the purchase process:
1) I live in Europe(Portugal) and would like to buy the following laptop:
*MSI GS70 2OD-002US*
2) Does it exists with Portuguese Keyboard ?
3) When is it available to be purchased in Europe ?
4) Where can I buy it online so that it can be sent to Portugal ? And will it be possible online to choose options on the
configuration ? I heard about 2 configs: 2x SSD of 128GB and a 2nd config using 2x SSD's of 256GB ?
5) Where can I buy it offline in a physical shop in Ireland ? (Since seems MSI doesn't sell laptop anymore in Portugal, I got some family living in Ireland so could be a good family visit + laptop purchase trip)
6) How does work the support in Europe ? In case of malfunction/problem will I have to mail Laptop to the country where MSI have its support center for Europe ?
7) What is the "dead pixel" policy on this laptop ? In case I buy this laptop online and it arrives with "dead pixel" will I be able to return it for replacement ? If no, then it will be better to buy it in a physical store where I can check for "dead pixels" before purchase ?

you can buy compatible RAM and HDDs for those MacBook Pro models from many reputable vendors, as well as from online auction sites (if you know exactly what you’re after — caveat emptor). Upgrading either the RAM or the HDD is fairly straightforward; the only unusual tool that you’d need for the HDD is a T6 Torx screwdriver.
As far as upgrading the CPU or the graphics card on a MacBook Pro, that’s a different matter — neither is easily removed nor easily replaced, and I don’t know where one would go shopping for suitable CPUs or GPUs.

Hard drive upgrade-where to buy parts

I was looking to put a 250 gb internal hard drive in my macbook. I was told replacement is easy and have instructions but there is no hard drive you can buy from apple at this site or stores that sell macs. Does anyone who has upgraded a macbook harddrive know where i should buy from?

Need new Y-minijack where to buy?

Looking to find out where to buy a Y-minijack cord. one end goes in to the
Digital out jack on the SoundBlaster card, one goes to the Digital DIN on the
speaker system and the third end goes in the Li've Dri've.
Can not find a parts list the Creative site.
Cambridge Soundworks said should be able to get this from Creative.

What screen protector and case will you be buying for your new ipad (3rd generation)?

Hello!
I'd like to know what types of cases people will be buying for their new ipad this coming Friday as well as what type of screen protector/body guard you'd recommend.
I've been looking online trying to find places that would be able to ship before Friday, but I'm not sure which one to go with, there's too many options! I'm definitely interested in a leather folio case though.
I've also been wondering what type of screen protector to put on. I've seen the iVisor anti-glare, and I really like how it works, but seriously... anti-glare on a retina display? I don't know... any thoughts on that or suggestions? I'd greatly appreciate it!!

I had an anti-glare screen protector on my iPad 2 and it degraded the quality of the screen so much I removed it. I have a clear skin on the back, which I like. It prevents scratches to the aluminum back and provides a gripping surface to hold on to. The iPad itself was slippery so that extra grip factor helps me. I use a smart cover for the front, because I like the features it has and the quick removability when docking the iPad. I also like that it automatically sleeps and wakes the iPad thereby conserving power. I chose the polyurethane smart cover because I had heard many issues with the leather covers fading/losing color and I couldn't justify the $30.00 dollar difference in price. I dock my iPad into an iHome theater device regularly, so using a portfolio type case would be too cumbersome to deal with. I do think portfolio cases or the otter box cases provide more protection, but they add more bulk to the iPad than I care to deal with. In the end it comes down to personal preference based on your particular needs. The items I have listed and the reasons for them fit my needs, I'm sure others will have different configurations that are specific to their needs. Hope this helps,

MacBook Air purchased at Best Buy

I purchased an "open box" MacBook Air today at Best Buy. It has no iPhoto, iWork, GarageBand or iMovie apps on it. I was under the impression it was pre-loaded. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks!

Open the Mac App Store, the stylized A in the blue circle, and click Purchases and see if it shows iPhoto, etc as available.
If OT, take it back to Best Buy and ask them where the software is that should have been loaded.
