SIM card switch for Bold 9930

Help! I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 and I would like to switch to a used phone I purchased, a Samsung Droid Charge! Will my SIM card be compatible? I attempted to activate the phone online and Verizon gave me an error when I entered the SIM card number that was in my Bold. Any suggestions?

Each phone has it's own unique code. If you're a customer in good standing with Verizon for at least 6 months they should provide the unlock code for your device for free. Just explain that you're traveling overseas and want to use a local pre-paid SIM while you're there.
There are paid unlocking services at varying prices. I personally have great luck with Horizon Wireless Online. They charge between $20 and $25 a pop. Guessing right, the iPhone has to be unlocked, unless you have one of the Verizon models as they all have the GSM radio unlocked...the FCC imposed that on them in exchange for a load of bandwidth this past year
If you have the AT&T or GSM carrier model, some of those carriers will unlock for international use, but not US use until the contract is up. Talk to your carrier and see what the status on that is.

Sim card switching between iphones

The other day I dropped my iPhone, cracking the screen. I have a spare iphone so I just popped the sim out of the old phone and put it into the new one. However when I plug the new phone into iTunes, it asks me to create a new account with AT&T.
Do I have to take it to the apple store or something? How can I get this sim to work with the new iphone

Alright the woman from AT&T had no idea what to do...
She suggested I go in to the Apple Store and talk to them. I really won't have time for that tomorrow and really need a working phone. If I set up the phone again, will it restart my 2-year agreement?
With the new sim card in my phone, it just displays the the usb cord pointing to the iTunes logo (like when I first bought it). I plug it into iTunes, and it asks me to enter in my AT&T phone number. After verifying my account with my ss number and zip code, it asks me to enter in how many texts I want per month. This makes me think I am going to restart my 2-year agreement... which I definitely don't want to do. All I want for is the phone to work as soon as possible, and to not have to restart my 2-year agreement with AT&T. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a lot

It's on the right side as you face the phone. Unless you have a Sprint or Verizon phone, in which case it does not have one.

IPhone SIM Card Switch with Daughter

So, I have the original 4gig iPhone. I'm eligible to upgrade to the new 3Gs. My daughter just has your typical Razr, but wants an iphone. What I'd like to do is pass my current iphone down to her and get myself the new 3Gs. But, I don't want to have the data package on her iphone - Wi-Fi is all she needs for data.
I called AT&T to see if I had to keep a data plan on her phone and was told yes. The customer service rep went into an explanation about it being Apple and not AT&T, because it was part of their contract that every iphone must have a data plan. Then, I told him that I'm not going to ad a data plan for my daughter regardless, and asked "off the record" if the iphone would work just by taking the SIM card out of her motorola and placing it in the iphone. He didn't tell me no, but didn't tell me yes.
So, I'm looking for someone to confirm that this will or will not work before I make any moves.

No, the iphone 4 sim is bigger than iphone 6.
You would need to get a new sim from her phone carrier.

Is there any network out there that you can buy a data sim card only for a tablet that you can payg and not a mothly contract

I use my iPad at home with wifi for about 98%of the time the other 2% I need to use 3G sim which is not a problem the problem is I cannot find any network that I can buy a payg SIM card unless I renew every 30 days that's £120 a year to use my iPad the amount of times I use it without wifi is so small 2 gb would last me a full year as anybody got any suggestions?

A G5 can run the OS it shipped with up to Leopard if your CPU is big enough (should be being a G5).

What is Safe BootSafe Mode takes awhile to start, so patience is a virtue here! It may get you going.
