Sim installée ne permet pas l'activation de votre iphone
J'ai effacé mes données et réglages sur mon iphone 4 sous ios5 et je n'arrive plus à l'activer avec la sim d'origine
Je pense que cela est du au fait qu'il a été activé à l'apple store du louvre par un intervenant du genius bar ?
Une idée ?

On dirait bien qu'il est bloqué. Est-ce qu'il avait été débloqué officiellement? Car sinon, pour les méthodes non officielles, elles disparaissent lors d'un restaure ou d'une mise à jour.

Thank you for the note - I have seen similar replies on other posting errors and I see how that could make sense. The thing is, my iPhone is not jailbroken - it is from an authorized distributor. However, when I told them about the "no service" problem on the sim, they were unable to assist. Then my phone messaged that an itunes restore was required - so I did that, several times, to the error message now noted on my post. I wonder if there is some other way to over-write this message? Thanks very much. -
trying to active my old iPhone 3gs. it showing that activation server is temporary unavailable and on the iTunes showing that there is no sim card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate. I unlocked my phone then i upgrade it, after that this happen. i tried with other sim same message come again and again.if any body know solution let me know. thanks
Was the SIM card activated on another phone? I assume this is an ATT style trying to use on T-Mobile? Was the SIM installed correctly? Is the carrier (like T-Mobile) operating IOS 6 devices yet?
If the SIM is a valid SIM from say T-Mobile, you may want to contact them for assistance activating the SIM card.
Activation and SIM issues typically point to the carrier. And if this was a CDMA phone say working with verizon, it will NOT work for ATT or T-Mobile as they use different electronics on the 3GS. The SIM slot is for international use only. -

Lost my iphone4S few days ago , even I have filed a police report with the IMEI code , Later on i signed into icloud ,Find my iPhone shows that it is offline, and all the requested action,lost mode was pending , after some time the phone was switched on for few minutes the phone location got located & even the lost mode got activated but after that i never got any updates from that phone, still my iphone shows it is offline ..so is that possible if somone has restored & a new SIM is installed and activated in my iphone even if the lost mode is activated , if so how could i trace it
If the phone is restored, it's like a brand new phone software/data-wise. You cannot track it.

Cannot activate Iphone6, 'No sim installed' error message
I just received my iPhone 6 and i activated it just fine. During the sync process, iPhone suddenly said "no sim".
I have let the iphone sync all my apps and i have updated to the new iOs and then restarted, hoping this will fix the problem. Nothing.
So then i followed the instructions from the "No sim alert" in the support page, still nothing. I have used a different sim card on the iPhone and that one did not work as well. My sim card works in a different iPhone 6 so i know that the sim card is not the problem. I have restored multiple times and I've put the phone in recovery mode in doing so but the same bloody problem exist! Help!!!Try this, copied from Troubleshooting iPhone hardware
"No SIM installed" alert (GSM models only)
Remove the SIM card (micro-SIM on iPhone 4). Insert the SIM eject tool or the end of a small paper clip into the hole on the SIM tray. Press firmly and push it straight in until the tray pops out. See this document for more information.
Verify the SIM card is not damaged or dirty.
Reinstall the SIM card.
Turn the phone off and back on.
Wait approximately two minutes, then see if iPhone detects the SIM card and if it will register on the network.
If that doesn't work, try another SIM card, if possible, to see if it is detected. -
"No sim installed" error after updating to iOS 5.1
A notification popped up this morning asking me to update to iOS 5.1 so I updated it. Once I downloaded and installed it, it said "no sim installed". I have rebooted my phone, taken out and put back in the sim but the error message remains. I can't make calls or message, but my internet works. Anything else I can try?
i have the same problem with the 4s. I have a (cutdown) sim from virgin (in the UK), who do not offer the iphone, but it worked perfectly until this upgrade (to ios 5.1). The phone was bought unlocked from apple. now i have the no sim error. I am trying a restore and have booked a genius bar appt for later today. I have a very expensive touch at present. The sim is working fine in my old nokia, so it is not the sim that is faulty. What is going on here, why would i want to upgrade if this just creates problems. I have been up since 5am now trying to sort this so i have a phone again.

I have the same problem. Even worst, I use my iPod touch at the gym cause our bikes and threadmills have iPod connection (and screen of course) so I used watch TV shows from my iPad. Last week, thought the treadmill connector on the machine was broken... from what I see, it's the TV out on the iPad that is not working anymore.
Once home, I used my composite cable, well just like you got a message : "not supported" tried on iPad and Ipod Touch.

My iphone 5 running ios 8.1 says no service even if sim is installed or not installed. normally iphones say no sim when sim tray is out or empty but it says no service.I ve tried to reset network settings put on airplane mode but still the problem persists please help
In order until the problem is resolved:
Remove the current sim, clean the contacts, re-install the sim.
Take the iPhone to your wireless provider to get a new sim installed.
Take the iPhone to a physical Apple store for evaluation. Make a Genius
Bar appointment beforehand to avoid delay.
