SIM LOCKED NEED PUK CODE

Can someone please help me unlock my SIM, I need the PUK code, please

    Hello venay22,
I see this was a very time sensitive matter! Please excuse my delayed response.  Have you gotten the SIM unlocked at this time?  Is your phone working as normal?  If you do need any additional support it would be  my pleasure to continue troubleshooting.
Thank You,

    please help me...thanks

  • Locked SIM:  need PUK code to unlock

Anyone got an answer to this? AT&T recommends that i restore to default settings through iTunes. All my settings and contacts, etc. will all have to be re-synced. Anyway around that option?

From AT&T page. How to unblock SIM card...
You'll need your phone in hand to unblock your SIM Card.
First, enter the 8-digit PUK code, then press OK/Yes.
Note: Some Motorola phone users will need to enter *05 if "enter PUK" is not already displayed. After entering *05, then enter the 8-digit PUK code and press OK.
Select a new PIN code, then press OK/Yes.
Re-enter the PIN code, then press OK/Yes.
If the codes were entered successfully, the phone is ready for use.
Important: If the incorrect PUK (Pin Unlock Key) code is entered 10 times in a row, the SIM card will become permanently locked, and you must purchase a new SIM card. If your device is requesting PUK 2 please call Customer Care at 1-800-331-0500.
    Good Luck with it.

  • Accidentally locked iPhone 4s SIM card? Need PUK code.

The phone was given to me secondhand by a friend. It has no sevice since I cannot use it with my carrier, and I use it kind of like an iPod touch. How can I get the PUK code?

Contact the wireless provider to which the iPhone is locked and ask them
    for the PUK.
Be advised, you will need a sim in the iPhone to be able to activate it. The
sim does not have to be associated with an active account; however, if the
iPhone is locked to a wireless provider, the sim must be from that wireless
    provider.
Be sure your friend did the following so you can make the iPhone yours:
Before Selling/Giving Away an iOS Device
Backup the device to iTunes or iCloud, if desired: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
    Settings > Messages > iMessage > Off
    Settings > FaceTime > Off
Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (this only unregisters and deletes it off the iPhone)
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
    More Info... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5661

        Hello bigmike25,
I can certainly help you with your PUK code my friend! May I ask how many times did you try to enter your password on the iPad? In order to have the PUK code retrieved, we need the prepaid mobile number and the MEID of the iPad. Below are the steps on how to find these two pieces of information.
Settings > General >Cellular data number & MEID.
Once you have these two pieces of information then I encourage you to give us a call at 1-800-786-8419. We are looking forward to hearing from you and getting this resolved!
    Thank you…

  • Each time I turn off my Maxx, it locks the SIM card, need PUK to unlock

Each time I have to turn my Maxx off, it locks the SIM card and needs the PUK number to unlock it.  I'm so sick of this.  Can anyone please help me?  TYIA!

    Hello Matthew,
When I got my phone, I wanted to lock it so it required the 4 digit PIN code to get into it. I did that, using the "Set up SIM card lock" function, and, I just checked "SIM card lock settings" and it has a check mark beside "Require PIN to use phone".  It has never been set up for encryption.  I've only had it a few weeks.  I never tried to set up encryption, nor did I do anything that made the PUK number be required after my phone has been turned off.  It just started after I'd had it a couple of weeks.  I'm going to be traveling by plane quite often, and will have to turn off my phone.  I'm not sure what to do at that point.  Any help you can give me will be most appreciate!
    Thank you!!

  • SIM LOCKED? PUK ? Programs Crash?

3rd time this phone locks down the sim card on restart. PUK # I have inputted several times and resolves the issue for a few days until I reboot then upon start up it locks up again? Is anyone else experiencing this or is my phone possessed with the curse of Bill Gates? Programs are also crashing IPOD/Safari/ YouTube? It has been acting up more than operating and at first I thought it was cute being cutting edge and all, but I am losing my patience. Can someone help?

I had a similar problem a few days ago. I was trying to put in a password for the sim card and got the same message. I called AT&T and they gave me the PUK number and then it still would not work right. I was transfered to Apple support and they said do a full rest and so far everything has worked since then. I went in and turned the password off for the sim, not going to go through that again.

  • No phone reception and SIM locked

    Hi,
I reset my new iPhone 4s and when I turned the phone back on it asked for a PIN to unlock the SIM. I hadn't set up a SIM PIN as yet (not that I can recall, anyway) so now I can't make calls. In the top left-hand corner of the screen it says "SOS only" or "Locked SIM".
The reason I reset the phone was to try to get the "Cellular Data Network" tab to show up on the network settings at Settings/General/Network as the only internet connection I had been able to get is via Wi-Fi.
So now I have no phone connection as well as no data connection - which is annoying.
I am with Virgin Australia and have contacted their support line them but they are unable to help and have given me the Apple support number but noone is there as it's now after hours.
Can anyone help? I have tried turning off the Wi-Fi connection, then turning the phone off, taking the SIM out and then reinstalling it and powering up again. I've also synced the phone via iTunes but nothing has helped as it keeps asking for the SIM PIN.

Some carriers provide SIM cards with a default SIM PIN already enabled, & required. Don't know if your carrier requires such, but this is not uncommon. Your carrier should be able to provide you with a default sim pin, if not they can certainly provide you with a PUK code. Call your carrier again & hopefully you'll talk to someone who knows what they're doing. Tell them you need the default sim pin or PUK code. Either that, or you'll have to get a new sim. If you enter the wrong code too many times, it will permanently disable the sim.

  • Just updated my old iphone4, it as no sim card in, as i use it mainly for playing music.updated it to ios7 and when i intially open it up, it asked for a sim lock code.was'nt sure of this. i put the passlock code in. now its asking for a PUK code.

***.are Apple doing? why offer an update without warning people about the  consequences!
I've just updated my old iphone4 to ios7. this phone as no sim card, as i use it more like an ipod..after the update it ask for a code, i put in the passlock code.
Unbeknown to me the sim lock and the passlock codes were different! as the sim as been deactiavted by my carrier they cant give me a PUK code!
I'm now stuck with a phone i cant use
    any suggestions please!

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off.
