Similar to 6110i navigator ?

could anyone tell me what the newest version of phone is which is similar to this please, has  the 6110nav been out of production for a couple of years ?
its actually my ideal phone, but the camera stopped working on it
features i use are:
sat nav with phone-stored maps (i dont want a sat nav which uses data or money as it works)
camera/video with flash
music player
micro sd memory
slide feature - i like the slide, and the 4-way buttons. initial thoughts of touch screen (c7) are not keen on.

thankyou ive just checked, the 6710 looks like the best match
so the 6710 just uses a map file data plonked onto the mem card same as i alreayd use
I'm assuming the c7 cant use the map file data that the S60 uses, and that the ovi map for the c7 isnt available in the same way that the s60 map was provided on a memory card free of charge
edit, the c7 isnt S60 i take it, is it symbian^3 ?
edit - gotta be honest when i switched on the c7, i got worried about it immedately downloading data, and switched it to offline again. I'm totally imagining its going to cost me £10 of data without me even knowing what its doing.
i have no idea whats its doing. im not sure i want to put it online again. i'm not actually even sure what online is. with my navigator, it was either receiving a signal, on the internet, or sat nav link, and i knew what was going on.

  • Roles and Navigation Tree

    Hi everybody,
    I have a portal role that contain the few worksets and the few pages in a "tree" structure.
    How could I show  this "tree" structure in an portal application ?
    Thanks for any feedback
    Regards.
    Altafin

    Hello Detlev,
    Firstly, thanks for your fast feedback. I'll try to be more specific.
    Similar with the Navigation Tree from PDK docs, I want to show a role with it's all "nodes" and "subnodes"(worksests and pages).
    In the Navigation Tree, from the user environment I obtain the root and  started from it, I build the all it's subnodes. In Navigation Tree example the root is "absolute root" and subnodes are portal standard roles(System Administration, Content Management, Java Development etc).
    Similar with the above example, I want that the root to be a role's folder. From this folder's root, I wish to get the it's worksets and pages, in a tree structure.
    Best Regards.

  • How to create a navigateable messages for SALV in FPM message area

    We have some problems raising messages for errors in a ALV table. Messages reported by the ALV table itself (like a character entered in a number field) are displayed in the FPM message area and the message is mapped to the field causing the error (navigation link). When we try to raise an own message out of the application controller of our building block which carries the ALV, we didnu2019t manage to have the mapping between the error message and the ALV-field.
    We already tried several versions of calling the message method (using the elements of the context of the calling application as well as the context of the mapped ALV compontent):
    CALL METHOD wd_this->gr_msg_manager->report_t100_message
          EXPORTING
            iv_msgid              = '/ISDFPS/MSG_GAF_PE'
            iv_msgno              = '047'
            iv_parameter_1        = lv_par1
            iv_parameter_2        = lv_par2
            io_component          = lo_INTERFACECONTROLLER
            io_controller         = lo_api_interfacecontroller
            io_element            = lo_element
            IV_ATTRIBUTE_NAME     = lv_attribute
            iv_severity           = if_fpm_message_manager=>gc_severity_error
            iv_lifetime           = if_fpm_message_manager=>gc_life_visibility_automatic
            is_navigation_allowed = abap_true
            it_attributes         = lt_attributes.
    Does anybody know a solution or maybe an example where a error message is linked to an field in the SALV and reported in the FPM message area using the above mentioned method call?
    Thanks and best regards

    Just to clarify, what I am having trouble with is finding where exactly to plug in the name of the plant to be filtered? If using a message type such as MATMAS in a distribution model, it is very straight forward to navigate down from the 'Data filter active', and assign a value to whatever field you wish to filter via the 'List of Values'.  But in this example, message type QPMK required use of the BAPI MasterInspectionChar, and therefore the different method in creating the filter.
    I cannot find similar functionality when navigating the BAPI related row, for MasterInspectionChar. The 'Change Filter' dialog popup displays a row for 'Container' and then 3 more rows containing 'BAPI structure...'.   Clicking the 'Attribute' checkbox on any of these rows sets 'Data filter active' as a node under the BAPI.  Double clicking the 'Data filter active' brings me back into the same dialog, and selecting any row with an attempt at this point to create a filter results in the 'Select node: content-dependent parameter filtering' warning.  Is this warning occuring because of missing configuration?
    Thanks - Mike

  • How to create a data filter for BAPI used in a Distribution Model ?

    I am trying to create IDOC's for a QM inspection plan via message type QPMK in ECC 6.0. When creating the new message type in the Distribution Model, it forced me to use a BAPI (MasterInspectionChar) rather that just the message as I have done in the past. In order to ensure that only IDOC's related to a specific plant and material type get sent out, I was trying to create a filter.
    I am able to get into a 'Change Filter' dialog by double clicking 'No data filter set' under the node 'MasterInspectionChar.SaveReplica'. However, an attempt to highlight anything on this dialog and clicking button 'Create filter group' results in msg. 'Select node: Content-dependent parameter filtering'.
    Online help led me in a different direction, one thread led me to believe I needed to create a table entry for the filter in table TBD16 via BD81 for later attachment to the BAPI in the Distribution Model. Before this, I created two Z* ALE Object Type records for plant and material type in table TBD11 via BD95 for what I thought would provide a lookup back in BD81 for creation of a new filter record, but these objects are not found. Per the help, I am also unclear as to whether I would need to set up Receiver determination or Parameter filtering, nor where to make this step in the configuration happen?
    Can anyone point me back in the correct direction to get a data filter set up for this BAPI within the Distribution Model ?
    Thanks - Mike

  • What's the use for "name" attribute?

    Almost every object has a "name" attribute and "display name" attribute, e.g. page, tab, template.
    What is the exact use of the name attribute. For my understanding, one of its use to is contruct a URL for the object. For example, when I want to add one item to a page, the shows me the path to the page is:
    PAGE / HELLO_PAGE_GROUP / HELLO_PAGE / TAB37465 / TAB37469 /
    TAB37465 is the name of the tab attribute. I realized this and went to change the name of the tab to a more meaningful value. However, when I try to add the item, the page Path did not change. Is this a oracle internal bug?
    I have similar problem with navigation page. I published a navigation page as portlet. I changed the name of the navigation page and use the name as the portlet name, the new name of the portlet can not be reflected in the portlet repository.

    Jerry,
    1. I tried to add an item to the page within the tab. On the "add item" page, it shows me the path to the current page. Ok, Let's forget about "item", and just talk about the path to a tabbed page. The path/URL never changes, even after I change the tab "name" attribute.
    2. I am talking about the name of the portlet within portlet repository. Let's see within page group A, I created navigation page with name of "test". I published the page as a portlet. In the portlet repository, I can see a new portlet "test" under "new/A". I changed navigation page name from "test" to be "B", however, the portlet name never changed in the portlet repository. It's always "test".

  • Using Sun Website Resources

    Hi
    This is a rather strange question, but here goes.
    I am currently looking into the JdbcRowSet class and have been looking for good documentation and tutorials. I managed to find a very good tutorial which was in fact a chapter from a Dietel book, the tutorial gave a link for further reading on the RowSet class.
    The link is shown below:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/jdbc/getstart/rowsetImpl.html
    Now this link took me to a very well written webpage that is part of the java.sun.com website. However try as I might I haven't been able to navigate to it from Sun's website, I can only get to it from the tutorial link.
    My question is therefor, how would a user be able to get to this webpage (and similar pages) through navigation alone? If it hadn't been for the link given in the tutorial I would have been unaware of a very good resource.
    Many Thanks in Advance

    The answer is that sometimes Sun is just not very smart.
    You might try submitting feedback on the issue for all the good it will do (probably none).
    You could try asking google what pages link to that one. It might know. There probably is a link somewhere... just well obscured.

  • Newbie Help - Tab Canvas with Multiple Pages, Arrow to Navigate between

    Hi All,
    I am developing my first form. It is a page that requires several pages. I have created a tab canvas and put the pages on (there are 10 pages). When i run the form, i can see the first 4 page headers, and cannot see the other headers. Is there a way to have a arrow at the top so i can click on it to move the display so i can see the other pages?
    How would this normally be done? What i am after is a similar multi page navigation to that in the assignment screen, or any oracle screen with several pages.
    many thanks
    Rupz

    Hi, thanks for your reply.
    If i press F2, a list of all of the pages appear, but i do not get any arrows.
    I have a single tab canvas with 10 pages on it. The pages fit on the canvas, but not on the display window. Do i need to modify the canvas in any way to get the navigation arrows to display?
    thanks

  • Firing plug shows wite content area

    Hello everybody!
    Currently we encounter a strange problem in one of our WebDynpro applications. When a certain user clicks on a button that fires a plug to navigate to another view, the contet area gets white and nothing else happens. This happens to this user only, it happens whenever the navigation t a certain view is triggered. For every other user, this navigation works perfectly, even with the same data loaded. Another user experiences similar behaviour when navigation to another view; again, for every other user the navigation works fine.
    When entering any view, we check if the user is member of a certain UME group. But this check is performed identically (for the same UME group) in every view and that works fine in every case except for those two user-view-combinations.
    Did anyone come across something like that or have any idea on what might be going wrong ? I'd happily supply any information necessary...
    Thanks
    Michael

    Hi!
    I had a look at the SCA dependencies of WDRUNTIME12P_11-20007087.SCA, and found that it requires AJAX RUNTIME 7.31 with minimum patch level 6 (ours is 3), FRAMEWORK EXTENSIONS 7.31 with patch level 6 (ours is 3) and PORTAL BASIS 7.31 wih minimum patch level 12, while ours is 7. I'll try to make our basis team install the latest patches on everything, even if that does not help with my problem.
    Yes, there are only two users (of about 30 to 40 that use this application) having that problem, each of them when navigating to another view, but the white content area displays everytime these users try to navigate to their "special" view. Clearing the browser cache did not help, and the problem remains even when using Chrome instead of IE9. Both users are working on terminal services (Citrix), currently we are checking if something changes when they use ordinary Windows 7 workstations.
    Funny enough, the application initially worked fine for both users, the behaviour changed some weeks ago for the first user and a few days ago for the other one. As far as I know, there was no change in portal configuration, no patches were applied and we did not deploy another version of our application at these times. And this happens on our production machine, only, of course.
    Since we are checking UME memberships when navigating to any view, I was wondering if there is a circular reference in the UME group or role definition, but since we are checking for membership in the same group in every view using the same class, I can hardly imagine why this should fail in one view only (and a different one for both users).
    Anyway, if anyone might come up with another idea, I'd be grateful...
    Thanks Michael

  • WL6.1 inserts columns in wrong order with random nulls

    I'm in the process of migrating a WL5.1 EJB app to WL6.1 and I've come across a
    very frustrating and strange error. While executing my app, one of my session
    beans calls a (callable statement) stored procedure on SQL Server 7.0, but when
    it trys to insert a row in the database it inserts a few of the columns in the
    wrong order and one of the columns, oddly, is all of the sudden NULL.
    I've checked and double checked all SQL code and SPs on SQL Server and everything
    is correct. Plus, the app works perfectly on WL5.1. PLEASE HELP!
    Kindest regards,
    Paul

    Jane:
    I just created a test project with the Portfolio-Color theme. I selected text for the link item instead of the default button. I then created 10 slideshow links, placing them in two columns of 5 each. 1-5 and 6-10. After aligning by eye I was able to navigate down each column in order. However, when I dragged 10 video clips into a similar menu the navigation order went all over the place as you experienced. I've tried using the regular buttons with snap to grid enabled for importing. It appears that that theme wants to import across the top row first and then the bottom next. With only 5 items it puts two on the top and 3 on the bottom.
    You may have to go with three menus: the top menu has two folders, slideshows 1-5 and slideshows 6-10. Then place your slideshows in each folder accordingly and let it do the placement, either text wise or button wise.
    Either that or find a new theme what will work better with 10 items on a page.

  • Full screen mode with zoom tools

    With a PDF that defaults to opening in Full Screen mode, is it possible to make the zoom in and out tools show by default so that the user doesn't have to use keyboard shortcuts?

    CtDave,
    I already considered doing that, but some pages are quite long which means I'd need maybe 3 pairs of zoom buttons on those pages so that they would still be visible as the user is scrolling. That adds a lot of clutter. I was hoping there was a way to give users a 'floating' zoom in/out bar that would be available as they scrolled down through the page, similar to the navigation buttons that can be made visible in full screen mode if turned on in preferences.

  • Xhtml file type association (facelets)

    Hi,
    Is it possible to change JDevelopers xhtml file type recognition and associate it with JSP type. I'm using third party JSF/Facelet framework, which requires use of .xhtml extension for facelet pages.
    Unfortunately JDeveloper does not allow to change a file type for this extension using Tools > Preferences > File Types. Since it treats files as html, JDev does not provide JSF tags in component pallete.
    Thanks,
    Noel.

    Facelets may be used with JSF JSP pages in XML syntax instead of XHTML.
    To develop a Facelets application in JDeveloper 10.1.3 with JSPs.
    1. Add Facelets JAR files to a Facelets project.
    <facelets-1.0.12>/ jsf-facelets.jar
    <JDeveloper10.1.3>/jsf-ri/jsf-api.jar
    <JDeveloper10.1.3>/jsf-ri/jsf-impl.jar
    <JDeveloper10.1.3>/jakarta-struts/lib/ commons-beanutils.jar
    <JDeveloper10.1.3>/jakarta-struts/lib/ commons-collections.jar
    <JDeveloper10.1.3>/jakarta-struts/lib/ commons-digester.jar
    <JDeveloper10.1.3>/jakarta-struts/lib/ commons-logging.jar
    <facelets-1.0.12>/lib/el-ri.jar
    <facelets-1.0.12>/lib/el-api.jar
    2. Create a JSF JSP page. Convert the JSP page to JSP XML Sytax by adding
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.0"
    xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
    xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"> </jsp:root>
    xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets" is the Facelets namespace.
    3. To faces-config.xml add:
    <application>
    <view-handler>
    com.sun.facelets.FaceletViewHandler
    </view-handler>
    </application>
    4. To web.xml add
    <context-param>
    <param-name>javax.faces.DEFAULT_SUFFIX</param-name>
    <param-value>.jsp</param-value>
    </context-param>
    In web.xml file, also specify the servlet mapping for the Faces Servlet.
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>Faces Servlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    5. To JSP page add tags from Facelets namespace.
    6. Facelets navigation is similar to JSF navigation, and is specified in faces-config.xml.

  • Obtaining Logical Link ID

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement wherein I need to access the logical link id of the current view that is displayed on the screen. The logical link actually points to my ZComponent. I have several Logical links like these,hence when i open a view i want to know exactly the logical link that was accessed at runtime.
    Based on the logical link id i want to default a particular field in the view.
    Any kind of code help would be really greatful.
    Best Regards
    Uma Thirugnanam

    Hi Uma,
    you could register on event if_crm_ui_cross_comp_nav_req~add_navigation_data. It is thrown by class CL_CRM_UI_F_CUCONAVIGATIO_IMPL which should be singleton.
    My debugging showed that it only works for cross component navigation. As these seem to be the only cases where "real" logical links are used.
    Do not know if there is something similar for the "Navigational Links" defined inside one component.
    Put a breakpoint in method CL_BSP_WD_WINDOW->PUBLISH_NEXT_NAVIGATION_STEP( ).
    Hope it helps. Could come in handy for me as well, some time in the future.
    cheers Carsten

  • Load Testing Ajax calls

    Is it possible to load test Ajax calls using eLoad? If so, please let me know the steps to follow in eTest version 8.20.
    Thank you!

    As well as proxy recording, I recommend you create a java agent script. Your proxy recording will create a static sequence of ajax navigation just as they happened during your recording. You may find that you want a finer level of control, and the Java Agent will give this ability by allowing you write java code to make more complex real time decisions.
    This may get you started:
    Re: Create test scripts using e-Tester without using visual scripts
    You should consider downloading a more recent 8.30 or 8.40 version of Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) for improvements to the java agent. In the near future there will be a version that has been designed with Ajax in mind. It will have a decision making UI similar to the navigation editor without having to edit java code.

  • Find My iPhone - How Close

    Hi,
    I'm new to the iPhone (loving it) and am trying to understand how the iPhone determines its location.
    I was at home (with my phone) last night and after setting up the "Find My iPhone" feature, the phone was located within an area of several city blocks.
    This morning, I did the same thing at my office with a similar result (actually a larger circle). After this test I went outside and made a call and came back in and did a "locate" again. This time the result was a location at the address I was at.
    Did the more precise location result from the phone call or from being outside with the phone for a short time so the gps receiver could report a more precise location??
    kayjh

    Thanks, I suspected that was the case. Is the GPS as sensitive as that found in a Tom Tom or a Garmin unit? In other words, will the unit be able to replace a windshield mounted GPS device with similar accuracy for navigating? kayjh
