Hey,
I just got the new Gen5 iPod TODAY and I haven't been able to use it because it keeps giving me problems. For starters, it wouldn't open on my computer just like the guy in the discussion below this one said. It won't be recognized by either my iTunes OR the updater, and only recently started being recognized by the USB drive as the Apple Removable Drive or whatever.
Here's probably the real problem though: My iPod is frozen, and I've tried reseting it, but it just won't do it. For a while it was stuck on the select a language, but I just looked about half an hour ago and now it has the Do Not Disconnect screen up. Why won't it reset and how can I get it fixed? I plan on calling Apple Support tomorrow, once they open (they were closed today because of Thanksgiving).
Help.

Your gmail address is still your apple id. Just when you activate your mail and notes, it asks you to create icloud e-mail, which is completely separate and allows you to have one more e-mail address. Just some extra benefit, you don't have to pay for, but useful to save your notes and send e-mail or two if Google server goes down.

it possible to achieve using JMS adapter or not?? what is the alternative solution ??
    Regards,
    raj

    Hi RSR,
JMS is the better way to connect sonic MQ.below iam attaching you few points while using JMS.
1.for the JMS adapter an external driver is needed (java archive)
2.this archive is provided by the respective provider of the queuing system
3.the driver has to be deployed via SDM , see XI configuration guide for details
4.Routing rules and sender has to be specified as for any other channel in the directory
        object model
5.the message header information is determined from the appropriate sender
       agreement for the communication channel
6.the communication channel defined must be used in exactly one sender agreement
7.at least the interface name and the sender service must be qualified in the
sender agreement ,other fields are optional
Depending on the transport protocol selected, specify the following :
8.For Sonic MQ JMS Provider :
    ·        Java class QueueConnectionFactory
    ·        Java class queue
    ·        IP address or server name
    ·        Server port
    ·        JMS queue
    9.JNDI JMS Provider Lookup
    ·        JNDI name of QueueConnectionFactory
    ·        JNDI name of JMS queue
    ·        Name of JNDI Initial Context Factory
    ·        Address of JNDI server
    ·        JNDI users
    ·        JNDI password with confirmation
    10.
For WebSphereMQ (MQ Series) JMS Provider
    ·        Java class QueueConnectionFactory
    ·        Java class queue
    ·        IP address or server name
    ·        Queue manager name
    ·        Channel name
    ·        JMS queue
    ·        Character set for non-ASCll names
    ·        Transport/network protocol
    ·        Target client
    11.
JMS Provider Administered Objects via File
File name of serialized object QueueConnectionFactory
File name of serialized object Queue

I got my new iPhone 5 Last Friday. However I can not activate facetime on the new iPhone 5. All other function work well.
I used my apple ID and always get the below message " Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again".
My network work well. I can access internet, apple store with no issue via wi-fi or AT&T 4G. No password issue as I can use the same apple ID register other access and apple store.

Any one here can help on this?
    Thanks

Facetime is accessed through Contacts or Messages. The only place you will find anything else in is Settings, where you would activate it. There is no stand alone app for Facetime like on the iPod or iPad.

  • How display a "There were errors - see below" message

I want to use h:message to show each error message adjacent to its respective control (rather than h:messages at the top of the form). But I also want a "There were errors - see below" style message at the top of the form (only if there are any messages, of course). What's a nice way to achive this in JSF?
    David

You can use the following line:
    <h:outputText value="There were errors - see below" rendered="#{! empty facesContext.maximumSeverity}" />

If other iBooks work fine, try re-downloading the one that causes problems. While you're in the iBook Store, check the book reviews to see if other users have similar issues.

    Hi Bloodasp,
What you are proposing sounds like a good plan and you should not encounter too many problems with it.
If you are going to run several clients connected to the same queue and they are to be considered functionally equivalent then your message receivers connected to this queue will receive messages in an order determined by the JMS provider itself. The canonical form of this is round-robin.
If you require targetting messages to particular message receivers then you can take a look at setting properties of the messages at the sender side and setting a message selector at the receiving side, it does not sound like this is what you are after though.
    Hope this helps,
    Tom Jenkinson

  • On a 2012 server running IE 10 I cant Add anything to Trusted Sites, I get the below message. Any ideas?

    Francisco Mercado Jr.

As it looks (yellow bar at the bottom), there are Group Policies in effect, which limit, what you can change on the Trusted Sites dialog.
Either find that policy and change it, or move the server out of the influence of this group policy to do, what you want to do.
Another setting, which may have impact, is Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration, which you can disable in Server Manager.

  • Ever since upgrading to Lion I keep getting the error message "disk was not ejected properly."

Ever since upgrading to Lion on my iMac G5 Intel Core 2 Duo, I keep getting the error message "disk was not ejected properly."  I have repaired permissions and reformatted my external LaCie 2TB USB hard disk, but the error continues.  I use this disk for my Time Machine backups.  This always seems to happen when the computer wakes from sleep, but not consistently.  The computer was asleep overnight and backed up as soon as it awakend this morning.  Two hours later I get the improper ejection message.  I have used the same external disk with Snow Leopard (all versions), but never had this error message or problem.  This disk has been in use without any problems since February, 2011. Upgrading to Lion is when this problem began. This is the below message (but from online image from Snow Leopard, but Lion message is essentially the same).

I had a similar issue. Mine was with a Seagate GoFlex drive. The solution was to install GoFlex for Mac 1.1.2 which included a 64-bit driver to disable the drives built in sleep timer:

    Loren,
we had a similar ORA-04061 error when we tried to compile a Workflow package
after we modified it with new attributes. What we were told was that some
workflow process or listener is still "thinking" the package is invalid even
though it is valid. Whenever packages referred by the workflow process is
changed, the Agent listeners and mailer must be bounced. Worst case scenario
if the error still persist is that the database may have to be bounced as
    well.
Please try bouncing the Agent listeners or, if it possible, bounce the
database and see if you are still getting the error after that.
The listeners that you need to bounce are all the listeners that you have
enabled under OAM > Workflow Manager > Service Components,
    including the Workflow Notification Mailer.
    Hope this helps thanks,

changed, the Agent listeners and mailer must be bounced.
