Simple doubts with scenarios and services

One simple and "basic" doubt
Imagine I had developed an IDOC-IDOC scenario or File-IDOC, it doesn't matter...
In my Integration Directory all the services and receivers, senders agreements and determinations remain there...
First Doubt:
How can I make them visually disappear without deleting them? Meaning, how can I disable them?
Second Doubt:
At the moment I would like to start another scenario, but that scenario will use one of the business systems created. How can I disable the other the interface determination and the receiver agreement from the other service, so that the older service won't get in execution?
When I activate the new service, he runs the older one instead of the newer...

u r misunderstanding a few things...
when u use the term scenario, its meant for a whole development...
within an scenario u can have different business systems which r assigned to various sender/receiver channels and interfaces...
u can disable the communication channels and not the interfaces because they r meant specificallly as senders or receivers...
when a user opens a scenario , he can open his own business system components..and if u want all the determinations, agreements to be not viewed by the user in a single scenario , u may well add them to a different scenario....

1.we go for service without party when we are having A2A communication.
A2A means application to application communication, it is used when two systems in same landscape try to communicate with each other. Systems in same landscape means both the systems are belongs to same organization or a company.
Normally in A2A communication sender and receiver is inside one organization and developer have freedom to define communication rules .

B2B means Business to Business communication .It is used when there is exchange of information between two different Parties or companies or landscape.
When two applications in different companies communicates with each other we call it B2B Communication.
in case of B2B every party has it own rules which must be followed if we want to communicate between different organization.

New Tax Code Creation with CST and Service Tax

I want to know the complete procedure of new tax code creation with CST and Service Tax. I want to know the steps for calculation of % of that Tax Code.

Hi Expert,
Before creating a Tax Code, Create two Condition Types(T-Code: OBYZ) for CST and Service Tax, which need to Select the below Items
Cond. class - D - Taxes
Calculat.type - A - Percentage
Cond.category - D - Tax
and while creating a Tax Procedure just select the Condition Type of CST and Service Tax and provide the Account Key for both Condition Types.
Assign the GL Accounts to the Account Keys in T-Code: OB40.
Create a Tax Code in T-Code: FTXP, which is to be assigned in T-Code: FV11.
Maintain the percentage in T-Code: FV11, with your Key Combination and
Try this procedure, which will help you...

Error in Service with Party and Service without party scenario

Hi All,
I am configuring an external system to customer SAP system scenario.
I have configured the external file system as Service with Party and the receiving SAP system as Service without party.
All the configuration including the "Virtual receiver" set up has been done properly but i am still getting the error "No receiver could be determined".
Can somebody help me on this ?

in my previous experiences with internal/external parties communication, I've found out that the best practice is to create an integration scenario and then create the configuration scenario from scenario wizard. It is much simpler and easier.
Briefly, you'll have to create a dummy party/service in order to "wrap" your internal system, since the external party should not receive information regarding internal systems (Business system name, for example).

Issue in generating Invoice with standard and service material

There is one scenario where along with standard material (i.e Tube bending machine) they charge the customer for the Design and Development of a machine (which is a service). Is it possible to make a standard order with the standard material(with excise and cst/vat) and service material (with service tax only) in one single order?
I have tried with both the material in a single order but while making invoice system is taking only the standard material as in item category we have mentioned Billing relevance from delivery document. And service material will not have the delivery.
I would be thankful if you could spare some time and check the exact problem.

Yes.. this is a common problem when you use Delivery relevent material and service material in the same order. Why don't you use the service material in differnt order and invoice it? or do you have any restriction like the delivery relevent material and the service material should be billed in one invoice?

Creating A Simple Video With Music and A Picture Background

Some of you all may know that I am in a band. I am wanting to put some of my music on youtube and am wanting to make just a simple video- with the song playing in the background- and just some sort of nature picture, or only a few going in the background. I'm thinking I should use iMovie, but I haven't had a whole lot of luck figuring it out this morning, so I was wondering if anyone here could help me with the task that I mentioned. It would be so greatly appreciated!!!

Is there an easy way using any script or software to list all servers joined to your domain including operating system (i.e. server 2008) and service pack level, without having to check each manually?

How can I Burn a Simple DVD with Chapters and Menus out of My Home Videos.

I created an iMovie (unsig iMovie 10.0.2) of my daughter's volleyball season. I inserted markers separating each game day, hoping these would create chapters in my DVD. Then I did some research about DVD burning apps and finally downloaded BURN. With Burn I created a DVD, but this DVD did not have chapters and also did not have a customizable menu. The whole movie ended up as one 2 hour long chapter.
I have hundresd of family vacation on a hard drive stored and would like to start making iMovies of them to put on DVD for easy watching and forbackup storing.
What is a simple way I can burn my iMovie with chapters onto a DVD?
My macbook pro did not come with iDVD so I dont have it.

MY source is HD i beleive. I shot videos with an iPad Mini.
I ventured into this because I offered this DVD to several team parents, so they are waiting for me to give them the DVD. While I was making it, I added subtitles, showing the game dates, game scores and stats of each player, so it came out really nice. However, not to concern about quality, i have burt the video in a dual layer dvd in SD. I dont have a blue ray burner nor media.
This made me want to do the same with my family vacations vieeos, whic now are a bunch of files in a hard drive, sort them by vacation and add titles like lications to actualy be abel to watch them on a dvd someday.
I have apple tv in the family room, but do not use to watch these videos, will look into that. However, I would still want to make the DVD's.
It seems odd how this, basic feature, has been dropped. I guess apple does not want us to use any more discs.
Still hoping I can do this, if not, I will have to gie away the DVDs with the 2 hour long video in a single chapter.

Doubt with Windows and Oracle Forms 10G and 11g

I have some doubts in installing Oracle Client on Windows.
a)Can we install Oracle Forms 10g and Reports 10g client on Windows 7?
b)Can we install Oracle Forms 11g and Reports 11g client on Windows XP?
c)If we have an Oracle Forms 11g and Reports 11g, can it connect to a 10g Server?
d)If we have an Oracle Forms 10g and Reports 10g Client, can it connect to an 11g Server?
Please, Can any one help me in this????

a)yes it can be installed on win7, may have some issues on 64bit systems but they're solvable
b)11g had some problems with windows 2000, but didn't see mention of any problems on XP
c)if you mean a database server then yes - i managed to connect 11g to an 8i database, so v10 should not be a problem. If you mean a forms/reports server..well newer forms/reports builder might not want to run old forms/reports and vice versa, but I don't see the point of operating on the same files from different versions. You can still load old form/report source files with a newer builder and recompile them to run on the new server.
d) the "client" is effectively your web browser with a java plugin, unless I misunderstood your question. What version was a form/report compiled with should not be an issue.

Problem with contract and service not matching... no help by phone or in stores

My contract says 4gb shared plan, my bill says FamilyShare1400... 15+hours in person and on the phone and lots of promises but the bottom line is I AM NOT IN THE PLAN I CONTRACTED! My bill has been more expensive, my services deleted and I was charged for what should have been included. 26 January is when this all started.... problems pulling a 'stupid phone' off my account made it impossible to put me into the 4gb shared plan (Excuse #1 - and I've heard many more in the multiple calls to VW) Every agent makes Promises Promises... Every agent ASSURES me that they have taken care of it, and it will be corrected - and that they will put notes on the account so anyone looking at it will KNOW what had happened... Today I'm told that there are NO NOTES!! I'm ready to walk away from VW - a relationship since the early 1990s means nothing to them..... How can I get my service straightened out, guaranteed? How can I get VW to take some responsibility for their inept handling of this customer? 15+hours because VW doesn't do their job is 14.5 hours too long!

How to Create a simple report with headers and repetitive details

Hi All,
I have been trying to do a report through PLD with a query that accept a parameter and has been saved into a Query category of the Query Manager. The Problem that i have encountered is that though i wish to have some of my fields into the Report's Page Header Area, i may not able to move it from Repetitive Area1 Area.
I tried creating a field of database and tried linking it with Table but only the First Record details of my table gets displayed in that field irrespective of the parameters i provide.

The 'T0.' and 'T1.' can be avoided as you say...
The resultset would contain same values for fields of Table1 and the different values of fields of Table2, which means the fields of table1 can be grouped and moved to the header and so it needn't be redundant in the report.
just like resultset,
T0.Field1 T0.Field2 T1.Field1 T1.Field2
1              Henry       Item01     345
1              Henry       Item02     112
1              Henry       Item03     745
As in this resultset above, you can see that fields of T0 that is Table1 can be grouped so that only Fields of T1 that is Table2 need be displayed in repetitive area.

Doubt with Workset and Area Page

Hi. I am configuring ESS for two country. For the Country A1 the company not want display the Area Page of Career and Job and for the country A2 they want display this Area of Page.
I modified the FM HRXSS_GET_MENUDATA and this work fine and not display the Area of Page . The problem is that Workset still appears.
I have only a role. If I delete the workset in the role, this is delete for the two country.
The Question is: Is necessary that I create tow roles for the country A1 and A2? Or Can I do this using a FM(Function module) for that the workset can be hided for the country A1 and not for the country A2?

Hi,
The way we handled is we created 2 roles one with the worksets that should be available for everyone and 2nd role having the workset which is supposed to be hidden based on the country.
And user Role merging concept, so unless 2 roles A1 and A2 are assigned the subtab will not be shown. And did enhancement to the FM HRXSS_GET_MENUDATA.
To solve the issue you need to manage the Portal Roles.

Creating a simple graph with time and values?

I think I'm probably just plain stupid that I can't seem to get this done, but I've been trying now for two hours and tryed the help section so some one please help!
I have a table with quite a lot of columns.
First column is the years, the other column are prices values for different regions.
Why can't I pick two regions and plot them against the years????
I can pick two regions and plot them, but then I don't get the years underneath.
When I try to add the years, it also ends up as a value on the y-axis, while I want those as the x-axis.
This can't be difficult... even in Excel it took me five minutes to get it, so why not here??????

A Scatter Graph takes an extra step (or two).
Make Table with Header Row and create Columns for each data pair.
Select data.
Select Scatter Graph.
Adjust X-Axis Ranges and Steps (Select Labels).

Doubt with encoders and UMI7774

Hi all,
I have NI, PCI7344 motion controller with UMI 7774. I am trying to read the counts of an encoder. The encoder gives 3 signals, i.e. A,B and Index. The encoder does'nt give A bar , B bar and Index bar signal. Can I still read the encoder pulses in labview with the above hardware? Is there a work around? Earlier I had UMI 7764 with PCI-7344 in my previous project. I had used this kind of encoder successfully with UMI7764. Do I need to change my encoder and get the one which gives the inverted pulses too, to use it with UMI7774.

Hey that OK you have used 7404.But I would suggest using AM26C31 which is quadrature differential line driver.
In this particular you will give the Input and in Output you will be getting Input as well as the inverted input.i.e
If you give A as an Input , In Output you will be getting A as well as A bar.
