Simple_list() doesn't resize

I started converting a plugin to use simple_list(), and unfortunately it doesn't resize properly like the other controls:

Hi, I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to get the list to
scroll by pixels instead of row height. This is because one row may
be larger than the screen and thus you won't be able to view all
the text. Did you ever find a solution?

Assuming the screenshots are of the same page, the one that's taller is either taller because the minimum page height has been changed or due to some page content (that's not marked as a Footer Item) being located in the new space. This may be an empty text frame or the transparent area of a widget, text frame or other object.

Finder, Icon Slider bottom doesn't resize

hi, i have a small bug with my icon slider of Finder. it doesn't resize with the small slider at right bottom of a Finder window.
as you can see: the icons in the Finder window are very small (set by the slider right), but the slider left is set to the biggest icon size.
but
if i go to a higher Finder level, change there the size of the icons (possible), return to the old Finder window (picture above), then:
the functionaltiy is actually, that the sliderposition left and right is synchronous.
that well running disappearing after couple of clicks or minutes.

I have the same issue. If I switch from a non-icon view to the icon view, the slider doesn't work. However, if I select icon view for a folder, then close the folder and re-open again, the slider works. I think the invisible database file for the folder display isn't getting updated correctly / at the right time.
Permission repair doesn't help, so I suspect a minor Finder bug. Hopefully 10.7.2 will fix.

Aterm doesn't resize contents properly

I've been on holiday for a while so recently did a large update (300+ packages). After doing it aterm has stopped resizing its contents correctly.
It is hard to explain but if I stretch an aterm window larger the content (usually just a shell) doesn't always resize to fill the new window. Sometimes there is at least 5-6 blank lines at the bottom of the window that the content doesn't go in to. If I play with the size I can get the content into it but it seems to snap to a certain size before the content will fit.
I'm running aterm version 1.00.01 on fluxbox and the shell is either bash or bash in screen.
Has anyone else seen this kind of problem?

If you open the brush dialog, there is a dual brush setting on the left that can be enabled. If you click on it, the dual brush diameter is the first option that can be changed and it is in pixels not %. If you resize your brush size with bracket keys or right click and drag the slider, photoshop adjusts this setting automatically, but the new drag resize leaves this setting intact.

Adobe Acrobat CS3 window doesn't resize

Hello,
I'm currently using Adobe CS 3 on a Lenovo X200T with Windows 7 installed. I have a problem with Acrobat CS3 which I have not had with prior computers. I find that whatever size the window is when I open an acrobat document, it stays that size. I mean, I can resize the borders and all, but the document doesn't follow it. For example, if I open the document and it is windowed and in a corner of the page, and I maximize it, acrobat will maximize but the document stays the same just with a larger grey border to fill up the space. The scrollbars don't move either, so when I make the window small, they just disappear sometimes and I can't navigate easily. The only way to get the window size I want is to resize the window, close adobe, then open the document again.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I think that CS3 is related to AA8. If it is, you will likely have to upgrade for Win 7. AA9 is the only version currently certified for WIn 7.

Text runs of the page / doesn't resize with window

Hi,
I have seen this before but cant figure out how to fix this:
In Mail and other applicaitons that involve typing text the sentenses run off the "page".
When I resize the window the lines dont' adapt to the window.
I am stumped, please help :-)

Why Generator doesn't resize correctly (blurry result)?

I'm trying to use generator to create icons but the results are unusable. Generator creates blurry pictures as soon as they are resized. The original PSD file is 60x60 and I want to export to 44x44.
Here is what I get with generator (the circle is blurry):

I don't know if this is related, but I just spent a couple of hours on something extremely frustrating.<br />
Check out these three images:

Notice the blue in the middle of each image. It is #0d92d7 when I create the images. However, if you look at them through the browser the *last two* change. Copy and paste them into photoshop and they are now #408dd7?!? If you right-click and download the files they are the same, but if you copy and past (or look at them in the browser or screen cut), the last two become different. I've tried using .png and .gif and had the same issue. I could live with it if it changed all the images, buy why only the last two? They are fine in IE.
Any ideas?

CTRL + ALT doesn't resize my brush anymore !!!! :'(

I'm using OSX 10.8.2 and Photoshop CS6, with an intuos 4, and 10 minutes ago the function CTRL+ALT+left or right on my intuos was visually changing the size of my brush, and now, when I use the same combination, it just drags my photoshop window and move it from left to right...!
I can't remember changing anything in the options of my intuos or Photoshop, and make the settings back to defaults doesn't change my problem.
If you have any answer, clue, tip, or anything helpfull, I'd be sooooooo glad !!

Safari: SWF doesn't resize during window resize

I'm seeing a resize problem with Safari and FP9 beta, at
least when the SWF is loaded directly in the browser window without
an HTML wrapper. When you resize the browser window, the app
contents in the SWF don't change size until the window resize is
complete. In other browsers (Camino, for example), the SWF contents
resize as the window does.

This bug has persisted for two years and four months, through three major OS releases and numerous incremental updates.
Zooming Finder windows has been around since System 7, or was it 6, or earlier? How could nobody have noticed this?
Apple seems to be incapable of fixing these silly little glitches.

MouseEvent.LocalX co-ordinates doesn't resize with sprite

I'm looking into how to create a custom sprite which the
mouse performs different actions depending which part of the sprite
it is clicked on they are:
1) Click and drag on the left edge able extends the box to
the left
2) Click and drag in the middle able to move the box round
the screen (drag and drop)
3) Click and drag on the right edge able to extend the box to
the right.
I've looked at a couple of ways to implement the context on
the rectagle. One of them is testing where the mouse clicks on the
sprite. My code for that test is this:

However if I then streatch my rectangle to 800 the
event.LocalX only goes upto the original 300 event though the
sprite is now bigger so my test for the right hand region fails so
I can't extend my box to the right any more.
Does any one have any ideas?

I have found a solution to this problem. On the mouseup event
I remove the current resized DisplayObject from its parent.
Then I create a new DisplayObject and pass in the parameters
from the existing but resized DisplayObject.
The new DisplayObject is then added back to the parent.
Then everything works :D
Code snippet is this:

Drag-resize doesn't resize dual brushes properly. CS4

It has come to my attention that the new drag-resize feature only changes the master diameter of the brush but leaves the dual-brush diameter intact. It is the only shortcut that does this resizing improperly.
I would like to know if everyone else experiences the same problem. Is it a bug or is this way of resizing intended?
I mainly do digital paintings and this small bug makes the feature useless for me. I hope that it will be fixed at least in cs5 :P

Mac trackpad doesn't resize in firefox

After upgrading to the latest version of Firefox Gaelic (Scotland), using the trackpad on my macbook does no enlarge pages anymore. Also, the zoom feature doesn't seem to work. It worked like a dream before, and I really miss it!

The MacShack is an authorized Apple repair, so its already been in for repair and testing, and they were unable to replicate the problem I don't understand how the a Mac Genius is going to help. What I want to know is has anyone else had this problem? Should there or could there be interference from my other Mac although its not turned on...

Photoshop cc generate assets doesn't resize all images correctly

I have a stack of images, and I'm using Photoshop CC's new generate assets to produce two versions of each. One at current size (retina), one at half size (normal). Each layer I'm exporting has this naming format "[email protected], 50%image1.jpg".
When I generate assets, not all 50% scaled images get scaled down. Some that should be half the size are the same dimensions as the retina version. Other images scaled down by 50% are correctly resized. It seems to be random.
I have tried variations of scaling, 25%, 200%, renaming the layers, turning generate assets off then on, re-opening the psd, restarting photoshop. None of these seems to make a difference.
Anyone else experienced this, or have a solution?

Hdiutil doesn't resize image

I'm trying to add files to an existing .dmg image.
Several pages on the net suggest to do the following to achieve this:
1. hdiutil convert foo.dmg -format UDRW -o foo-rw.dmg
2. hdiutil resize -size <size> foo-rw.dmg
3. Mount foo-rw.dmg
4. Update foo-rw.dmg
5. Unmount foo-rw.dmg
6. hdiutil resize -sectors min foo-rw.dmg
7. hdiutil convert foo-rw.dmg -format UDBZ -o foo-bz
This makes a lot of sense to me and works. At least to a certain degree. If I just add small files to the image and thus let out step 2, everything is fine. If I try to resize the image that works as well, but I can't get the image bigger than 1245192 blocks, while this page (http://www.applepedia.com/Turnyour_OS_X_install_CDs_into_an_installDVD) suggest to bump the size up to 2 gigabytes.
What am I doing wrong?

SetSize() doesn't resize inner components

hi!
I have a jframe with toolbars, tabbedpanes etc with initial sizes.
calling setSize(w, h) (after layout is done) to the frame resizes the window, but not inner components, not even the frame.
what's wrong?

Layout and sizing in swing take some getting your brain arround. For the most the layout managers ask the child objects what size they want to be by calling a getPrefferedSize() method on the child. setSize on the parent won't influence what size the child is drawn.
What layout managers are you using?
