    Tanks,

Yes. You can use it for any appropriate Apple product, right down to the iPod Nano.

  • Can't use the camera function in my ipod touch 4s while updated to iOS 6.0

I can't use the camera function in my ipod touch 4s while updated to iOS 6.0.
There is all black screen when I turn on my camera.
I open the restriction setting already.
    thank you.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Can I use the iPad charger for my iPhone?

Can I use the charger for the New iPad for my iPhone 4? I'll be traveling and want to pack light.

    Thank you

  • Can I use the iPad charger as a live USB hub?

If i was to use my iPad charger (after removing the cable), as a live USB hub for my external speakers, would that cause damage to the charger? Would this set up work? I've blown up a mac charger before with these experiments, don't wanna do another.

The problems with the Apple Maps app were overblown. Yes, there were some isolated accuracy and direction issues when it was released, but Apple has made a lot of improvement since then. I use it on my iPhone all the time and have yet had problems. It doesn't always choose the same route I would have chosen, but that's with all navigation apps.

  • HT1476 Can i use the iPad charger (12W) in charging my iPhone 5?

Is that OK to its battery, giving that its own charger is only (5W)?

Yes, it's OK. The iPad charger is compatible with the iPhone. The iPhone will only draw the amount of power it needs. See http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD836LL/A/apple-12w-usb-power-adapter and click on "compatibility".

  • I love my music, would love a iPod for this reason but the iPad air sounds really good too. Can i use the iPad air like a iPod for travel (in car).

I love music when I travel, I still have a older mp3 player that I can plug in the car stereo. I listen to various artists, a variety of music. Love to make a big play list for a long road trip.
I'm in the market for a Ipod touch or a ipad air, would I be able to do the same with the Ipod verses Ipad air.
I would use the WiFi for connection.
    Compare for me the differences.
Remember i would want to use it when im out traveling on the road for music.

The wifi-only iPad is basically large iPod touch. There are some aps that are for the iPad only.
The new devices a a Lightning cable vice the older 30-pin connector.
One of these adopters/cables may work:

    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD823ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter?fnode=45
However. some car systems and devices are not compatible with the newer iOS devices like the iPad Air

  • Can You Use The iPhone 4S As An Ipod Touch?

    I'm just curious...
I currently have the ipod touch 3G and last weekend I found out that it won't be compatiable with iOS 6 and I'm gonna have to get a new ipod.
I want an iphone BUT do you need to activate it with a carrier (which I don't want) in order to use the itunes store/app store on it or can you just use it like you would an ipod touch?

    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3406
You activate with Apple not a carrier but you do need "A" sim
in a new iPhone to activate the iPhone
The above link will help on using without a sim

  • I can't use the swipe feature on my ipod touch 5. How can I fix this?

My ipod touch 5, 28 GB will not allow me to swipe or scroll.  I have to tap the feature I want then a box appears around it & then I have to double-tap to get it to work.  I can't access anything that is not on the first screen because I can't scroll down.  I have no idea what to do to fix this.

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke.  If it has not been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again.  Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

  • Can I use the old iphone as  an ipod touch?

My buddy wants to upgrade to the new iphone, so if I get his old iphone can I use it basically as an ipod touch? I don't want to pay the $80+ for phone service but love all the touch features. Please help with this question.

I think you're set if he cancels his service providing he had the pay-as-you-go plan. No voice or EDGE, but I'm 95% sure everything else will work, including WiFi.

  • Can you use the same charging cable for both an iPhone and an IPad or are they different?  When I use the charging cable for my iPhone on my Ipad, it doesn't charge.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • Has anyone gone to Europe from US and used the IPAD charger with only a plug adadpter and had no problems?

Has anyone gone to Europe from the US and used the IPAD charger with only a plug adapter?  I want to be sure I won't burn up my IPAD.

Just using an adapter will be fine.  The charger can handle to 220V just as well as the 110V
