Simple wallpaper question....just now working right?

Love my new new Touch...seems simple enough to set wallpaper; bring up photo, click set wallpaper and voila, but the photo is never there as wallpaper. I'm just wondering, is anyone else having this issue? Whether I use one of my photos, or a photo provided by my iPod it doesn't work, and whether I go through my photos, or my settings to try to set the wallpaper, it just won't set the photo. I don't believe I'm doing any wrong...(scratching head...)

Don't forget to register at ifoundyouriphone.com if you are using wallpaper. The service adds info to your wallpaper so that when you lose it a finder knows how to return it.

I have Diablo II and will be getting a MB soon...
As far as I'm aware Diablo II and its expansion have both Windows and Mac installers on the disks.
Since I haven't got my Mac yet I cannot say if the program works however I would be extremely surprised if it did not run.
In fact my only worries are over the fact the it runs in 640x480 or 800x600 - below the native resolution of the MB... I'm hoping the graphics card is smart enough to 'letterbox' the screen

I just received some horrifying news from Adobe about my production suite. I just FINALLY learned today that what I've been trying to do for over a week now - CAN'T be done because of compatability issues involving updates of both Adobe & Microsucks Winders!!! I sincerely hope this is not your problem. Mine is ALMOST HOPELESS!! Being in this HOPELESS Obamma economy,,,, leaves NO STIMULUS in which to currently upgrade everything that needs upgraded for me to fully use my INVESTMENT in Adobe Suite - sad, horrible and SICKENING!!!

I bought this Data Logger for a specific purpuse to help out with my Search and Rescue volunteer activities, and I really need help with this!!! I am hoping apple will help me!!!

It may be the best source of assistance is the manufacturer of the device. I suspect you will need a specific app for the iPhone to get it to work, but the site is rather ambiguous about that.

Normally this happens because you moved, renamed or deleted these photos (or the folders that contain them) outside of Lightroom. This is how to fix the problem: Adobe Lightroom - Find moved or missing files and folders

If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

I have an iPhone 4 and ever since I upgraded to iOS5 i've got the same problem. Apple need to release a patch as there's no way of fixing this unless we downgrade our phones back to iOS4 which would just suck!
I often shut the music app down and start again but even then the artwork doesn't match the song playing and will only play a few songs. It's frustrating when you're driving or going for a run, having to pull over or stop and sort it out.
We'll have to wait for Apple to bring out a patch unfortunately.

No judgment here on the music you listen to, I have that song too in my library. If iTunes is telling you that the song is missing and you purchased it from the iTunes Store, then just delete it from your iTunes library and then download your song again. Uninstalled Firefox b/c not working right, now can't install Firefox or Thunderbird, File extracts and nothing happens.

Always had trouble with failed updates in Firefox. It finally stopped working right so I uninstalled it. Now it will not reinstall and neither will Thunderbird. They just extract then disappear. I never see any dialog boxes asking to install. It fails without any explanation or warning. No dialog boxes are hidden under other windows. Chrome works, but I like Firefox better.

Year-old iPod and I just noticed it's not working right!

I'm slow, but I think my iPod hasn't worked since I got it a year ago. Every time I connect it to my Mac I have to reset it (menu+center buttons) for it to open in iTunes. That isn't normal, is it? I thought it was just a pain!
So, what do I do? I suspect I'll end up going for a "restore," since I've done the rest. Just wondering if others had seen this.
When I connect it, the iPod gives the "Do not disconnect" screen, but the battery doesn't appear to charge, and it never registers on my computer. Eventually I figured out that if I reset it after I plug it in, it comes up in iTunes like it should. But I don't think it's supposed to be this way.
I thought folks might be amused if it turns out I've sat with this thing for so long not knowing it wasn't working right. Maybe you'll have some sympathy too.

This was either a bad usb connector on a peripheral/dock connector, or the iPod just needed to be fully reset. It's fixed now after resetting and replacing the docking station.

It is not necessary to retain the older installations. YOu might want to consider if you will have any need for them in terms of working with older files, but other than that you can probably uninstall them without missing them.
