Simplest way to block a sender on OWA Outlook, specifically on the iPad

I'm not code proficient at all, and my boss who isn't either asked if there was a way to block an email on his iPad OutLook.
He's not in the office, and he hates questions. This is as much info as I have. As I don't have access to an iPad, I'm having a hard time finding an answer for him.
Please help!

Thanks so very much for answering me! I'm not alone!
He wants to block an individual sender.
When you say he can "put the sender in the untrusted senders list in his Junk Mail Filter", so that implies that he will be able to find the Junk Mail Filter? That outlook works similarly on the iPad as it does on the PC? He knows where the Junk
Mail Filter is on the PC because he can right click it. But there is no right click on the iPad--I think?
Soo where would he find the Junk Mail Filter function on the iPad?
We encountered the lack of right click function availability on the iPad before when he tried to create a new folder. He worked around that by duplicating an old folder and deleting the old messages in it.
I mention code because a lot of the answers here involve attaching mime files or writing HTML.

I have (sorry forgot to add that). I was switched around and finally I was told I would be put through to a supervisor but after being on hold for about 10 minutes the phone went dead, I did not lose connection so I do not know if I was hung up on or there was some technical difficulty. I called again yesterday and did in fact speak with a supervisor for Account Security but he told me he did not know why it was happening and put me through to a different number but that ended up not being any helpful either. That's when I decided to give it a shot on here!

iCab indeed does allow for that

You need a third party app. Take a look at some of these on this Google page.

  • My problem is that my iCal won't sync from my first-generation iPad to my computer, and the computer sends events multiple times back to the iPad... which is now full of duplicate events. I'm NOT on iCloud.

I'm just an old lady who doesn't know a lot about this stuff, but I do love my iPad and miss my portable calendar! My problem is that my iCal won't sync from my (first-generation, cheaper of the two models) iPad to my computer, and the computer sends events multiple times back to the iPad... which is now full of duplicate events. I'm NOT on iCloud. I've had this problem for nearly a year now. My Really Really Smart son couldn't fix it for me.

Can take some time.... how much time?
There's no simple answer to that. My calendar goes back to 2004 and is moderately busy; it took around an hour. It's possible that you've hit a slow period on the server - it happens.
In order for it to work, your calendars should show on the MobileMe site, they should be listed under your MobileMe login name in the calendar list in iCal (calendars listed under 'On My Mac' will not sync) and your MM account details have to be entered in iCal Preferences>Accounts (this should have happened by itself).
If it's not working please see the page I linked to.

  • What is the best way to send large, HD video files from the iPad?

    Hello,
My department is looking to purchase between 50 and 150 new iPads. We hold conferences where participants take short, 3-minute videos of themselves in situations they have been trained for. The idea was that after they have taken the video, they could simply email these videos to themselves, negating the need to hook the device up to a computer, transfer the video over to a flash drive, and ensure that drive gets back to the right person.
Now that I have the first one, I'm finding any video longer than 45s or so can't be sent via email because it's too large.
    Are you kidding?
The file I was just able to send was 7.5MB. That's the biggest video I can send from this thing? Why even give us the ability to take HD video if we can't *do* anything with it?
    But, I digress.
What I'm looking for is the best way to get video off the iPads and into the hands of our participants. Are there apps on the App Store which might convert whatever video we take to an emailable size? I thought about setting everyone up with Apple IDs and having them use iMessage since there is no limit on file size, but of course you must own an Apple device in order to do that, and it still doesn't solve getting it on their computers.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

You could try uploading them to a joint dropbox account that they could then download them from....but how fast it is will depend on the internet connection available.

  • TS3899 What is the current "best way" to use Outlook/Hotmail on the iPad?

I've learned through the recent Outlook/Hotmail problems that, on some devices, the best way to insure sync is to use Hotmail through the Outlook App.
What is the best way currently on the iPad?

I have had no problems with receiving or sending E-mails using Hotmail Account on iPad..
    Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Add Account> Microsoft Hotmail
The iPad should automatically the POP3 and SMTP Settings for Hotmail.

  • Is there a way to connect two analog mics recording in stereo to the iPad for recording?

I currently use an M-Audio Mobile Pre to connect two microphones to my MacBook Pro via USB. If I wanted to use my iPad (or even iPhone) instead, is there a way to get the stereo input into the iPad? Would the Line 6 Sonic Port sold via Apple work? Would it take 2 separate inputs and deliver stereo to Garage Band or another recording app? Or is there another way?

Exactly that -- the procedure is described in the online Help: InDesign Help | Text variables
Now every time you insert the variable named "# of potatoes", you'll see the text "50" appear (with a minimal rectangular marker to indicate it's a variable), and when you want another number of potatoes, all you have to do is adjust the text in the Variables dialog.

  • Is there a way to copy and paste info from an attachment on the ipad into a document or note?

I sent myself an email with an attachment to my iPad.  I want to copy and paste the info from the attachment so I can have it accessible on the iPad either as a Note or a document.  I've been able to copy the info but the Paste does not do anything.  Anyone know a better way?

When you tap and hold down on the text selection that you want to copy - are you seeing the Copy Option pop up? if so, tap on the Copy button and it should turn blue when the text has been successfully copied. Then just go into Notes - tap on the + sign to create a new note - tap and hold down on the note page until the Paste option pops up. Then tap Paste and it should paste the text onto the sheet. It works the same way anywhere that you can enter text, a Pages document, a URL field in Safari - any place that you can enter text.
When the copy or paste buttons turn blue - the command has been completed successfully.

  • Is there a way to add an app to a wish list in the iPad?

I owned an HP touchpad for a brief period and it had this option.  It was very useful when searching the many apps available in a particular category.  Where is this feature in the iPad?  Thank you.

As far as I know (I havn't found a way yet anyway) you can only add to it and view it via iTunes on your computer. You can provide feedback to Apple : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

  • Is there a way for me to send an ipod from canada to the USA online?

does anyone know if i can end an ipod from canada online to usa online? i mean can i send someone in the usa a ipod from canada online?

If you buy from Amazon or MacMall or other online store, you may be able to have it shipped to wherever you want. Amazon gives you the option of shipping to an address other that your own. I ordered my Touch 5 from MacMall and there were no shipping charges because of the price ($284.99 for the 32GB model). You may have to pay shipping charges to Canada.

  • Is there a way to view only desktop versions of web pages on the iPad?

Samsung galaxy a smaller actual mobile has the option to do this.. I've seen this question before and some people were wrong in saying that its up the programming discretion of the host website. It doesn't work for every site on my galaxy but it does for majority of pages I try it on. This tablet screen resolution and processor should allow any and every web page to be fine with viewing desktop versions and not limited mobile versions. This is why I try to tell my friends Apple is amazing but they aren't superior to all others. It's like being a sheltered kid who finished school and is working for his dads company (apple ) vs being out in the real world  (windows)
    I digress..
Is there an app I can download or some way I can program my iPad myself so it only opens desktop versions and gets flash player ? Also if anyone knows any websites where I can teach myself programming codes and mods that would really help also. Thanks

  • Is there a way to have tv shows that have been downloaded onto the Ipad to delete them off the Ipad but still have them in icloud and on the computer?

I have downloaded tv shows onto my Ipad and I now want to move them off my Ipad. Is there a way to do that or not, once you transfer everything to a computer?

They are not stored in iCloud, not really.
If the are in the iTunes library on the computer, simply context the device to the computer and manage the content on the device via iTunes.

  • Is there any way to save my photos to my pc now that the ipad suddenly shows passcode locked?

i wonder if anyone can help my daughters ipad suddenly says passcode locked. we have never synced it, is there any way we can save the photos to our pc? or a disk? she never had a password for her ipad, so we cant open it. thank you

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode

  • Can you block a sender who is not 5 digit number?

This sounds so stupid. but I gave my number to someone and don't want to receive any more txts from this number, is there a way to block this sender?

        Hey there!
You can certainly add Call and Message blocking and prevent their calls or texts from coming through to you. It's a free service and you can add this for up to 5 numbers for a period of 90 days. This is again for both services, and not texts only. Here's a great link for you http://bit.ly/QwfA2E. Thanks!
