SimpleTap/Screen/Option Request/quickly change between open programs

I'd like for there to be an enhancement to SimpleTap where you can easily navigate between open windows. I found that when you have the X220T in tablet mode with the screen orientation in such a way that the Task Bar/Start Menu is aligned with the side of the tablet that has the Pen its kind of hard to toggle between programs using the taskbar. This is because with the wireless bar, simpletap button and other icons it leaves room for about 2 program icons.
I was thinking that this should be an option that takes up an entire simpletap screen itself(like the question mark or hash tag). Perhaps this can be tied into Windows Aero functionality where screen shots are already taken and probably cached somewhere for open windows.

Dear Jean:
It sounds like you are trying to get your external monitor to act as the primary viewing screen. For example it would have your Doc, Icons, Etc. In order to make the external monitor the primary screen you have to:
Open System Preferences.
Choose the Displays Icon
There will be several tabs to choose from pick Arrangement
Drag the toolbar to desired display

My tab button doesn't work anymore and I use the "command Tab" keyboard shortcut to change between open applications. A LOT.

I have a wireless keyboard and the tab key stopped working today. I don't know if I can work effectively without the tab key. I use x.7.4
I don't have the money to purchase a new computer so I'm thinking a good workaround would be to use another key for TAB. How can I do this?

If you have a Mac Mini, you just need a new keyboard. Logitech, MacAlly, and Microsoft all make Mac compatible keyboards.
iOS is not running on your machine. It is Mac OS X 10.7.4 you need to be selecting for your signature.

i used Deletion of Requests from PSA from the prcess chain and found good results, now i have only one request at the psa and thus i am doing good space utililisation. but when i am using Deletion of Requests from the Change Log i am not getting any changes in the request of dso. kindly let me know how to use this 2nd function.

Hi Mahodaya,
As per SAp standards its good to delete the requestes that are no longer needed for the delta update and no longer used ffor inti from the change log table and the data is loaded already in to DSO.
Goto RSPC
Click on create New PC -> enter the PC name n long descp
Next we need to define the start process for the PC.Maintain the start variant process.save n come back.
for deletion of change log we have option in the Other BW Processes -> deletion of requestes from change log
Once u select the option we get a dialoge box here we need to create the variant for the process enter the process variant n long descp. cick ok.
Next in the maintenance screen for the deleting the request from change log table will appear.
Enter the selection patterns to which the requestes should be deleted from the change log.
In the maintenance screen, select one or more Data Store objects for which requests are to be deleted from the relevant change log tables under Data Store Object column and select theInfo Area of the corresponding Data Store Objects under Info Area
If you select the first check box exclude selction pattern, this means that del of requests from change log table will be ignored.

We can delete the requests which are Older than N-number of days (or) date in the above screen. For this one, enter the number of days (or) date in the filed Older than .
OR
If we want to select the requests with a certain status then we can also do in the above screen. We can select the following status indicators from the above screen.
Delete Successfully Updated Requests Only -This status will delete only requests which
are successfully updated into corresponding Data Store objects.
Delete Incorrect Requests that were not Updated - This status will delete only incorrect requests which are not successfully updated into the corresponding Data Store Objects.
Delete Activation Requests only, No Load requests- This status will delete only the activation requests (requests that begin with ODSR_... ). No load requests are deleted.

Request for a change

Hi all. A request for a change in the toolbar. Every time I do something the toolbar always changes to the last tool used. Maybe an option to have the toolbar always in the "normal" view, i.e., display all the tools? It gets annoying to keep having to tap the top icon to show the complete toolbar rather than the last tool used. Also, as I've posted previously, we need an exit button! And a question: Is there a way to center a selection? For example, when making a rectangular selection for, say, a frame, centering the selection by eye is a challenge to say the least. Is there a simple way to do that? Other than these items, I'm enjoying PS Touch a lot (although more tools would certainly be welcomed). Thanks!

Sharon: Yes, I realised that after I posted.
Alec: I know about the arrow you're referring to. There's also a back key on my tablet which will get me to the home screen (most of the apps I have on my tablet use that key to exit). So, yes, we can get to the home screen, but PS Touch will continue to run in the background.
So far, the only way I've found to actually shut it down is to use the task manager.
As for centering a selection, I've posted in the request forum.

In BW, does anybody have some simple code for when on your selection-screen you have an input parameter for the location of the file you want to upload. In SAP/R3 there use to be "Perform get_local_path" to drill down thru your hard drive to find the file you want to select to upload. I am not sure what to use in BW to execute a drill down process for getting the file in a drop down window.

Are you trying to browse the local PC or the appliation server.
Implement the program above, give it a try. When you hit F4, you will get a file open dialog, selection your file, then click open, this will fill the pathfile into your parameter on the selection screen. IS this whay you are looking for?

How to find out if a transportation/accomodation request has been changed?

Hello all,
I need to know if one transportation/accomodation request has been changed after being created. I am using the TRIP standard transaction to plan the travel request without any external agency integration.
My problem is that if I change any field of one travel request such as: begin time, city from, destination or whatever, I cannot
find any field or table that lets me know there has been a change.
I am using an user exit that triggers once you have pressed the "Save" button, but there is no info about the travel requests. There is info about the cluster of the trip, but not about the travel requests. Only the FTPT_REQUEST database gives me this information, but only the final one, so I cannot compare the previous values with the last ones.
Can you please help me with this topic? I don't know how to solve it.

you can use trace event ST01 or using SAP standard workflow.
as per standard workflow WS20000050 for travel request, while in travel request workflow for approval there is task of "wait for event" that could know if you are changing your travel request it will flow to stop workflow and start it again.
for details, maybe you could see sap workflow SWDD and open workflow of WS20000050.

For getting the response back from the user selection , please get the return code too. Before that instead of directly using the table crhd structure.. please do create a type declaration of that table , make sure that the field that you wanted to get using search help be specified at last of declaration type like this

Make use of the FM "F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST" for the value request for the first field.
Use the "FIELD_MAPPING" in the tables parameter of the above FM.
Please go through the FM documentation.

Invalid request for a change in window state

Ok...
Creating a JSR168 portlet and it works fine in Pluto, but I get the following when I deploy to P7:
ERROR: Content not available. REASONE: Invalid request for a change in window state
Here is what the portlet is supposed to do:
* Display a form
* User clicks find
* Lookup is performed
* Window state in processAction() method of portlet is changed to MAXIMIZED
* I'm guessing this is where the error is occuring
I also think that for the TableContainer, I have some sort of attribute incorrect having to do with one of the channelsIs values.
I tried toggling them one way or another without any effect.
Suggestions?

Ive run into this issue also. I need a way for a portlet to change to its maximized state for the purposes of user registration. Is there anyway this can be done? I know that sun jsp "Providers" which are shown on their example desktop, have some sort of maximized state that they can go into, but im not sure how to use this in a portlet.
There seems to be very inconsistent support between the proprietary sun provider api, and the portlet api.
