Simplify SRM Screens - ITS ?
Hi,
We have a scenario where we plan to simplify ( Screen level changes of redundant elements ) SRM screens.Want to investigate for a effort estimate.Could anyone guide what are the possible options.Modify the HTML templates ? from Web Studio.Can someone give pointers and reference documents.

Thanks for the answer.However using ITS dosent seem to be a good possibility for me as I see that the integrated ITS allows only screen dependant IAC's , so I guess I will not be able to have multiple screens that the customer desires.Can I have my own templates ( Multiple ) and still execute the required transactions ?
How do you see the option of developing Webdynpro screens and viewing them in the portal.We can model the shopping cart scenario / selection / purchasing / confirmation and generating the invoice in WD and calling the reaspective BAPI's in the backend.
This way I will get the exact ( or quite close ) no of screens / look that the customer needs.I guess the dependency will be on the availability of all the BAPI's and the support.

Why certain SRM screens unable to go to my break-points?
Hi all,
I am quite baffled by certain behavior of SRM screens. Certain screens can go to my break-points and some don't.
Though I understood that MDM screens will need to be debug by JAVA...
However, I am sure there must be some kind of way to actually be able to debug all my break-point in irregardless of any screen i put my point...
Currently, I am using BADI BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK to test issue....
Is there any development guides to SRM in ABAP?

William WilstrothIf you are not able to debug the screen using the breakpoint in BADI, try debugging from the webdynpro component. Get the webdynpro component name of the screen by right clicking on the required action button and clicking on More Field Help. Now go the the component, in the View>Actions find the action corresponding to the screen button, go to its ONACTION method and put a breakpoint.
Now while executing from portal, the breakpoint in the webdynpro component will be triggered and you can proceed in debug mode to reach the required program/BADI. -
Hi,
We are on SRM 5.0 , SP06, with ECC5.0 backend.Internal ITS.
I am trying to add the company logo in SRM screen (not login screen).
As per SAP Help. I uploaded the logo to files cube.gif and logo.gif in service BBPGLOBAL in transaction se80.
We have restarted the system. Still the logo doesnt appear on the SRM screens.
Is there anything else which I should do? Any specific cache memory to be cleared apart from restarting the server?

1) You can change mime files with transaction SE80 --> internet service --> BBPGLOBAL. Please don't forget to publish your files (local with SRM 5.0 integrated ITS).
2) You need to change the template to do this. Import your Logo as MIME object and replace the present logo with your new logo. Also, You can try to change this text in service BBPGLOBAL under HTML Templates -->LOGIN page. There you have a line "<title>SRM - Enterprise Buyer Welcome!</title>".May be you can change the text form here..I dont have access to system but you can give this a try...

i tried for update but when i saw the screen its showing an arrow with a USB cable towards itunes icon, and now i'm not able to do anything, i also tried to connect ipad through my laptop but no use
That message means that you have to restore the iPad now. There was a problem with the update. So connect the iPad to your computer and restore your iPad.

Or you can follow these Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad. -
i was up dateing my itunes and now on my ipod touch screen its says itunes and a picture of the lead what do i have to do
Having finally managed to update itunes to the current version in order to sort the lock screen of itunes ;logo and usb lead, i find that i dont have on the left side of itunes lists, the DEVICES heading for me to click on in order to back up/restore etc..... How do i access this..? I seem to be going around in circles and getting nowhere fast.
Is there any logical reason why the "devices" catogory wouldnt be showing..? or is there any way i can proceed manually without access to this...? HELP..... PLEASE.. THANKS...... -
hi there, I need help .. I have 2 gen ipod touch and I restore my ipod around 11:00 pm and now its 1:20 am and on my screen its the iTunes logo and the usb cord and when I plug my charger in my laptop .. iTunes comes up and this what it saids "iTunes has detected an ipod recovery mode. you must restore this ipod before it can be used with iTunes" so what do I do.. do I let my ipod died right out & then try it .. because I restore it ,... it was beening to slow... so please help me ?

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.

Changing HTML templates for Standard SRM screens!!!!!
Hello SRM gurus,
I have to modify the standard SRM PO screen. I have modified the screen and added the requirement tracking number field but on activation it gives me message to adapt the HTML template manually.
How to change HTML template assigned to the screen? Also what more needs to be done for the field to appear on the SRM portal?
I am not aware even of the transaction code to be used.
Your help will highly be appreciated and rewarded.

You need not chnage the Standard SRM screen nor the HTML template to add a custom field in the PO sceen.

There is an additional note for req tracking no not available in SC but in your case you want the field in PO so wont be relevant.

The tcode for PO is BBP_POC.If you ever need to modify the HTML template for this screen/trascn,goto SE80.select Internet service as BBP_POC.There you can see all the HTNL templates and each of which corresponds to some screen in the trascn BBP_POC(PO trascn).

Punch-out: Bringing data back to SRM screen
Hi Gurus,
I need to understand exact steps involved in Punch-out customization for a catalog.
My problem is, I can access the catalog (after maintaining respective parameters in OCI structure) but I am unable to understand the config part to bring the data back from catalog (webpage) to shoppping cart screen. I have asked my tech consultant in use the BAdI but we are still struggling to understand the logic and steps as to how data will be brought back into SRM screens.

OCI has got an interface file interface.asp (generated by catalog application) which fetches the relevant data from the catalog and transfers this data back to the EB system.
In order to send the data back to the EB system from the catalog via user's webbrowser, the return URL (HOOK_URL) parameter of the OCI structure must be inserted into the <b>Action</b> attribute of the HTML form (interface.asp) created by the catalog. Also the input parameters/fields has to be sent back to the EB system have to be syntax specific.
The parameter value for the HOOK_URL should be left blank in your call structure. It is automatically filled by EBP at runtime.

Please help! I can power the device off but when i try to unlock the screen its like it cant feel my finger tracing over my unlock design, thus I cannot sign into itunes to download what i have before I possibly loose everything My warranty is expired and I dont know if there is any other solution before I dump a bunch of money into this devise. Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

There is no such thing as a one time guarantee. Most of those stories are urban legend.
If you can somehow prove that the screen cracked due to a fault in the manufacting process, then it would be covered under the warranty. That will be pretty tough to prove, however. -

Changes not reflecting in SRM screen
Hi,
As per my requirement, I have to add a custom field in the SRM Url..Shopping cart (Ship-to address subscreen) . Hence I have added the field in the program (saplbbp_sc_ui_its) in the screen 310 and added the code in the corresponding HTML template(saplbbp_sc_ui_its_310)..in ITS---- BBPSC01
But still the changes are not reflecting in the SRM URL screen.
Please anyone suggest me do I need to do any more adjustments/changes other than these, as I am very much new to this.
Can anyone suggest me the steps to perform and get the above results.
