Have tried everything including several restores, set up as new phone. Also deleted firmware file in itunes and restored with fresh firmware all results in the same symptom. Have talked with 3 Apple tech support and no solution. Also tried another 4s 5.1.1 with stereo and it worked perfect so definately an issue with my phone not cable etc....

They are absolutely now paired after doing all you said, as I reset both the Bose Link and the Iphone. Now we have a pair, but no sound on the speaker or the iphone when they are connected. I know they are connected b/c the iphone says they are in the blue tooth setting AND the Bose has a solid blue tooth light on.
Now what? This is beyond frustrating and only happened when I UPDATED ios!

Software OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)I have a problem every few weeks where it somehow 'loses' the songs. I have them showing but when i click play nothing happens. I have to delete and redownload the song for it to play. This only happens with stuff i purchased through itunes, mp3's work fine. As an added bonus everytime i delete an album it doesn't actually remove the space so every month i have to backup and restore my ipad because it will have gigs worth of 'other data' that doesn't get deleted until i backup and restore.

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are unable to download the purchases from your purchase history, because iTunes believes the songs to be in your library. It may be necessary to delete the items from your library, then re-download from your purchase history. Before doing so, you may want to take note of which song are available for re-download:

So you have business contacts that were lost... do you not have these on a Database in some shape or form? Sounds like you need to invest in a RAID1 backup setup for your computer so you dont have this issue in the future.
As for repairing your problem, sounds like you are going to need to start from scratch at this point or if the data is still on your phone look into a program that can take the information from the phone onto iTunes. -
Why is it when I am downloading my CD's to my computer some of my music gets an explanation mark next to it.

When I can download music to my iPod some of the music downloads but I can not play it because it has this little round circle in front of it ansd the music is greyed out and not black lettering like the other songs I can play.

I take it you tried using the "right click" menu? That doesn't seem to work, as you noted, but, you should be able to paste text by pressing your CTRL key and while holding it down, press the "V" letter key.
CTRL + C = COPY
CTRL + X = CUT
CTRL + V = PASTE

Can not play any video after update to 4.4.2, it says always that i have to reconnect my HDMI Cable, reason HDCP error.
I have made some tests,
I can only view Trailers, every thing else dosn't work any more. I could not play any Video via Airplay. I tried to do it fom my IPhone 4, my IPad 1 and from my MacBook Pro 15"/i7 2 GHz/Mac OS10.7.2.
It always says the same error.
I reset the divice again and made a restore, but the same error.
I change the HDMI cable, same error.
It works fine before, I had 4.4.1 on it. I'm using a Toshiba Beamer MT700.

I can not purchase music on iTunes and nothing has changed with my computer. I get an error saying "The network connection was reset. Could not purchase." I do have internet conncection. I do not know if the reason is becouse I have the two ipods in the same camputer.is your ipod set to auto sync? if it is, you cant listen to those songs on your computer. if you want to listen to songs that are on your ipod on your computer, set it to manually sync or whatever. that should work.

i copied itunes from a pc to an external hard drive then copied it to itunes on my laptop it loaded all songs but can not play songs

I don't usually download video from the iTunes store. I had a couple of long plane rides coming up and thought I might have time to watch the Stanford IOS7 programming class. On the plane I discovered this issue which has gone unaddressed since 2011 and has been worsened in Mavericks. in 2011 the advice was to open iTunes' get info pane and click run in 32 bit. That worked at least for some people. In Mavericks, iTunes will not launch in 32 bit.

) you can click on the file in the finder and it will launch in QuickTime. For some reason on the plane I could see the first lecture in the iTunes view but, although I could see all the other lectures in the finder, I could not see the first one.
Ah well, maybe some other year I'll think about getting up to speed on ios7. Heck, maybe by then they will design a decent user experience.
