Since adding Yosemite, my bookmarks bar shows bookmarks from a different computer (my work computer). How do I fix this?

I just upgraded to Yosemite, and now I see that my bookmarks bar in Safari has all of the content from my work computer. Same with my reading list. Eeek! I want to keep these separate. How do I fix this?

It sounds like the Mac that's just been upgraded to Yosemite has Safari enabled in iCloud to sync bookmarks and the reading list.
Open System Preferences > iCloud then deselect: Safari

Suddenly some bookmark folders do not open anymore when I go under "bookmarks" if I use them in the sidebar it works. How can I fix this, it is only with 2 folders, all the other work fine.

Firefox will open up with just basic Firefox. Check and tell if its working while you are in Safe Mode.

I downloaded Safari 5.1 onto Mac OS 10.6.8 some time ago. Yesterday the back/forward arrows next to the url window changed to a , which adds the current url as a bookmark. I want the arrows back. What happened, and how can I fix this? Thanks. kammro

Right or control click the + then click Remove Item.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

is that really what it is? this is the native iphone weather app. the funny part is that when i use the actual weather channel app, it does provide it.

Do you have the option checked for ''Show Tab Previews in the Windows Taskbar''? If not, just go to ''tools->options->tabs.'' You can find more information on what each of these settings do in the Knowledge Base article [[Options window - Tabs panel]].

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
