I couldn't agree with you more. In my opinion, this forum is totally inadequate for dealing with this problem of the creative cloud causing the Photoshop touch app to crash. Adobe doesn't seem to have any trouble collecting my monthly fee for the creative cloud. It will soon be a month since this problem began for me. I find the lack of helpful information coming from Adobe to be extremely disappointing. We don't get any status report. How hard can it be to fix this problem? Adobe's total silence on any progress in this matter is reprehensible.

Did Apple fix the video quality issue in iMovie '09?
I am a casual video editor and iMovie 08 had the perfect user experience / functionality for what I want to do.
However, the known video quality issue (throwing away interlaced scan lines) made the result unacceptable since I archive our family video on DVDs. I have been forced to use iMovie HD for that reason. I have tried tricks such as converting the original DV files to AIF and deinterlace prior to import into iMovie08 but that did not seem to work either.
So does anyone know if Apple fixed the video quality issue in iMovie '09.

Please fix the video quality in iMovie09 if not already. Yes, the quality is ok for YouTube or Internet video but for those of us who want simple editing to archive our family video we cannot accept poor video quality. Dropping an interlace field effectively halves the vertical resolution. Thank you.Please explain this in more detail when you say Adaptive Deinterlacer. Are you talking about another program? If so, what program and what are the specific steps.
Also, sounds like you are recommending imovie09. By saying to do the above, are you saying imovie09 still causes you too loose significant quality like imovie08? Are you saying you can use imovie08 or imovie09 with these steps to get high quality video or just imovie09? I guess I just need more specifics on how you do what you are describing and how imovie09 fits into this versus imovie08. I joined this whole discussion trying to figure out if upgrading imovie09 made a difference regarding the whole quality issue. I know it has more features, but I am more concerned about he quality of the video right now. Thanks. -
will apple next update to help fix the location following data problems will the ipod touch 2g be included ?
Chances are the 2g itouch will not be included in the update. Also no one yet knows if it will be fixed in the next firmware but apple has said they know of this bug.

When I connect my iPhone to my PC it is not recognised and iTunes does not open. When I connect my iPod to the same PC everything works perfectly. I conclude that the problem is not on the PC or with iTunes. Switching off and rebooting the iPhone and the PC does not fix the problem. Any suggestions??

I ask because every time I did call they could not fix the problem, as in I could not send mail, I was told it was my Internet, then they tell me it is my computer. After spending many many hours on the phone with Apple, I was told I had to reload my hard drive. Which by the way takes a lot more then a few hours. The next day I found I still had the same problem. I could not send mail... I found the problem my self// I didn't have a mail box set up to send mail. How sample that was. Then the next time if I wanted to empty trash I had to turn off the computer then reset to do so. When I called tech support she tells me that is normal and they had to do the same thing every time. Well she is wrong in that if you use "empty securely" and not the one that just says empty trash then you do not have to reset or turn off your computer.... So I ask what am I paying $245.00 for? I am sure I will need support at some time, and at least it does give me someone to talk to.

FYI - there has not been a name brand consumer personal computer actually manufactered in the USA in years. Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, Apple, Samsung,... - you name it they are ALL made in China or Tiawan. Often many of those brands are being assembled by the same Chinese company in the exact same factory, pulling parts (hard drives, displays, RAM, etc) from the exact same bins. Foxconn for example, which makes iPhones and iPads for Apple, also makes dozens of other makes and models of tablets, ereaders and smart phones for other companies. Like it or not, but the consumer electronic manufactering center of the world is China.
The only consumer computers actually made in the USA these days are by local custom build companies, and it has actually been that way for many years now (I think twinhead may have been one of the last with a plant in the USA - they are still around, now GammaTech, and they still do their "final assembly" in the USA but most of thier manufacturing is done in Tiawan and Malaysia).
By and large, the USA has been out of the actual consumer electronics manufacturing/assembly business for a decade or so now. -
I have upgrade my phone to iOS7 and my company recently upgraded to Exchange 2010. My emails are not synching to my inbox. I can only see my Sent items. I have already deleted the account 3 times but this did not fix the inbox problem.
You need to have a different Apple ID for each of the other devices.

Verizon ellipsys update did not fix the app memory problem!
The Verizon update for the ellipsys did not fix the original issue with the storage of apps on the device. The update gave you the capability to move apps to your tablet space; but, the device's pre installed apps cannot be moved. Those apps take up roughly 500mb of the allotted 1gb of space.
This tablet was meant for my parents to use and they can't be sitting here umistalling and disabling preinstalled apps just to use there tablet.
Please include in the next update a reallocation of memory for more app storage space. I have already moved all available apps over to the tablet space: I have 4 gigs open on their tablet and only 200mb for apps? Crazy sauce...I called Verizon 2nd level tech support and they assured me there is NO ED06 update's said they haven't even finished rolling out ED05 yet. I think they just told you that to get you off the phone. I also have a Fascinate and have had problems and can't get them to replace my phone with a different device. I want the Droid Charge since it is the only other one that has the AMOLED screen that I originally chose the Fascinate for . They had a program that ended on July 28th the day that ED05 rolled out. They offered the Droidx, the Incredible 2, and the Droid Charge to replace the Fascinates that were having trouble. I had called to report my issues during this replacement program but was not told that it was going on and now they won't give me the Droid Charge because it has expired. I think since there are STILL issues-they need to bring this program back and allow us to get a different phone. I have been a customer of Verizon for 10 years and have 7 lines so I am REALLY disappointed that they can't work with me (or other customers ) especially since it is not something we did to the phone. It is a problem with either Verizon or Samsung. I don't know where to go from here but maybe if they hear enough from others that didn't have any success with ED05 they will start to replace them. I will probably go to a higher level to voice my concern. Let me know if anyone has any success getting a new device especially the Droid Charge.

If you have a problem with your iPhone, you need to take it to Apple or an authorized iPhone service center. Most resellers are not authorized to service the iPhone. If you'll tell us what country you're in, we can guide you to appropriate service resources. Note that the warranty on an iPhone is valid only in the country in which the iPhone was originally sold. If you are in a different country, your warranty will not be honored there.

Has Apple made any attempt to fix the 'no deleting apps on iCloud' yet? Would like this feature instead of going to Apple or having to write them to get this feature. What's the point of having an iPad if you can't manage it. You get an app you thought you'd like, but don't & now it's taking up space for another app that could be useful, if not better.
Items showing as in the cloud on app store, do not take up any spce on either your ipad or on your icloud, it is stored in the app store cloud.
The main reason to not delete is it is the history of what you have purchased, you can hide it from view if you would like.

I have an older version of Adobe Digital Editions (around 3 years old) and was very happy with it.
Then I had problems with my Kobo Reader and asked a friend who works in IT to assist. She could not fix the Kobo but she messed up my Addobe. She downloaded version three and I have an account and a password - was not able to transfer my books from my reader to version three (and I don't like the lay-out - I would prefer to stay with the old version as I also loose all my download date info..)
But all the books I have bought over the last three years are in the old Adobe Digital and I cannot access them any more. When I use it I get the message "that the document is licensed to a different account. I can't even open the books on my computer.
When I go to my Kobo library, I cannot also not open my books and get the message "this doc is protected by adobe digital rights management and is not currently authorized for use with your adobe. please sign in with your authorized adobe id and try again"
I believe the problem is that I do not seem to have a digital id for my old adobe or that the Kobo is not in sync with it anymore.
