Since downloading iOS7, I am getting a message that says "Connect to iTunes to use push notifications" every time I open an app.

Some, I can't open at all because of the error message. How do I fix this? I have tried syncing to iTunes, updating software, etc.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
It might also be a good idea to contact Square for assistance.
