It's very frustrating as it does not happen on my iPad or Iphone.

It sounds like your Mail application is not checking for mail automatically anymore after updating to 10.10.2. It seems to me that the setting for this may have reset, or changed at some point thereafter so I would check the preferences for the Mail application:
General preferences - Mail Help
Check for new messages
When Mail gets new messages from the mail server. By default, the option is set to Automatically (Mail varies how often it gets messages, based on whether your Mac is plugged into an electrical outlet).
An IMAP account may get messages more frequently if the mail server supports the IDLE command; make sure the option to use it is selected in the account’s Advanced pane in Mail preferences.
If you set the option to Manually, click the Get Mail button in the Mail toolbar to check for messages. (Whenever you click an IMAP or Exchange mailbox, it syncs with the server, and shows new messages.)

HELPtry deleting and readding your yahoo accounts. Yahoo has been upgrading their servers for months now, and have been effecting users' accounts as they do so. I have two yahoo accounts and have had each of them mess up for a day or two before they start working again.
Chances are the issue is on yahoo's end. When mine messed up I simply accessed the mail via the web and safari until it cleared up. -
Since updating to 6.1.2 emails are not showing attachments?
I have received numerous emails that are not showing PDF attachments. When checked on a PC they are there.
Any suggestions ?Try turning your phone off, wait a minute or so, then turn it back on.

Anyone know anything about getting links to open in emails? It's as though links are just not responding.. Have tried settings/general/restrictions and enabling / disabling but to no avail.
A few more things you could try:
Settings->General->Reset->Reset All Settings...you will then have to log back into your wifi network
If you have access to your router's settings you could try changing the channel your network is on.
Try changing the password/key of your router...a bit of a pain since all other devices will have to login again but sometimes it can help with connectiviity issues.

Please can someone help me.... I have tried everything and followed all the prompts but I am not winning. For some reason my photos from my phone(5s)do not download automatically onto my icloud on the pc. I have even purchased additional icloud storage...? Everything that needs to be "on" appears to be on...I dont know - I am missing something obvious?? I was under the impression that my phone would automatically download my photos to my pc - we have wifi at home so I am really confused..

I understand that want to be able to view photos on your Photo Stream on your Windows computer. Make sure the same account is signed in to the iPhone and the iCloud Control Panel on your Windows computer and the location is correct for the photos. Please use the following article as a reference.

Why are my podcast subscriptions not automatically downloading?
Some of my podcast subscriptions are not automatically downloading. New subscriptions are, but subscriptions that previously downloaded automatically no longer do so. When I re-subscribe, it does not solve the problem.

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

Since I upgraded to Lion, my photos are not attached to emails. Example: I select photos in iphoto, click Share and send the email.
Recipients tell me that there is 'nothing attached, no photo attached." Can you help?This doesn't work for me at all. I tried entering exactly the same information that I used to set up my regular email account and I'm still getting an error message. I even tried switching to using my gmail account and neither one worked. Then it got hung up and had to repair my database! I have a lot of photos on my Mac (thank goodness they're backed up) and I was really sweating it for a moment.
Apple is so easy until it's not. I find this to be really aggrevating and I'm irritated that it hasn't been fixed. In fact I did an online search and someone described this same problem in detail and it was exactly what was happening to me. Same error messages.
I'm frustrated that Apple keeps updating it's operating system and then we go through these glitches.
And while I'm at it, I have never had such a frustrating time using my login information as I have to get into this forum! Why do they make it so difficult? There's just something about the way it's worded that get's me messed up every time. Meanwhile, at least get iPhoto fixed! -

My personal emails are not downlaoding to my Iphone 5. My last update was January 8th. I keep getting a message requesting my "yahoo" password. I insert it and continue to get the same request.

Your mailserver is sometimes requesting authentication and sometimes not. The reason for that can't be found in the SAP system but in the mailserver since that is requesting the authentication.
"Webmail" is the application on top but that is not the system sending and receiving the mail.
The SAP system is out of scope here. I'd check the mail server logs why it is requesting authentication sometimes and sometimes not.

Since upgrading to iOS7 some text messages are not being sent on my iPhone 5, iMessage on my Ipads and MacBook doesn't have my phone number registered and my reminder colour on my Iphone keeps changing ... among other things. Any suggestions to fix these faults?
Make sure People Sending you via iMessage are sending their messages on your PHONE number not on your EMAIL addresses . My sister had the same problem, thats how i managed to solve it!

when trying to download yosemite it sais that i do not have enough memory. when i look at my memory use it shows that 111.00gb of space is used by movies but when i go th the movie folder it is empty. how can i remove the non existant movies.
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.
You will need a minimum of 10-12 GBs of free space to install Yosemite, however, that is a bare minimum and should be at least twice that amount. -
Images sent via email are not attachments
I upgraded to Lion and now, jpeg images sent via email are not attachments but are rather images embedded in the message. I want my attachments back!! Those I send images to are saying they can not save the files as there are no attachments. How do I fix this? Everything was fine with Snow Leopard and running a photography business has me sending images a lot. Clients used to "save" the images or "select all" because they were attachment files. Now they can only see the imbedded image that is not a file.
Also, I used to send jpeg images to my Windows 7 Phone to build my portfolio when I had Snow Leopard and now with Lion I do not have files sent to my phone but the image itself which I can't save to my phone.
HELP!Does the Control+Click work with PC's? My clients use PC's and they cant download the embedded images. One client specifically is a webmaster for a sports club I photograph at every sporting event. At the end of each event I may have 40 + photos downsized and sent to him to post on his site so each email will have 7 - 10 images.
With Snow Leopard, the images would be attached files but also imbedded images on my end. On his end, they're attached files he could just select all and save then put on the site. Now he and other PC clients are saying he can only save one image at a time. This is a lot of work and seems a bit backwards to me.
When sending to my Windows 7 Phone, the image is not embedded but shows up as an attached file which my phone then gives me the option to "save to phone". Now it's an embedded image with no options to save to phone.
I will have a look at the Attachments Tamer but it seems crazy to have to buy an app for something that seems simple to fix on Apple's end. -

In my infra there is exchange Online and also ADFS deployed in onpremise.. the Exchange Active sync is
outlook.office 365.com for any exchange online email accounts but there is some rules configured in ADFS that all the emails will routed through

email are getting downloaded in mobile devices that currently configured through Airwach MDM sultions..
but, now i have to manage the mobile device through Intune and while deploying the Email profiles Emails are note getting downloaded ,even i tried to use outlook.office365.com

I haven`t any idea to solve this issue, please guide is anything i need to configure ion ADFS rule of Intune Attributes ( that will allow mobile devices to download the emails )etc.. please suggest for solution..
Shailendra DevIntune really has *nothing* to do with the proper functionality of the e-mail client on the mobile device. All Intune does is create the profile -- what the e-mail client does with that information is up to the e-mail client.
Have you verified that the profile that Intune created is correct?
