Since few days I'm not able to sync my iPhone 5 with iTunes, what should I have to do?
No error message and nothing is happening.
But whenever I connect my phone iTunes is not detecting my iPhone.
But it works in old laptop which have old version of iTunes.
Presently I use Windows 8 OS and iTunes Version 11.1.4

There is no other way to get this sorted than to re-install windows. It may be some corrupt windows file that causes this error.
TIP- If you do not want to erase all the data on your PC reinstall windows on another empty drive thus making your computer run on dual OS's. -

Whenever i try to sync my ipod touch with itunes. I get the an error "The ipod could not be synced because the sync session failed to start".
The sync process could not be started.
I am facing these issues from the day when i upgraded my ipod touch to ios 5.0.1
itunes version on my PC: 10.5.1.42

Please let me know how can i overcome this problem.Take the old hard drive and try one of the data recovery programs like Data Rescue 3 and others.
Apple didn't in the past support re download of purchased material.
And there are so many ways to backup data, clone a drive, archive, from the free to the built-in to the more expensive.
I keep the OS on one drive, media files and data on another drive, and a good 1.5TB drive today costs $109. Paragon has backup, clone (makes a full boot drive, not an 'image' such as Acronis or Ghost) so you can use it almost like a daily or weekly mirror.
Depends on the software and data lost and cost of recovery programs and services, but it may be possible. Put the drive in a USB case perhaps and a new drive to recover the files to. -
I have a current (extensive) itunes library established years ago with an ipod classic. My email address, etc. has changed many times since then and I am not able to sync my music from my itunes to my iphone 5c. I'm sure it's due to a different email address/apple ID. How can I get them to sync so as not to have to re-purchase all of my music and podcasts?
The extensive itunes libary that was on an ipod classic likely as not came from an itunes library. The music that is on the itunes library will sync to an iphone once the iphone has been authorized through the itunes store. If it is as you say that all this music came from an 'itunes library' then there should not be an issue syncing this music to an alternate device.
If on the other hand this music came from multiple itunes libraries. It will then be a matter of logging in with each apple id login which was used when purchasing the songs to then re-downloading the songs to that specific apple id login. Once you have purchase music from the itunes store using an apple id login the music then follows the apple id virtually indefinately. -

Few days back i bought 8 ringtones from my iphone application for itunes and when yesterday I sync it with itunes all my ringtones washed off. I tried to again download the same ringtones from itunes then it again asked for payment. Why?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?

I've downloaded the newest version of softwear to my iTunes libary (iOS 10.5 i believe) iTunes store now dosn't function right and i'm not able to sync. my iPod 4G with my libary. i've tried to reinstall iTunes, but for no use. help please.
well i have to be honest, but i don't know if it the vista you use has any significance for this. but you can try.
okay follow:
1: click "start" on the status line on the buttom of your screen.
2: then click on "all Programs" and find "Accessories" and find the "command prompt"
3: Right click with your mouse "command prompt" and click on "run as administrator"
(as you has click'd on "run as administrator", "command prompt" should appear.)
4: when it appears you need to type this "netsh windsock reset"
5: wait for your computer to registrer the command you gave it, and restart your computer.
then erverything should be pretty much as good or better then new. -

You cannot sync Outlook 2011 directly with an iPhone, but if you go to the Tools menu and choose Sync Services, you can have Outlook sync with iCal and Address Book, which will then sync with the iPhone. And if your business is using Microsoft Exchange, you can set the iPhone up to communicate and sync directly with the Exchange server.

I am not able to sync my iphone 4s to my itunes because my mac software is not up to date. What do I need to do?
Is this a brand new phone? If it is, which iTunes version does it say it requires (see side of box)?
With a Mac running 10.5.8 you can install the last version of iTunes 10.6

An older iPhone 4S should work with the above but if it is a brand new one I don't know. If the box says it requires iTunes 10.7 then you will have to upgrade to OSX 10.6.8 at least in order to run iTunes 10.7. You provide no information about your computer hardware so I can't tell you if this is even possible.
1) Make sure your computer meets Snow Leopard technical specifications - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575 This mostly means making sure it is an Intel Mac and has at least 1GB RAM (more is recommended). To check RAM, go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Now continue to "More Info...". It should say you have at least 1GB of "memory".
2) Apple no longer carries 10.6 in its stores or online. Telephone Apple to purchase a Snow Leopard disc. In the USA: (800) 676-2775 (contact information for other countries: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57)
Alternatively you can buy from online retailers but anticipate paying much more than the original price which is the price still charged by Apple
3) Backing up your computer before upgrading is always a good idea.
4) After installing from the DVD, update your Snow Leopard installation using Software Update or manually downloading and installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v.1.1 - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399 -
My iTunes is not able to sync the iPhone 4. I'm using windows 7 32bit. At the first step it gets stuck refelcting backing up the phone then nothing happens for ages. I'm using the latest iTUnes version, does anyone have similar prob??? There are no error codes which appear and the iTUNES just gets hanged, is there a solution?
Remove the song in question from the sync list and see if the rectifies the problem.
If it does, then iTunes believes the song no longer exists on your drive and that will need to be corrected. -
My PC is not getting authorized & I am not able to sync my I pad with my PC any more nor Im able to install any app. I recently reinstalled my windows. Please help. I tried authorizing with my ID but it still shows the message computer is no longer authorized.

Any new info about being able to sync my iphone 4 with the Palm Desktop on macs running snow leopard? Why doesn't someone take a a few hours and write a workaround so I can sync all my info including my Palm notes to my iphone via Palm Desktop without putting it in the clouds or making it complicated? : (
I feel your pain. I am a long time user of Palm Desktop/Claris Organizer and have an iPhone that I really can't sync except by doing an export and import into iCal, etc. You might try Missing Sync. I have been working intermittently with writing a replacement for Palm Desktop, but I've only gotten as far as dumping out the information for everything (except repeating appointments) as an XML file.
