Since GW 7.0.3 unable to get documents into remote mailboxes

I have the following problem.
Some users have remote access to the mailbox and library. If a new
document is created the link to the document is correctly created in
the remote mailbox. If the user tries to open or view this document he
is prompted to download it from the master mailbox. If he does this,
the document never arrives in his remote mailbox. The activity log on
the master copy of the document shows "version downloaded to remote"
but the file itself cannot be found anywhere in the remote mailbox.
Old documents, which where created earlier are viewable and open-able,
but they are not updated if the master copy changes - it is only
possible to update the master copy with changes from the remote copy.
Before updating POA and clients to 7.0.3 it seems to have worked.
Anybody having simlar issues - or a solution for this?

Update: This is only true for TCP/IP (Client/Server) connections to the
master mailbox. If the connection is changed to direct (file-system
access) everything works as it should. But I would prefer not to have
to use the direct access method for updating remote mailboxes.

XL Reporter error"'Report initialize:unable to get document"

Does excel 2010 compatible on XL Reporter? If yes, can some give me idea on how work on it?
coz we install office 2010,I already enabled the macros and check the 'trust access to the vba project oblect model on the trust center of excel. When we tried to run the XL Reporter it gives error Ilike this

To Manvendra, I got the error when trying to run a report. I can open XL Reporter but unable to generate any report

We run tools 8.44 and Enterprise Portal 8.8. There are some paglets created on the Portal as well including a payadvice pagelet for the users to look up their pay information. Pay information comes from the HCM DB. What we notice from time to time is that when logging in to the Portal, the pay advice pagelet will not display and gives "Error getting Content".
I check the app and web logs and they come back with "Failed to load URL: http://server1.domain.ca/psc/environment/EMPLOYEE/EMPL/s/WEBLIB_EO_PE_LN.ISCRIPT2.FieldFormula.IScript_EPP_NAV_PAGELET in the Portal registry. In fn CPortalRegistry::FindLogicalURL in file e:\pt84406b-retail\peopletools\..\peopletools\SRC\psoftapi\portalregistry.cpp

What's my upgrade? I cannot find one. Do I have to pay full price for a version that will work?

Your version of Acrobat is quite old and not compatible with any current OS, so problems are to be expected. It is too old to qualify for an upgrade as well, so if you want the current version (XI) then you need to purchase a new license, which you can do via the Adobe Products Page.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Since FF 10, I am unable to download documents if there is a comma in the file name. Is there a work around for this?

I use Firefox for work, and one of the intranet pages I use has Word and Excel documents with commas in the file name. When I click on the link to download the file, the download pane flashes open, then closes and the document I am trying to download does nothing.

Try a right-click on the link to the file and use Save Link As... and rename that file to get rid of the comma - like make it a blank space or change the comma to a hyphen.

XL Reporter = Error! Unable to get document! Type: 1

I don't know if you all got this fixed or not, but I did just get an actual solution from my SAP Support folks here in Ireland.
Create a file on the XL Reporter Executable folder (e.g "C:\Program Files\SAP Manage\SAP Business One\AddOns\XLR\XLReporter\Client\"
called "SBOXLReporter.exe.config" (very important that the typei is .config, not .txt, etc, make sure Folder View is set correctly)
Edit it and put this in:

          <supportedRuntime version="v1.0.3705"/>
          <requiredRuntime version="v1.0.3705"/>

then save it.
Then load up SAP and XL Reporter works - with .NET 2.0 Apparently, XL Reporter is not even a .NET app - but it somehow relies on the .NET FW 1.1, the config file forces it to use the 1.1 interfaces instead of 2.0

to avoid confuse the whole issue I type this at the points:
what is broken: create a report (export to Excel);
domain: 2003 SBS Premium;
OS: 7 Pro 64 (local session) and 2003 SBS Premium (RDP session);
updates: last (all);
.NET: all frameworks + updates;
account permissions: all permissions: local and domain Administrators group;
Excel: 2010 for home and office and 2003 Basic Ed.;
Excel`s settings: all security things disabled, macros and activex stuff enabled without promt;
main hint: during SAP installation, SAP says "Microsoft Excel is required but not installed. The Excel reporting feature will not work" (everytime WAS installed);
hint: affects all PCs and RDP`s session except one and user is not an admin (idk why it works)
did I reinstall SAP: yes, error with "no excel here" remains.
did I reinstall Excel: yes.
the problem starts: last sunday. Before that everything worked .. maybe "new" update for Office made it.
I talked to my SAP headoffice and they said: XL Reporter likes to fall, it is sensitive application. LOL.
Does anyone know how to fix it or had this problem?

You haven't mentionned what version & patch you are on, but Office 2010 is not supported until quite recently, although it does work.
The reason for the message is that the installation does not recognise the 2010 file formats.
Have you tried running SAP using Run As Administrator, to see if that works?
When you uninstalled & reinstalled the client, did you delete the SAP Business One folder?

Anyone have problems w the charger not fitting into the jack anymore? Or grainy pictures when u try to take a pic of yourself?

The charger plugs into a wall socket so I have no clue what you are talking about. The USB to dock connector cable rums from the iPad to the charger. I have no problems at all with it.
The iPad photos will be grainy when taken in low light. They will look like crap.

TS2621 I jusCt changed my mobile me account password and now it will not get me into my mailbox . What do I do.

I forgot my password to mobile me as it rejected what I thought was my password so I went to the link and changed my password,going through the mail me a how to change my mobile me password. I received by by second email account a notice to follow the link and make up a new password and I did all of that.
Them I went and changed via the mail settings the new password and it would not accept that pw. And would not allow me to continue any settings and would not accept the change of password. So what now .

Unable to get IP address from DHCP since upgrading

Hi all,
I upgraded my machine to Mountain Lion last night. Ever since then I have been unable to get any IP information using DHCP. Each time I hit Renew Lease within the Network control panel I just get back a self assigned IP address. If I look in the system logs I see the following generated each time my machine tries to look for the DHCP server:

I've tried rebooting, clearing the PRAM, deleting Prefs, etc, but nothing seems to have worked.
Anyone any ideas what is going on or what else to try? It used to work perfectly before I upgraded.

I am also having this problem since I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I did an upgrade from Lion, not a clean install. I had done a clean install of Lion though. In my case, the network connection is working most of the time, but it is droping one a day. Deactivating the Ethernet and the Wi-Fi adapters and reactivating them does not help.
Here is my what I am getting in the console when I have lost internet connection and I try to renew the DHCP lease:

XRL Unable to connect to XL Reporter. Cause:Enable to get Document!

I make one upgrade from SAP 2005 to SAP 2007 PL47. Now I have one issue with XL Reporter. When i try to run XLR i have the following error.
Unable to connect to XL Reporter.
Error! Server communication Failed!
Cause! Enable to get Document!
Type:36
Cause:The XML document must have one upper level.
Someone can tell me what should have the file MetaInfo.xml, since I do not have any information in that file.
I Wanted to solve this problem without having to make the upgrade to PL49.

The only XML file that i have in the folder (MetaInfo.XML) don´t have any information.
I think this file have the connection string to SQL.
