Since I have downloaded the latest version of ITunes, I get a message that my MobileMe is no longer active when I open my Microsoft Outlook.

Upon doiwnloading the latest itunes I've noticed that my downloads stall in the same place. I have been stuck in the same loop for hours no matter what I do. I think that ome or a couple of downloads have me stuck because I keep goihg back to the same download. I recently had trouble updating my itunes, when I did do it I kept getting an error message and because of that I had to uninstall everything than reinstall itunes. But since then my iphone, ipad, and ipod are not really syncing correctly. My PC says its going through the steps and applying everything but when I got to my phone nothing is updated at all. Nothing is being applied and I did the run diagnostics as well and it said that everything was fine. When I got what is on this phone it says the playlists are on my phone but when I go to the music app on my phone the playlists aren;t there at all. I've gone through all my settings on my computer and iphone and they are all what they should for the songs to transfer correctly and it still isn't working.
So, in iTunes, when you look at the shuffle's content (in the sidebar) and click on the playlist under the shuffle, over to the right, the songs are in your desired order, correct? Where do you look, or what do you do, that indicates the playlists are in alphabetical order? Are you saying that when you play the songs while using the shuffle, they play in alphabetical order?
If so, when you listen to the songs on the shuffle, are you using the playlist, or are you using the All Songs list? If you are in the default All Songs list, with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order (the middle position), the songs play alphabetically, I believe.
The 3rd gen shuffle uses VoiceOver. If you are in the All Songs list, you need to use VoiceOver to switch to the playlist (see manual linked below for details). When you are in the playlist (with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order), then the songs should play in playlist order.

I downloaded the latest itunes and now all of my music from my CDs are gone. What happened?
After I downloaded the latest itunes (10.4.1.10) I went to go use it. What I found was all of my songs I downloaded from my CDs were there, but when I clicked them it said : The song "..." could not be used because the original file could not be found. I have over 200 songs downloaded and I don't want to go and have to reload all of them. Is there anything I can do? And why did this happen?
You should be regularly backing up. Sometimes things get corrupted. Have you located the files in the iTunes folder to check them? I've never had an issue with updates, but it's always a good idea to take precautions. If you don't have a backup then a reload may be necessary, bear in mind it's currently US only.

When I start iTunes, how do I get rid of the message "To use this machine for downloads, enter you Apple ID and password" which I now see twice since I downloaded the latest version of iTunes. Once is enough and no checkbox exists to say "do not show this message....."

I am trying to download the latest iTunes update; keep getting error message that says "The folder path 'My Documents' contains an invalid character". This also happens when I try to uninstall iTunes. HELP!
OK, never mind! I saw another question on the right side that addressed the problem, and it worked perfectly! Went to Major Geeks' page, downloaded the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, and was able to reinstall the updated version of iTunes! This community is super!

I cant get my Nano to sync to my computer. It is new and and I downloaded the latest Itunes last week. I hit sync and it makes a sound within a second and then says it is done. What can I check?

I just downloaded the latest itunes update 11.1 for windows 7 and now when I try to open itunes with the shortcut on my desktop I get this error message: "The item 'itunes.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly." I can't open itunes at all. Is there anything I can do or is there a problem with the new update?
Start > Programs = Firefox
Does that shortcut work?
If so, delete the current shortcut that is in the Quick Start tray and drag the one that is in Start > Programs down there. -

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".

If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process. -
