Since I have installed IOS7.1.1 You Tube keeps crashing the minute I type in the search bar.

I'm assuming you are using the YouTube app.
Quit the app like this. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
Then try again. If the problem persists delete the YouTube app, reset your iPad like I describe below and then download the app again again.
To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.

Since i have installed ios7 my phone randomly restarts and the battery always seems to stick to a percentage and does not show the real percentage until it resets. Hi thanks for your reply, I will try this again and let you know but I think it is going to have to be an appointment with apple which is very annoying considering all that I have done is upgraded to this new iOS7 and had nothing but problems.

Help, Help, are there someone knowning how to synchronize events and contact without passing throught by iCloud ? I have this regression since I have installed Maverick and IOS7

My problem was solved. It was a hardware damage. I discovered it with a magnifying glass with light. The 32-pin connector in my iPad 2 had the last upper right pin bended over!.
My iPad is three years old and I haven't subscribed to Apple Care so, before sending it to the Apple Service, I tried to fix it myself by placing the pin it in its place carefully with a needle and cleaning the connector, and it worked!. Now I can use my iPad 2 with iOS7 and the Apple VGA connector for video mirroring as before. I guess the 32-pin connector in my iPad 2 just broke down before I upgraded to iOS7.
So, if you have problems with video mirroring with iPad 2 and iOS 7 and it is not solved after tighten connections and turning your iPad 2 off and on again, then check for hardware problems in:
1 - The iPad 2 32-pin connector.
2 - The VGA adapter device.
3 - The VGA cable.
4 - The projector itself.

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

You may need to force close all open apps, then restart the phone. If necessary, you may need to reset the phone after that.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

If you just did upgrade Lion, give it some time. I recall having similar problems and some articles mention heavy background work after install - such as re-indexing for Spotlight etc. I couldn't even copy from folder to folder or e.g. iphoto to folder on the same disk. Went away after a day or two though.
I do however still have a problem with AFP access to one of the lion machines - kills it's network adaptors rather quickly. No luck solving this so far :|

Photos in Photo Library are the ones that you've synced from your iTunes to your iPad. To free up space, you should delete these photos on your Photo Library since you already have the copies on your computer: Connect your iPad with your computer > Launch iTunes > click your iPad and navigate to Photos window > check Sync Photos from > select an empty folder and click Apply to carry out the syncing. After then, all photos in your Photo Library will be deleted.
As for photos in Camera Roll on your iPad, you should copy them to your computer for backup and deleted the copies on your iPad:Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
If you have an optical drive, make sure there is no disc in it.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Post the messages logged during the time something abnormal was happening. Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the most recent one, if any. If you haven't already done so, you might want to go to control panel>uninstall, right-click on iCloud on the programs list and select Repair. Then restart your PC and try photo stream again. If that doesn't resolve it, try uninstalling iCloud and reinstall the latest version from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455.
