This is a bug in Firefox 9 on Mac OS that will be fixed in a future Firefox release. Ref:

Hi KiltedTim, as a newbie to Apple, iphones and forums I would appreciate an explanation of the 'Trolls and Mods' comments on your posting. I presume the Mods are Apple sentinels but am I really a Troll just because I made a criticism of the new iOS version (even though I did not know I was actually doing that). Am I a Troll to you because you personally disapprove of criticism of the new iOS or is Troll used by the community to describe anyone who speaks up if they are not happy about a change. Please understand that by asking these questions it is not my intention to be confrontational (I’ve been called far worse than a Troll over the years) but as I’m new to the group an insight into the politics may be beneficial. Upgraded to newest version of Firefox all the links were broken, it will not open in Safe Mode or anywhere else-before I uninstall it I'd like to access save my user names and and passwords from websites- can i access them without opening the browser

You can save a copy of your passwords file, but I don't think you can open it without Firefox.
Your passwords file is in your profile folder. You might want to make a backup copy of the whole folder. Info on locating the folder: [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles Profiles | How to | Firefox Help].
You may want to try reinstalling Firefox 3.6. You can download the installer from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older

The only way I can open a link in a new tab is if I right click a link and select "open in a new tab" in the dropdown menu, but ctrl + click is so much easier and faster. Any clue how to fix this?

Some other users have fingered the Ask toolbar as the cause of this problem. You can try disabling or removing it here:

Since I updated to firefox 3.6 I keep gettin multiple popup windows. This did not happen until after the update. The popups appear as regular windows so popup blockers can not stop them.

Im having the same problem, I updated my Iphone 4S to 6.1.3, shortly after that my phone had no audio. It was working fine one minute and then stopped. Was listening to music when sound gave out on me. It wont ring, phone just vibrates even after turning off vibration option. I've tried all the options listed and nothing. My phone has never been jailbroken either. If I connect the earphones is works perfectly. On one of my last calls received, phone's ringtone was heard for about 2 seconds before muting and just vibrating. Ringtone sounded perfect, speakers did not sound damaged.
What else could be done? I've read several post regarding this and it seems like Apple has no solution to this yet. Very dissappointed.

When I click on the short I get the message "windows cannot find [then the web address] make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search." I tried deleting the shortcut and setting it up again but still get the message.

Try to redo the default browser and make another browser like IE the default browser and then let Firefox do it again.

(kensingtonconcertseries.com),.....then my client wanted to change
the name of one of his pages from 'Marold Duo' to
'Rodewald-Morebello Duo.' All of my links to that page are to the
original page(MaroldDuo.html). Arrrhhhhh!!! Is there anyway I can
change the name of the page and have all the links within the
website update automatically?
I figured out my problem...make a copy and rename it and put
it on the server. Simple....eventually, I'll have to get rid of the
original file, but for now works well.

offer to

There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically. 
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server. 
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.

So make sure that you keep the cookies from those sites via an allow exception and that you do not clear the cookies or site preferences via "Clear Recent History".

Placing a PDF with hyperlinks/buttons into InDesign and retaining all the link/buttons after reprece

I got a PDF file that has multiple links/buttons and I'm placing into an InDesign CS2 document with other items and then exporting out as another PDF for a digital edition magazine. I want to retain all the links/button once I export?

I doubt that will work. But it should be easy enough to find out. If you
print to pdf from ID, I guarantee is will not work. If you export from
ID, I doubt it will work, but ask in the ID forum, since the creation
does not depend upon Acrobat.

First, I would try this and see if it applies to your situation:
To use certain services, iTunes must download and install an authentication token on the device. Because iPad and iPod touch do not require an active Internet connection to activate, these tokens may not be downloaded and installed during initial setup.
You can resolve this issue by verifying that iTunes has an active Internet connection. Use the following steps:
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
Verify that your Mac or PC has an active Internet connection by accessing the iTunes Store in iTunes.
Connect your iPad or iPod touch to your Mac or PC.
After the sync completes, verify you can access YouTube.
Note: iTunes 9.1 or later is required when using iPad.

It's very frustrating and I don't understand why it happens. It might happen other times, but I notice it the most when I'm streaming the radio through itunes, though I think it's also happened when I'm streaming music or shows from NPR, so I don't actually know if it's an itunes thing, or an internet thing? Or just my computer being stupid? But how can I fix it?

My best guess at this point is a problem wwith 10.5.8
It seems clear to me that sometimes, seemingly randomly, software will access the video card (flash player, quicktime, Safari's HTML5 video player, etc) and it will cause a freeze and then log out.
However - it could just be video card + processor under load.
This didnt happen before 10.5.8 and I'm thinking it's not the new 27" display causing the issue.
I'm going to attempt to find time to revert back to 10.5.0 and then combo update back up to 10.5.7 which may be difficult as our IT is remote and we don't have access to Snow Leopard discs.
I may just have to bring my own in.

I uninstalled the new QT version, and reinstalled the old QT 7 but the Pro functions were still unavailable, so , I had to reinstal Windows to get my Pro functions back. This happened quite a while ago, but every time I get the "Update" message, I am afraid to launch it.

All I can say is that the problem you experienced is not by design but was instead some sort of technical fault, either in QuickTime or in Windows. I've upgraded QuickTime for Windows a number of times, to various new versions of QuickTime 7, and it's never removed my Pro key. My guess, and this is strictly a guess, is that something corrupted the preference file where the Pro key is held, disabling the Pro features and not allowing you to re-enter your key. Since you reinstalled Windows, I would expect that future updates to QuickTime will go without problem, and if for some reason the Pro features are ever removed, re-entering your Pro key should get them back.
