Since I updated to iTunes 11.0, I can no longer manage my photos, contacts! When I sync my phone or iPad back to my computer the info is there, but I can't organize to sync the folders that I want on my iPad and iPhone. What do I do.

I can no longer organize anything in iTunes but music since upgrading to 11.0. My photos are caught in limbo, I can sync and all end up on my computer as it should. However, there is no way to send back to the iPad the proper folders for customers it s all in the camera roll. Contacts are array. What do I do.

Removed. Re-synced. Still not working. Factory reset the phone, re-installed music... made a GIANT "Other" file instead of actually adding any songs.
Factory resetting again. Any other solutions?
EDIT: If It helps, I'm doing this all over USB connection, not trying to sync music through wifi or anything.

The image is there but is invisible. same issue when I want to draw a line. Impossible to color the line and when I increased the thickness, it was creating a sort of wrap around the shape. have you ever encountered this kind of issue ? Thanking the community for his help.

The documents are there but I can't see the writing?

So today I had more memory put into my computer (Apple authorized dealer, but not the Apple Store) and when I got home I opened Pages and although all my files/documents were there, I can't read anything. They appear as blank pages.
What happened? And more importantly what can I do? This is 5 years of work for me and I have a big presentation in the morning. (Yeah, I'm really sick about this )

The Combo updater should fix most of your problems.
The Pages icon on the dock is not the application, it is only pointing to it.
Use Spotlight (top right corner) to search for Pages. Have you looked in your trash in case it was accidentally moved there?
You can install [iWork '09 trial|http://www.apple.com/iwork/download-trial] which will be good for 30 days, to get on with your work. Pay for it any time you like.

I bootup to a white screen with mavericks. The cursor is there but I can't do anything.

I have recently installed Mavericks. When I boot up it sometimes boots to a white screen with just the cursor visible. I can move the cursor but can not do anything else. Any suggestions?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

It had not been used for awhile and most of the songs that were on there were gone when I turned it on. I was trying to sync to update the library.

Weeks, months, years? It's possible your battery is dying. Take the iPod Nano to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

same problem. Im using itunes version 10.6.3, I converted wavs burnt from cd, to mp3 using itunes, these were NOT PURCHASED from itunes, and when I try to burn an mp3 cd using the new mp3 files, they convert to wavs before my eyes every time i create a new playlist of the mp3. The mp3 revert to wav within less than 30 seconds. As if itunes is saying, let me help, I substitute the higher quality 1411 wav files for you. And of course, now they wont burn to mp3, because "they must be converted to mp3 first" before burning.
But every list of the mp3 version of the files keeps reverting to 1411 wav files?

Is there any way also to add my pictures to the ipad other than through email. i am assuming that i can't just install itunes on the laptop and sync to that. I have been told that i always have to sync to my original synced home computer for that.

Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.

I have Just started to get the above message pop up since i updated to iTunes 11.0.1. I am running OSX 10.8.2 and its all up to date. I dont want to didable the firewall un less i have to. I have check to see if iTunes is in the list and it set to allow all in coming connections. Have tryed to re-install iTunes but still not joy dont really want tohave to re-install everything if there is an easy way to stop other than turning off my firewall
