Since I updated to the new OS7, none of my devices will sync to Itunes...iTunes states I need to update to version 11.1 and yet I am totally up to date to IO7.02 on all these devices (iPad, iPadMini, iPhone5). What is the solution to this?
As noted in my question, I have multiple portable apple devices, all of which are upgraded to iOS7.02. When I try to sync them to iTunes, I get a message stating I need to update them to iTunes 11.1. This process is another frustrating, non-intuitive process by Apple. Please help.
That message is telling you to update iTunes on your computer, not your phone. You need iTunes 11.1 on your computer in order to sync your devices.

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard. -
My IPad 2 external speaker does not work and the original headphones have popping sound when used. This all occurred at the same time as my IPhone and IPod headphones only plays mono (and no, the "mono" option is not on) with the original headphones, as well as, other headphones tested. How can there be audio issue for all these devices at the same time?
As you may have noted from the list of Apple devices I own, I believed in the Apple and the products it was producing; but it is hard to believe from my experience and the other voices within the Apple Community that we are all experiencing the same hardware issues. Especially since I recently, I upgraded to an IPhone 4g (no, my faith in IPhone 5 series is very little) and is experiencing the same audio problem as described above. So now, I am off to the Apple store again to be told that it’s a hardware problem on new IPhone. Really? Apple, what happen to the pride in the product you were producing?Everyone does things a little differently. I love to "jam " along with iTunes ( or old Lp's) . Always have. That's where/how I've learned to play .
I'm sure leonieDF is giving a proper way to jam along on a keyboard with an iTune. He blows my mind all the time with what he knows. Nuff respects to him !
What I do is make a GB project I call "Jam With". I'll make several new tracks that are blank. Just has a few instruments named in the blank tracks. You can change those per song ...
Because I'm not concerned about changing the pitch / key.... of the iTune or the tempo ... I can simply play along with it.

I downloaded the new os7 on my ipad mini. Now in order to use the Ipad, I need to enter a passcode. I cannot get pass this screen. I did
not set it up to use a passcode. What can I do? I am not too computer savy.I have the same problem. I upgraded to iOS7, entered my usual passcode when prompted in setup, and when I tried to access my iPad after installation was finished it denied my passcode. I can't connect to any internet to erase it or anything because the new iOS hasn't yet been configured to a wifi network, so I can't backup from anything either.
When I connect the iPad to iTunes, it tells me that Find My iPad must be disabled on my iPad before backup or restore can continue - and I can't access anything beyond the lock screen of my iPad at all because it refuses to accept my passcode, so I can't get to Find My iPad. -

I cannot figure out how to set my apple id to use: itunes (two of accounts), apps store and itunes store. How do I make one password that will be recognized by all these devices? My apple id is constantly not working.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

I don't have enough storage space on my iPhone 4S to download the new OS7 so how do I save it to iCloud and remove it from my iPhone to make room but not loose the deleted stuff from iCloud?
You can't use iCloud like that. It isn't a general file storage service; it's designed to sync data across your devices.
Some options are to sync all your music or other media off your device, then sync it back on after you update. Another is to import your photos to your computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then sync them back to your phone after you update by putting them in a folder, then selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing. -
updated to the new os x mavericks, now i'm having problems with my keychain access...everytime i asked to log in but when i do, it says can't find login items even if i reset it. what should i do?
Did you install the latest driver set for the device? there is a new release on motu.com for mavericks.

i have a ipod touch 2g and after a restore none of my apps will restore because it says that i need a newer version of the ipod software to run them they all work fine till i did the restore . is there any way to get them back ?
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to your new one.

I still have ilife '09. How can i update to the new ilife? Do i have to pay for each app seperately in order to update?
I am an Aperture user and I am tired of managing my old iphoto library seperately. In order to use the new combined aperture/iphoto abilities i need a newer version of iphoto. Apple says that the new iphoto is free, however my iphoto (version 8.1.2) did not update. How do i update iphoto so that i can use the library with Aperture?iPhoto, iMovie and Garageband are free. iWork is not as it's an upgrade and not an update. Upgrades for iWork have always had to be purchased. However, the previous iWork apps will work fine with Mavericks.

Go to Solution.Two of the most popular new features are Mobile Hotspot and Radio Tuner. It would appear that not every version of OS 7.1 includes both so I'm going to guess the OP is referring to one of these. It's dependant on which version you download.

i just uploaded the new os7 software. i like it. however my podcasts seem to be hidden and for the life of me, i can't find them. i was looking in the music icon. please help me feel less stupid:)
Got to settings/general/spotlight search and tick podcasts. Then when on the home screen if you swipe down from the middle of the screen the spotlight search window appears and you can search for podcasts
