Since performing the latest update I can no longer use more than three displays.
Does anyone know of a fix for the problem where you can only run 3 monitors? I was running 4 displays before the update but now only three can run. Apple support recognizes the problem but does not have a answer. Anybody else haveing this problem?

since installing the latest update on my iphone 3gs this afternoon whatsapp now says it cannot access my photos. I have gone to settings-location services- but whatsapp is not listed in the list below. Please help!!!!

There is no logical expectation for Whatsapp to be listed under location services or for that to have any affect on what the app can access. -
since installing the latest update, Firefox first operated with some errors but now will not load at all; it gives me the following error --

please note that the words "utton ID" are exactly as the error message gives it; and at the end of the message there are exactly 19 hyphens.
I don't know why this faulty code is referencing things to do with "chrome"... the Chrome browser is not installed on this PC or anywhere on our network.
Also, this is not the first problem I had after clicking Firefox's prompt for the latest update. Before Firefox retreated into this error message, it was loading but running with some faults...
1. the bookmark symbol was not appearing on the right hand side of the URL line, so I had always to click on "bookmark this page", after which the bookmark symbol did appear; however I don't know if the bookmarking function worked properly.
2. the back and forward buttons were not highlighted, as if I had not come from a previous page; so once I clicked on a link to a new page I could not go back to where I came from because Fiefox thought I hadn't come from anywhere.
3. there may have been other errors, but I did not find them.
How do I reinstate my Firefox program to work properly please? do I have to download the latest version and reinstal? if so, do I have to remove the old version first? or is there a fix?
Even to write this message I have been forced to use (yuk -- I don't like to say this!!!) Internet Explorer. So please -- I need help urgently.

NOELSome how I solved my problem by opening a user account and downloading Firefox 4.0 beta and installing it, I did try it, worked fine, so I did close the user account and did go back to my own account(switched user), the main page that I had problem with Firefox which would not open, I dabble click on Firefox it start working again!! I hope that solves your problem too.

i tried to install the latest update on my ipad. i get an image which says I tunes with a cord to plug in. it is on a black background.. it has been like this for three hours now. if i turn it off and then on again that is the only page that appears. i am stuck. please can anyone help me? thanks.
It's too bad you lost stuff. I would recommend that you back stuff up before the next one. For example, iOS8 will be out sometime this fall. Just in case you experience the same thing again, do a backup before you do the update.

Ever since installing the latest iTunes 10.4 update, I've been having trouble playing purchsased videos. When I try to play them, they open in an unseen new window and after a couple of seconds of audio, iTunes crashes and has to close. There isn't something wrong with the videos as they play fine on my iPod and I have played most of them before, but they just won't play in iTunes suddenly.

I installed the latest update of Photoshop CC two days ago on my Macbook Pro, and now when I try to do focus stacking by opening multiple photos and doing Auto Align and Auto Blend, the blend selects the entire bottom layer instead of selecting the in-focus areas from each layer. I even tried again on a series of images where this worked a week ago and the problem occurs. I have Photoshop on a Windows 8 machine and did not apply this latest update and it works fine. Has anyone else encountered this?
And since installing this same update, my Photoshop is crashing just after starting.

Ali from french Adobe support told me to delete my Settings files, but it was not enough.
A girl with no name from the same team told me to update my video card driver, but you know I run the latest Mac OS X version and everything is updated, mademoiselle.
Stephane sent me a link to a huge page of things to do :
- Troubleshoot account-specific fonts, but there wasn't any corrupted font
- Delete account-specific Adobe cache files but... guess what...
- Troubleshoot account-specific login items but... yes, that's it, I can see you understand me
- Reset the access settings on the user account's Library folder... oh god, that was fun, I used the Terminal and sudo commands
I did all of these things because when I tried to open PhCC in an other admin session, it worked, so that was an incompatibility between my session and PhCC. But, but, but, when I tried again to lauch the app in the second session, it worked fine but refused to quit. Ha ha ha.
So you can try to delete your Settings files. I wish it'll work for you. If not you can try the long list above... or hope a better answer from the support.
I didn't change anything but Photoshop on my session and they ensure that the bug is due to my session and not to their update. Strange affair.

After the latest itunes update I can no longer see my iPhone listed on the left column. How can I get to the section where I can pick & choose apps etc to be synced?
Also I had to get a new iPhone & so I backed up the night before to the cloud & my computer. When I tried to restore from back up with the new phone my back up wasn't there - shouldn't it be automatic via wifi from the cloud?

Since installing the latest update firefox stops responding and hangs during use.
The only way I can get it to work is to shut it down and restart the application. I can open IE and access the sites which don't respond so it is definately a firefox problem. All firefox tabs stop responding including downloads. This is occurring every 2nd or 3rd page I open. Help - it's driving me insane!

If you're using 10.6 (as your post says) then there are no "latest software updates". If you're not using it, then you need to tell us what version of the OS you have, what updates you downloaded and how you access "UTUBE" and AOL

Since I installed the latest version, my sessions no longer get saved when I shut Firefox down
Prior to shutting down a session, I used to be given an option to save my settings, and my settings would be restored for the next session. This no longer happens.
The session is saved you just are not asked about it.
If you start from the default home page you will see a big button in the middle of the screen asking you if you wish to restore the previous session, otherwise use '''*Firefox button -> History -> Restore previous session''' -

I forgot to mention but I run on a windows 7 64bits os.
However, I uninstalled and installed again several times, nothing is getting better.
- java -version is not recognized, but this tool detects my version : http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp
- In java console, proxy are disabled and I tried to clear the cache --> no improvements
- I did not tried 1.5 only 1.6 but several updates. No improvement either.
Is someone accessing ESR/ID from windows 7 64bits ?
Is there any other tools to install appart from JRE ?
