Since Ios 7 Update of my iPhone 5 I can not log into any WLAN any more - who can help to solve this major problem

Hi all,
I updated my iPhone 5 recently to IOS 7 - Since then I do not get any access to my home WLAN / WIFI with the iphone 5.
At same time the iphone 3S and IPAD 1 of my wife (both IOS 5.x) still work fine in our homes WLAN / WIFI.
Who can help to get my Iphone 5 with IOS 7 back to work in the home WIFI ?

Try this first.
On the iPhone go to Settings > General > Reset and select Reset Network Settings.
This will erase all saved wi-fi networks and settings.
If no change after this, try resetting your modem and wireless router. Disconnect the router from the power source followed by disconnecting the modem from the power source. Wait a few minutes followed by powering your modem back on allowing it to completely reset before powering your wireless router back on allowing it to completely reset with the modem.

    If the place of purchase does not have a 'Lemon' policy (three replacements = refund or complete exchange), sadly you are out of luck.
    And Apple themselves do not have any power over what policy a reseller uses. You can call Apple Care and have them replace it, but the odds are you would probably get a standard replacement again like has previously happened. I'm pretty sure Apple holds their own sort of 'Lemon' polocy where if it's been replaced three times through them they'll swap it out for a brand new phone. Not 100% sure though, best bet is too call them again.
    And it ***** getting a response like that from their support personel, but hey, they can't all be that bad can they? I'm sure if you plead your case they'll try and help out. I've dealt with them in the past and had one or two people that rubbed me the wrong way, but most of them have been a great help and kept me a happy customer, haha.

  • I can not log into iCloud

    Please help - I've upgraded to ML 10.8 (and also 10.8.1) and i can not log into icloud.
    I get an error saying "You can not log in at this time".  I have no hair left on my head because I've pulled it all out!
    Now, there are many published fixes for this, but NONE work. I've tried everything I can find:
    Yes, I have an AU and US apple ID, and both dont work
    I installed ML from a fresh disk wipe + install.  No baggage from previous OS's.
    Everything is standard, no tricky fixes or apps
    No Little snitch installed
    Have deleted the ~/Library/App Support/iCloud folder
    Have deleted any preference files
    Have opened up the permissions on the ~/Library/Caches/iCloud folder
    Have reset keychain
    Have deleted all references of any @me or @apple accounts
    Have re-installed the ML OS from a DIFFERENT bootable USB stick
    No proxies, SOCKS, or mods to network
    Plain old home WIFI network, never had a problem
    Have icloud successfully set up at work (QC 2.8GHZ Mac Pro 2010), on my iPhone, iPad and Macbook Pro - Zero issues
    The mac having problems is a 2008 iMac, Core2Duo 2.8ghz Intel w 4gb 1067mhz ram) - Runs well, use for design.
    Is it a problem with the iCloudHelper process not having sufficient permission to write to the iCloud user DB? or the Accounts folder?
    Have looked into console, and when I try and log into iCloud, I get these three errors.  Same every time, no matter which apple ID account you use:
    1: AOSKit ERROR: (System Preferences[352]) AOSKC ([email protected]): Failed to store key, couldn't add kc item, error 100013 (service=iCloud, dsid=146089737)
    2: AOSKit ERROR: (System Preferences[352]) AOSKC ([email protected]): Failed to store account info key (dsid=146089737).

    Please help!  Is this an incompatibiloty with the iMac problem, or a ML problem?

    Where EXACTLY are you trying to log in to it?
    Through your web browser at iCloud.com?
    Or through the iCloud system preferences pane on your Mac?

This appended after I accidentally switched to the British version of iTunes and I logged out and back in to get to the US. Now, I keep getting an error message that I can not log into the App Store.     I am afraid all apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and are not transferable.
    Your son have to buy those apps with his own Apple ID and start from scratch.

    I have a Mac mini running the latest version of OS X and Server. Been running fine and flawlessly. However, I had a strange problem with the iCloud preferences panel crashing when I tried to access it, so I rebooted. Now I can not log into the system with any accounts. My master admin account (along with all the others) gives me the error:
    You are unable to login to the user account "abcdefg" at this time. Logging in to the account failed because an error occurred."
    I am able to see the server from other macs and I can log into it using the same account, but it only shows me a few of the shared folders I have access to but NOT to my main directories.
    Rebooting into Command-R and doing a disk utility, I try and repair permission on that drive and get a bunch of errors like:
    ACL found but not expected on Users
    Repaired "Users"
    ACL found but not expected on Users/.localized
    Repaired "Users/.localized"
    ACL found but not expected on Users/Shared
    Repaired "Users/shared"
    ACL found but not expected on Users/Shared/.localized

    Permissions repair complete.
    But rebooting is no joy...same problem. Any idea what is going on or how to repair it? Should I do a time machine restore? Complete new OS X install? Any idea what is causing this or how to salvage it?

    Got everything to re-install and it worked fine...for a few hours. Then I came in to find ALL of my network users deleted. Just GONE. Then found out the Open Directory was trashed and was unable to open, recover or restore from a backup. Looks like I may have a bad drive here.
    I installed a new drive in the system, re-installed and so far (for a couple of hours anyway) the system seems to be working and stable.

    Stick the 10.6 disk into the machine and reboot holding the option/alt key down on a wired/built in keyboard.
    On the second screen, under the Utilities menu is a Password Reset, use it.

    Only you have the password. No one can email it to you.

    Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
    Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
    If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.     I have setup webex meeting server at home and everything has been working except using the webex app to join iphone4 to CWMS meetings.
    Here is what i did
    1) installed Webex meeting app for Iphone4
    2) openned the activation email that was sent by CWMS and lick on the link.
    4) the webex meeting app opens and I inter my webex site (meetings.homelab.com)
    5) entered my username and password but then it fails to log in

    Message:Error Code:100202. Contact Cisco WebEx Technical Support.
    In the problem report we are also seeing

    We are also sorting out a cert issue, but it looks like this is the likely problem.  You have saved us a whole lot of time trying to figure this out.

  • Can't log into my @me/icloud id account. Help?

    OK, here's my challenge to you amazing Geniuses:
    I created my itunes apple ID about 8 years ago, so therefore it is just my name. I know my password for this and use it daily to purchase apps. When I bought my iphone 4s a year ago, they created a new @me account to use for icloud. I have NEVER used this account or email associated with it. I never hooked my iphone or my ipad up with icloud. Today I downloaded the new IOS 6.0.1 software to my ipad only, and it was prompting me to sync into icloud. Apparently my @me account is now a new @icloud account. The problem is, I can't get into either one. I have no clue what they made my password for my @me account. I've never even checked my email for this account. When I try all of the possible ways to retrieve my @me Apple ID from the apple wesite, I come to the same 2 options...1) get a link to reset my password via email (when I click on this I don't get anything sent to my normal primary or rescue emails...if they are sending it to my @me email account that is just pointless seeing that I can't remember my password)...and 2) answer the security question (which when I try to answer it to the best of my ability it doesn't match and there are NO other options).
    So my BIGGER question in this mess is...can I change my old Apple ID (the one I actually use daily and has all of my purchases and music on it) to be an acceptable email ID so I only have one Apple ID to be used for iTunes, and iCloud? I tried to follow Apple's promt to tell me to merge my simple old ID with my primary (msn) email address. However when I click on "submit", NOTHING happens. When I try to change it to my primary email by typing it in, I get a red alert saying that I can't change it to an already existing Apple domain...which is ridiculous because it's used for that original ID, and they are the ones telling me to merge the two!
    OR....can I just create a new Apple icloud id/email altogether and forget that the other one they created for me exists? Since I never used it or icloud for anything, would I be able to do this? It does however bother me that there is a @me/@icloud account with my name on it that I can't get into.

    I encountered a problem a few weeks ago which is a bit like yours. In my case my Apple ID stopped working after I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I finally found out it was because of the fact that my Apple ID has in fact been an alias within my much older MobileMe/iCloud account. And they weren't able to merge or reset the account at first. It took me a lot of mails and a few calls to get them to resetting the account and changing my Apple ID (for the Apple Store, iTunes, etc.) to a different, non-iCloud related email adress.
    Anyway, maybe you can call the Apple Support and kindly ask them to reset the password for this ominous @me.com account so you can finally start using it.
    Did you try logging into iCloud using your adress with the appendix @me.com because not everybody has got the @icloud.com ending yet. Technically it's no problem to create a new iCloud account. I can understand though that you'd like to get "your name" back .

    I can log into Connect Central, but every time I try to log into this specific meeting it gives me the "Invalid User/Password" error even though I'm using the right password.

    In Connect Central, you should see a My Meetings tab on the home page. Any meetings that you have pre-defined permissions to (Participant, Presenter or Host) should show up there. If you have permissions, you may be able to browse to the meeting location on the server and enter it there, but that may not be a possibility for you.
    Additionally, if you are logged into Connect Central, then clicking on the link for the meeting should just pass you into the room.
