Since ios7 - cannot select links in e-mails or other documents. Also cannot access all of my photos.

Tried this but cannot select Italic because it is "gray", not black. Also, "Bold", "Underline" and "Outline" are "pale" colored and canot be selected. You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists. If it does, remove the email accounts from mail and add them again.

I am on verizon and ever since ios7, cannot use the personal hotspot

On an iPhone 5, before iOS 7, I had no problem connecting to my iphones personal hotspot via WiFi.
Then t upgraded to iOS 7, and it would connect to the hotspot, but windows 7 would say limited or no connectivity. Note no changes were made to the windows 7 machine. My nexus 7 and kindle fire also had trouble connecting. They'd show being connected to the iPhone, but you'd either get no internet or very slow internet.
I then upgraded to a 5s. Same exact problem exists.
I've tried resetting the network settings on the iPhone without any luck. I've tried disabling and enabling the wireless adapter on the window's machine, and that did not work either.
I have verified that the iPhone itself does have LTE connectivity, and speed test showed a very fast connection, in fact.
I've seen posts about updating your APN settings, however I believe Verizon blocks you from being able to change the apn-theres no way to get to it from settings on the iPhone.
Any ideas? I'm sure there are a ton of Verizon ios7 users, and since this problem occurred on two different phones even, I'd have to think this is a widespread problem.

I have reset my phone a large number of times. It doesn't work. I am now reseting and setting it up as a new phone every 2 days. It works for a while and then teh cycle repeats.

Cannot select text in mail

I am using Mail in Yosemite. In both new and replying to emails I cannot select the text. Do I need to turn some kind of protection off? This has happened since the last update of Yosemite on 22 April.

From my experience, it depends on the web page. Snopes, for example, uses a java script that preventes one from selecting text, and that initially fooled me into thinking that aplplied to all pages in Safari 5.1. Not so; I can select text in other pages.
David Kirk at Tech Recipes suggested this override on this particular kind of java script:
"... just past the following into the address bar of your browser and press ENTER:
javascript:void(document.onselectstart=null)

Since iOS7 on iPad2. Updates in App store cannot detect any updates so i restart an iPad then it can detect many updates. After use for a few days it happens again.

Unable to connect to iTune Store:
1. Make sure internet is working
2. Make sure iPad is using the latest software
3. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure Time Zone is correct
5. Try restart iPad

Cannot make in app purchases since iOS7

Having installed thunderbird, and subsequently disinstalled, Safari cannot find Mail.app anymore. This is rather annoying, since I cannot send links or web contents anymore from winthin Safari. Is there any way to reinstall Safari or make Mail visible?

I've done that. But the settings "mail, contacts, calendar" are still disabled. For example, if I want to add a new mail account, I can not do it. Because the option "add account" is as if it's turned off, disabled, as well as my other accounts above this ...

The orientation lock control is now located in the Control Center on your iPhone. If you swipe up from the bottom of the screen, you will see the option to lock or unlock the orientation:
Swipe up along the bottom of the screen to display Control Center (you can do this from any screen, including the Lock screen).
Tap the Screen Rotation Lock button.
If the button was highlighted, the button will appear dimmed after tapping it.

I cannot receive text messages and cannot use FaceTime since ios7 upgrade

I upgraded to iOS 7 and since I cannot receive text messages or use face time. I have tried to reboot several times and when I try to sign in I keep getting a message to check my network settings. I can receive emails and the phone works.

After going to the Apple Store I found out this a known issue and al I can do is refresh the phone and reinstall my apps or wait till Apple releases another version.
