if you use vista, try install sp2, and if the problem still there , try google chrome 10.x to see whether it is better, sometimes these sort of problem only happen to some specific websites, and esp. during rush hours of internet, i.e. night hours from dusk to mid-night.

Here (at work) we have in the past have had IMAP and SMTP enabled on our Exchange server so Thunderbird could then connect just like to any other regular internet-based service.
With the change here to outlook365/outlook 2010 I've had to switch to using DavMail which lets Thunderbird talk to the mail server using OWA.
I haven't (seriously) tried Exquilla. Whilst I have great respect for its author and some of his other add-ons, I saw no reason to use an add-on that required payment when DavMail works for free.

All three of my computers have been totally worthless since I upgraded to FF3.66. Each are built/configured differently. Each has a different OS. Each has all the above problems. Crashes constantly, RAM & CPU usage on a Q9650 is always near 100%. After screwing around for days I finally came here and found out that I was among a very large and upset group of users. With the last few upgrade I've had minor problems with my selection of add-ons Firefox disabled them for a later fix. I found a new DL today, 3.67 so I installed it figuring the problem was addressed. After installation of 3.67 it still says it's 3.66??
I went to their site to find help from them and couldn't get anyplace until I came here and read about my problem. Thanks for giving me a clear head so I could find a good solution.
My solution was to remove all Mozilla/Firefox products and then install other browsing options. It felt funny because for the first time in years I had to use Microsoft Internet Explorer to find other options. My computer is problem free and fast as usual now.
I wonder how many other users have abandoned them due to this BS?? I for one will probably stick with my new choices now.

If you are running one of the Titanium products, try upgrading to the 2014 version. Open the main console, then use the "?" icon in the upper right of the window to open About. Titanium will then check for updates.

That error seems to be new with Firefox 4 - never heard of it with earlier versions of Firefox, but it goes back many years in various Windows programs.

ever since I downloaded the newest version of Firefox, my Dragon NaturallySpeaking hasn't been working very well. For example, I will say "click register" or "click contact us" to select links and buttons on websites. I have a Macbook- I'm running OSX version 10.5.8. Previous versions of firefox have always worked fine. I downloaded the newest version of firefox, and have had all sorts of problems with it. After about 6 weeks of struggling with it, I have gone back to version 3.0.5. I know it's an earlier version, but the performance is way better. Windows and tabs open quickly, there are no loading problems on any sites, and other browsers work fine now, too. I run safari and google chrome also. I was almost at the point where I was going to pass on firefox altogether. In my opinion, the newest version is NOT STABLE and unless you fix the problems, I will not use it. This was a terrible experience and I will not try a new version right now. I'm just happy that I have a stable version of firefox again. And by the way, the older version is way faster loading pages, too.

Going all the way back to Firefox 3.0.5 is shear foolishness, it is 14 security versions behind the last 3.0.19 release. And that version is missing at least a dozen security updates that were applied to the 3.5 and 3.6 versions after support for 3.0.x ended.
If you are not happy with Firefox 4, you should have installed Firefox 3.6.17. That is very similar to the 3.0 and has all the security fixes that have been released since support for Firefox 3.0.x ended last year.

Until Evernote updates their add-on to mark it compatible with Firefox 6, you can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Add-on Compatibility Reporter] to try re-enabling it yourself.
You can also downgrade to a previous version of Firefox from [https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ this archive], but please be warned that some old versions of Firefox have known security bugs that are fixed in later versions. I loaded the newest version and it only shows an hourglass and then says it could not open. HELP! I cannot run a crash report either.

Firefox worked before though at times encountered a problem and had to close. Now I've loaded the newest version and it won't even fully load without having to close. If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

It could be that you need to reset Firefox to its defaults, however there could also could be something going wrong with the login request. Please check the Firewalls and loading websites to see if anything is blocking a request.
