I have several groups of computers in my DSfW Domain, They are mainly
used to apply different GPOs to different groups.
If you look via iManager or C1 at the properties of the groups you see
the computers, which are members of the groups on the membership and
security self equivalancy pages.
If you use the MS AD snapin the memberlist of the group shows not any
computer - but the computer(user) template shows, that the computer is
member of the groups in question. It seems as if the GPOs are applied
correctly using the group membership.
But the question remains, why are the computer members not shown in the
group template. They did show up there before OES 11SP2, so it seems
some attribute got lost or is not correctly interpreted on the AD side.

This might be the side-effect of some bug fix we did in oes11sp2, and will require deeper debugging. Please raise the SR with appropriate priority so that we give greater attention.

Hi ,
We have a issue,
After mapping any AD group in CMC,the groups and users are displaying in the cmc list. but when we go to the properties of the user and member of option ,the groups are not displaying .
After restarting the CMS every thing works fine.
Every time after adding a new user we should restart the CMS, it is very difficult for us as number of users are working on this .
We are using number of AD groups.
Is there any resolution for this with out restarting the CMS.

The LDAP graph is responsible for showing the membership when viewing the user properties, an issue like this would indicate the graph is not auto updating. It normally builds when starting the CMS then every 15 minutes or so for new users (depending on system activity). It shouldn't lose any info (if it does this indicates a caching or communication problem with AD). There is a graphtimeout setting in the registry (search SAP notes) if this were disabled then it may cause similar symptoms.
I'm not aware of any bugs in 3.1 causing this behavior so you may need to open a case with support (authentication team) to help troubleshoot.

Why my tracks are not shown in Album view and Artist view, only Album Artworks are shown???

I have not have this problem in the previous version of iTune. As soon as i upgraded it to iTunes 11, it happens.
The problem in here is all my songs, tracks are still here, i can see all of them in "songs view". However, when i change the view to Album View, and click into the Album artwork, there is no track there. When i double click into the Album Artwork, the first song of the album will be played normally.
Same story to the Artist View. Only the Album Artworks are shown and the rest is completely blank.
I have absolutely no idea what is going on here and obviously i am not satisfy with this new version.
Is there any way for me to fix this problem? Please help!
Otherwise i will need to use other software for music playing.

On reminders, it says 28 but I only have 7. i cloud is accurate.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

You might want to try asking on the MS Office Outlook forum - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoutlook - since those are Outlook files.
Also note which method you're using to create a backup.

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

Make sure People Sending you via iMessage are sending their messages on your PHONE number not on your EMAIL addresses . My sister had the same problem, thats how i managed to solve it!

My outlook 2010 Contact Groups are not visible in iTunes; only syncs main Outlook Contact Folder, others not synching

I have an iPhone (running the latest device software) and have Outlook 2010 for PC on my desktop. I have several Outlook 2010 Contact Folders/Groups but when I try to sync with my iPhone I only have the option to sync all of my contacts.
When I sync this -- the only Outlook folder/group that is synced is my main 'Contacts' folder/group. All the rest of my folders/groups are not being transferred to my iPhone. I've had this issue for a few months now -- and though I like the iPhone, my old Blackberry nev er presented this problem when it came to the simple base function of syncing. Click on calendars at the bottom of the screen. Make sure that birthdays are checked.
We may think we have 1 calendar, but iPhone puts things in different calendars. Sometimes we can somehow lose one. Well not really lost, but somehow it just gets de-selected. So just make sure that all that you want to see are checked.
One cool thing I like about this is that they have added US Holidays which didn't used to be there like on most paper calendars. Nice to have them available now!

It sounds like your Mail application is not checking for mail automatically anymore after updating to 10.10.2. It seems to me that the setting for this may have reset, or changed at some point thereafter so I would check the preferences for the Mail application:
General preferences - Mail Help
Check for new messages
When Mail gets new messages from the mail server. By default, the option is set to Automatically (Mail varies how often it gets messages, based on whether your Mac is plugged into an electrical outlet).
An IMAP account may get messages more frequently if the mail server supports the IDLE command; make sure the option to use it is selected in the account’s Advanced pane in Mail preferences.
If you set the option to Manually, click the Get Mail button in the Mail toolbar to check for messages. (Whenever you click an IMAP or Exchange mailbox, it syncs with the server, and shows new messages.)

Since I upgraded to Lion, my photos are not attached to emails. Example: I select photos in iphoto, click Share and send the email.
Recipients tell me that there is 'nothing attached, no photo attached." Can you help?

This doesn't work for me at all. I tried entering exactly the same information that I used to set up my regular email account and I'm still getting an error message. I even tried switching to using my gmail account and neither one worked. Then it got hung up and had to repair my database! I have a lot of photos on my Mac (thank goodness they're backed up) and I was really sweating it for a moment.
Apple is so easy until it's not. I find this to be really aggrevating and I'm irritated that it hasn't been fixed. In fact I did an online search and someone described this same problem in detail and it was exactly what was happening to me. Same error messages.
I'm frustrated that Apple keeps updating it's operating system and then we go through these glitches.
And while I'm at it, I have never had such a frustrating time using my login information as I have to get into this forum! Why do they make it so difficult? There's just something about the way it's worded that get's me messed up every time. Meanwhile, at least get iPhoto fixed!

WS2012r2 - Cross-forest trust - Can add groups to user but when I open it again, groups are not listed

I hope you can help me resolve this issue, I'm missing something but I don't know what.
I have 2 ws2012r2 domain controllers, each one with it's own forest (Lets call them A.com and B.com).
I have a validated 2 way external trust relationship between those domains.
I've added the domain admin "B\Administrator" to the DL group "A\Administrators", so I have permissions to modify everything on A.com
From "Active Directory Users and Computers" on B.com, I can see all users and "Domain Local" groups of A.com
From "Active Directory Users and Computers" on A.com, I can see all users and "Domain Local" groups of B.com
What I need: Add users from B.com to DL groups in A.com using the "B\Administrator" account
The problem: I'm able to open a user from B.com, add a DL group from A.com, click Apply, then OK.
But if I open the user again and go to the "Member of" tab, the group is no longer listed there.
If I go to the A.com domain and open the DL group membership tab, I can see the user from B.com listed there.
So there's something wrong, cause even If the user is listed in the group in A.com, It's not assigning the right permissions when trying to access the resources that group grants access to.
Any ideas what did I do wrong ot forget to do?

Have you tried to take a force replication or refresh and then check the membership? Please verify DNS is well configured and we got a GC in both sides of the two forests.

Hello,
I ran a report. Within that report, a BAPI is called. It's name is user_change.
That BAPI enables you to change user details like passwords and so on...
When I tried to change the user's password, an error message occured.
"You are not authorized to change users in user group XY"
The user belongs to the group XY.
After an unsuccessful pwd change, there is no SU53 file!
So how could I solve that?
Could I explicitly define for which user groups, passwords can be changed?
Any other ideas?
