Since replacing hard drive, "restore previous session" button doesn't work, can only do it through history tab. Also will not start up from task bar icon.
Hi, been using Firefox for some years, had to replace hard drive recently and re loaded Firefox. Since then, the restore previous session button doesn't work, but I can do it from the History tab. Also Firefox itself won't start from the task bar or desktop, only the start menu.
Using Windows XP

You should be able to go to System Preferences -> Keyboard and System Preferences -> Mouse and discover the bluetooth devices.
Also, do you have a bluetooth icon on the top bar of your mac? Should look sort of like this:
If you can figure out which device is which (by trial and error, if nothing else), you can connect to them on this menu. -
I have a desktop at work, and a desktop and laptop at home and just recently the "restore previous session" button that comes up when I use the desktop icon to start a Firefox Web browser session does not work. It is there and I click it but nothing happens. I have Windows 7 on the two computers at home and thought that is what I had on this computer at work, but it may be Vista. It's not XP.
Had this trouble myself, just did some research and solved it!
Go to the '''Help''' menu, go to "'''Troubleshooting Information'''"
On the new window, click "'''Open Containing folder'''" next to ''Profile Directory'' (This opens the folder on your PC where Mozilla stores some settings, like a tab history)
In the new Windows Explorer window, Find the file "'''chromeappsstore.sqlite'''"
You'll want to close Firefox and then '''delete''' that file (don't worry, Firefox will create a new one, and you won't even lose the open tabs)
Start Firefox again and the button should work!
(For completeness's sake, the profile folder for windows7 is: C:\Users\Tiberion\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\c6xu23fh.default\
where you replace Tiberion with your own username, and the random characters in the final folder will be different.) -
My restore previous session button is gone from the home page. How do i get it back?
Today when i started Firefox it no longer had the restore previous session button. I have not changed anything since last time i browsed and the button do not appear even if i close down Firefox with tabs/windows open. Please help
Are you keeping the history?

When I click the "Restore Previous Session" button on my Firefox home page, nothing happens. It usually restores all of my tabs from the previous session, and now it does nothing.

After deleting the file, that bug is solved. HOORAY!
But it seems like it crashes my About:Home page. Now, there's a blank box below the search bar and it is not responding. Can't use it to search etc.

I have purchased itunes tv series, movies and music and have transferred them onto an external hard drive and tried to play them on my tv on a media hub. The file will not load. Is there some form of blocking by itunes or another p[roblem and how do I fix it?
You can't fix it. iTunes bought content is DRM protected. so it can only be played on authorized devices. i.e devices associated with the apple Id used to purchase the content. Its copyright protection that the rights owners demand.
Circumventing it, is illegal in most countries, and as such cannot be discussed here. If you want to play the content you'll need to connect your computer directly to your TV, or use some other device you can authorize for iTunes content such as an iPad, iPhone , iPod touch or Apple Tv. -
I'm installing Creative Cloud on a MAC OSX 10.6.8 I have the 'installing window' displaying that it is about 95% complete but hasn't moved in 30 minutes; cannot quit it either...cancel button doesn't work, can't esc. What's up?

Cannot install Desktop Software since replacing hard drive / upgrading OS
My hard drive on my laptop recently started to fail and so I decided to replace it. Since I was still running Vista and had a licence available for Windows 7 Pro 64bit available, I decided to switch up to Windows 7 at the same time.
Prior to this I was able to run the desktop software no problem and was able to sync my Torch with Outlook.
Since installing the OS and MS Office, etc I have tried a few times to install the BB Desktop Software (have tried the most recent version as well as version 6.1). The install appears to go successfully, but when the software launches it creates a window with just the title bar and frame visible; the inside is "transparent", showing what is behind it on the desktop. No matter how many times I've tried to close and reload the program, reboot, completely uninstall and reinstall the desktop software (both 6.1 and 7.0), I get the same result.
I'm not sure what to do at this point; I've spent enough time customizing Windows7 that I don't really want to go back to Vista and/or try to reinstall Windows 7. Any ideas or comments?Hi pjreid,

Have had a ton of issues with my Mac. Went to the apple store in march and they said my processor could be going bad and they basically did nothing. Yesterday I was using my computer put it to sleep. 10 minutes later I opened it up and it completely crashed. Drove 2 hours to get to apple because I am away at school and need my computer for finals. They replaced my hard drive and it was working perfectly fine till today. Now it turns on and works and then shuts off and it won't come back on till I plug it in. It's completely charged and I need it for my classes. I have apple care but I can't keep driving back to apple every day. I have a apple appointment tomorrow but this is ridiculous. Has anyone had any of these issues? What's it going to take for them to replace my computer I can't even live a day without it right now. And by the way. I could not even get any of my data off my old hard drive. So basically nothing is on this computer right now.

Let them know how this is inconveniencing you. For a replacement, I believe Apples general rule of thumb is if it comes in for the 3rd time for the same issue they will replace it, but it may vary by store. It cant hurt to ask for a replacement. -
Disc stuck in drive, holding down mouse button doesn't work!
My G4 is very ill, and there is a DVD stuck in the drive. Normally, I would hold down the mouse button while restarting, but my startup sequence is quitting before the G4 reboots. How can I manually remove the disc, so that I can run some diagnostics off of a startup disc?

I have been transfering photos and movies to an external hard drive and when I try and secure trash contents off my computor i get the message it will not continue In utilities the message is: SUID file syst/library/coreS has been modified and will not be repaired. Hence I cannot free up space on my computor. What can i do?

The Restore previous session button is dead. Not doing anything
I have been able to use this before but this time, I click and nothing. Dead. Went to history and tried it there. Same result. No error message just a dead button

Did you try restarting the browser and trying it again? Have you upgraded to the latest version of Firefox? That would be the best place to start.
