Since the 11.1.4 update I can't sync my ipod touch.
Before the 11.1.4 update everything was working fine and syncing was no problem. Now iTunes does not recognize my device. The "Device" button does not appear in the upper rt hand corner of the screen. Hiding the sidebar makes no difference. I've checked my cable and have jumped thru all the hoops to try to solve the problem. Everything was working fine before this "upgrade". Can I go back to the previous version?

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You can remove and reinstall older iTunes but you then have to rebuild your library.

The other responder gave you a program that will transfer stuff from your iPod to your new computer. You can transfer iTunes purchaces to your new computer by:

After you move your stuff to your new computer you will have to let iTunes erase your iPod and then sync with the stuff that is now in your iTunes library. You will loose app data though. -

Keep in mind that you can't drag and drop (transfer) songs from one iPod to another using iTunes either. The music you want to add from one iPod to the other, must be stored in your iTunes library first.

No. You can only sync to one iTunes library. You can however manage music and videos among different computers.

Since the last i-tunes update I have lost the ability to create new playlists as well the option to burn a new cd. I ued to be able to click "File" and go from there. The file option is gone since the new update.
How can I test the other display theory? I didn't connect any new monitor (I do use 2) but I occasionally use stuff like remote desktop tools.
I'll try and update the display drivers (even tho I updated them recently).
P.S.: opening it on the other monitor worked. What the heck. Any way I can make it work on both monitors?

The problem is that i can´t sync my ipod with itunes because it says that it didnt find my ipod, i tried to sync via wifi and nothing..
what´s the problem? I have windows 7 home premium i´ve never had this problem..Have you made sure that you plug the iPod into power? WiFi syncing only works if the iPod is plugged in to a USB cable or a wall charger. This is to prevent unnecessary draining of the battery.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

I have a MacBook Pro through my college, and I have all my iCal items on that computer, but I have all my music, apps, etc. on a PC desktop that is my personal home computer. I am wondering if I can sync my iPod touch with my MacBook for the iCal items and also with my PC for the music and such without loosing either of the two when trying to sync with the other computer?
