Since the iOS7 update, my phone has some new annoying problems. The phone keeps switching mid-call to the speaker. Along with this, since the update, the other person cannot hear me when my phone switches to speaker mode (I can still hear them). It also occasionally switches to facetime (mid-call). I have heard numerous people complain of this, but never heard any solutions. I have done the hard reset on my phone a couple of times and this has not helped. Help!!!

Back up and restore via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a new device and test. If the problem is solved, there is some kind of corruption in your backup file. If it continues, take it to an Apple store for evaluation of a possible hardware problem.

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Since the crashing started yesterday, I have opened Ff in safe mode, disabled all the add-ons and then re-enabled them (all except the Rewind etc. one) and Ff now seems to be stable again. The Rewind is a very valuable add-on and I regret very much having to disable it. The last crash report ID is below.

Thank you for referring me to the add-ons page. The edition of "Rewind..." it advises is the one that I have been using and is now causing the crashes, so obviously, and very reluctantly, I shall have to do without it! Are there any developers out there, I wonder, who can come to the rescue?

Ok, so I synched my iphone 4 to my computer recently and now when I go to play music on my phone, only the songs I've bought on Itunes play. I put all of my music collection that is in CD form on my computer and it used to play on my phone too, but now it just skips those songs. They still play on my computer though. I've been trying to figure out what the problem is for over three days or so and am about to loose my friggin mind! Can anyone help me?

De-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

To fix this go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and do one of the following:
Either uncheck the email address shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at" on all of your devices (the easiest solution); or
If you want to continue to receive iMessages at this email address on one of your phones, on the other one tap the Apple ID at the top, sign out, then sign back in using a different Apple ID (so both phones are using a different Apple ID for iMessage). Since the last update Firefox has been crashing constantly and something is VERY WRONG with the update!!!!!!!!! Why?

Since the last update to Firefox, I have had crashes non stop about every ten minutes or so, with very typical use. The update SUCKS and is crashing computers. I am SURE I am not the only one. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. I have been a Firefox user forever, but now going to Chrome and Explorer until I hear from you about fixing this issue. Never before have I had this problem with Firefox. Here's the problems I'm having with iPad 2 and iOS 5.1:
Okay ... so, because I had less than a 1 Gig left (as reported by iTunes) on my 64Gig iPad, and the majority of the space was being used by "Photos" ... I decided to not keep my PC photos directory in sync with my iPad (Windows 7). So, in iTunes, I unchecked the option to sync computer photos to the iPad. I got the standard popup warning message that my iPad would not contain those albums after the next sync. I clicked OK and proceeded to sync expecting to have lots of space freed up.
But weird things happened after syncing.
(1) I still have all my photos on my iPad .... nothing disappeared at all. (And performed multiple syncs to try to force the change ... still nothing has been removed from my iPad.)
(2) Somehow, I gained 20 Gigs of free space, as reported by both iTunes and my iPad as well.
Anyone know what's going on here?
I do have iMovie and another movie making app, Avid. Both of these contain projects that refer to photos in albums that were supposed to be removed after the sync ... but I can't imagine that would keep them there. Anyone have any ideas?
I also installed the iPad app, iPhoto. I noticed that it build a directory listing and continuously want to update that listing from time to time.
Would any of these things cause the iTunes photo sync changes to be ignored? And, how did I get free space to report back with an additional 19Gig or so, when there's no change at all.
Unsure what's going on ...

Hi I've purchased music but itunes won't let me transfer it to my iphone. This has happened since the last update and is happening to my brothers iphone also on his laptop. any suggestions?

my laptop recenty went kaput and needed a new hardrive which was installed. When I got it back I downloaded itunes again and then bought some music. I connected my iphone and it would not allow me to transfer the music over to the iphone at all. It allowed me to pull all the music on my phone over to the itunes list which I realised at that point did have my usual music list on it. I can't seem to transfer any music purchased over to my iphone for love or money. This is happening to my brother on his itunes account also and he said it's happened since the last update on his. Any suggestions - I'm quite desperate as this is driving me nuts.

Plug in phone to computer.
in iTunes click on your device and then Music Tab.
Deselect the playlist in question, and click sync
Try your sync again

Like many others I have been reading about online I am having the same error. I tried the fix listed above and simply wasted 30 minutes of my time. I scheduled a time for Apple to call and help me through this and their solution was for me to call Microsoft for some reason?!! iTunes made me upgrade then stopped working - I really don't see how this is a Microsoft problem??
Like Darren if a solution is not found quickly I will also have to sell my phone as the only way to get videos and music on my phone is through the software that you made me upgrade, broke and won't help me fix.

Since the last update can't send mail every time I must enter my iCloud password.

I Have a iPhone 6 and a ipad 4. Since the last update only on my phone when I try to send mail a box pops up & I have to enter my iCloud password. It's very annoying. I don't have this issue on my ipad and as I said it started after the last update. Anyone have an answer what's going on & how to fix it.

If you are having an issue with your iPhone asking for your iCloud password each time you try to send mail, it may be necessary to reset the password of the Apple ID you are using for iCloud. See this article for how -

Help is here to resolve this issue with your wifi connection 88DaveS. Lets try disabling your "Smart Network Switch". Select Settings> Wifi. The 'smart network switch' is in the advanced settings. Locate the Menu icon in the upper right hand corner > Tap Menu > Tap Advanced > Locate and ensure the check box is Unchecked next to Smart network switch. Let us know if this helps.
