Since the latest update when I enter a URL I gte this "Firefox can't find the server at www" If I enter retry it works. Can someone advise what the problem is ?
This happens to every URL I enter then the firefox box comes up and it gives you the option to try again or cancel. Previous versions worked great it has been since the last 2 updates that this is going on.
it's a catch 22
having doubleclick.net not working is good thing, it's a tracker.
However, pages that are loading and trying to 'read' the data from them will not load or pause. notice if you se 'Looking up....' while loading.
Just try F5 refresh, sometimes it by passing and moves to the 'next sponsor/ad'
Try a tcp listing program like whatsrunning to see the IP that are connecting to PC. If there are some that look suspicious ones such as accessing multiple ports or going 'in and out' / heavy traffic. Ban them by using a firewall or hostmanager file(there are several steps for this method however)
Try Malwares spy checker.

I have had Firefox for a few years and have been very satisfied with all of it's features and qualities. I work a great deal from home and have always enjoyed the convenience of being able to work off of 3 or 4 Firefox screens at one time. By pulling up one screen over the other and then go back and forth (as I still am able to do with Internet Explorer), saves a lot of time and NEEDLESS effort.
Since your latest update the other day, I am now only able to get that 1 screen and no matter how many times I click on the Firefox Icon on my icon screen, no other Firefox screens will come up. I am stuck with that 1 screen...

Thank you so Very much in advance for addressing and correcting this error.Since I upgraded to Firefox 19 from 18.0.2, on my Windows XP (SP3) laptop, I, too, can no longer open a new window. File-->New Window does nothing; also can no longer tear off a tab and open it in a new window (it stays where it is). Also, if I right-click on a tab and select Move to New Window, nothing happens. All of these worked fine in FF 18.0.2. All of these work fine with FF 19 on Windows 7. Only an issue on my XP laptop.
After trying to open a new window, and not seeing the new window come up (and yes, I waited a long time), I decided to close my current window, which had multiple tabs open. Instead of just closing, it pops up the message reminding me that I'm about to close all those tabs. If I say close, and then go into the Task Manager, the Firefox application has disappeared (as expected), but the firefox (and plug-in container) processes are still running. So I have to manually kill the Firefox process to get it to quit. it's as if it thinks there is another Window open (the one I tried to open but never appeared). This happens every single time! I've restarted my laptop, and that does not resolve the problem.
Is there a way to downgrade back to v 18.0.2 until this is fixed? -
Bought ipad around 4 months ago and have been using the magnetic cover that also turns into a stand. Sadly it got knocked off the meeting table and has shattered the glass. This has been taken into the Apple store in central Sydney where they were incredibly unhelpful and told us, you have to make an appointment over the internet. Unless we are buying another computer they really don't care. Makes me feel quite ill, especially as we have so many apple products.
Can anyone advise how we get the screen fixed without it costing us the same as it would to buy a new one?Accidentaly damage is, as you've found out, not covered under warranty. Apple does not repair iPads, but will replace the entire iPad for a flat fee (which is significantly less than the price of a new iPad, though not iconsiderable); see the Repair Pricing section here:

I have an ipad and have just downloaded the lastest update, now I have a very very important spreadsheet that will not open!!!! other spreadsheets open fine but for some just this one will not open. I have rebooted the ipad and tried re-syncing but to no avail, can anyone HELP?????
I had the same problem. I created an iCloud account and backed up my iPad to iCloud. I then went to www.iCloud.com, signed-in and then I was able to download my spread sheet data. At least I have my data.

On several sites pictures do not load properly and there is just a black where the photo should appear.
Had a problem to start with and then re-loaded Firefox version 9 and restarted the computer. So far all seems to be now working correctly.

After updating today MacPro with OS 10.7.5 will not restart, can someone advise what to do?
Had an OS update today, from OS X Lion to ver 10.7.5 which needed to restart to install. My computer will not restart. Have MacPro.
Ok so here's what happened. My machine has 8GB Ram. We tested the Ram and moved it between the cards & slots in the Mac in various combinations. As far as we can tell Ram is fine. We removed two sticks of Ram and now the machine runs with 6Gb Ram... At a loss to explain why but the machine is now running again and seems normal if a little slower. Will continue to run with 6 and see what happens.

I recently upgraded both my 4s and iPad to to new iOS 7. Now when I use either camera I can't take night photos. I did look into other forums and one said that there is a lightning bolt in the pure left hand side of the 4s...not on mine!

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than Network connectivity tests, as per the following screenshot:

External hard drive connected to my airport extreme will no longer open, when navigating to it in Finder, the Finder window quits and reopens, cannot access hard drive, it is visible in airport utility, since the problem began I have updated firmware on Extreme as well as both of my Airport Expresses. Hard drive is USB connected to Extreme.
Reboot the USB drive.. assuming it is powered.. or unplug and replug a self-powered drive.. (you should not use self-powered drives on AE before the latest model.. always use a powered hub).
Does the drive now appear in finder..
If not reboot both drive and the AE.. it should now appear.
If it doesn't work with direct connection try a powered hub.. that can help. -
I have checked “Search for text when I start typing” but it is not happening since your latest update. This is very important to me as I keyboard - not use the mouse. What can I do? Also, before the last update I could leave the window (alt+tab) and return and just type and it would type it is the search box. Now I have to take my hand off the keyboard and get the mouse three times for every search, slowing my work way, way down. What other flag do I need to put this back the way it was? Should I also remove the “Automatically check for updates” so that this will not happen again? Please, please help.

I just upgraded to ilife iphoto 09. Now when I alter images in iphoto 8.1.2 the program freezes up. I have downloaded all of the latest updates from apple, but nothing seems to correct this problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List. -
When is the newest, latest update coming out? I have a bug. I can't use my wifi. I can't even tap the wifi , it's all grayed out. I have an iPhone 3g.
There are no more future updates for iPhone 3G. There is probably a hardware issue with your phone that an update would not fix.

I tried downloading a free app and it asked for my billing information and when I entered it, it said that there was a billing problem with a previous purchase and I have to update it. I keep updating it and it wont let me verify it and I cant get any apps even if they are free, and I just Deleted some apps to make room for my new upate!

In the order whether you are able to see the plan cost in the COST TAB ,for the activity.
You have to confirm the activities or operation for the order in IW41,then only actual cost will be captured in the order.
if you complete the notification ,your operation will not confirm automatically
