Since the update, some yahoo groups can't handle the format while others can.
I belong to many yahoo groups. I use yahoo for email. Most of the groups can handle posts made since the update, but one of them bounces my emails saying the site can't handle the new format.

Let me know if this doesn't work; this is how it works on ICS on a Bionic, and it may be different on a Razr/Maxx with JB:
Highlight the song you want to copy
At the bottom of the screen, there should be a 'copy' button (looks like two pages on top of each other), press it
At the top of the screen it should say '1 copied', press it
You should get a pop-up to choose between Device Storage and the SD Card, press Device Storage
Scroll to the Ringtones folder, press it
At the top of the screen on the right-hand side, you should see the word Paste, press it
And you're done (I hope!).

User can't see a dashboard while others can
Running on OBIEE 11g on Windows Server 2008 using Active Directory as the user store.
I have a user that cannot see certain dashboards that are only available to a small set of users. Access is controlled through AD groups tied to roles. Other users with the exact same set of AD groups can see these dashboards without problems. They can use the problem user's machine and browser session and login without a problem and see everything they should be able to. The problem user shows nothing awry in the catalog. The user has been deleted and recreated in the catalog but still nothing can be seen. At least once this user reported being able to see the dashboards after logging in, refreshed the screen and the dashboards were no longer available.
I can see nothing in the logs that seems tied to it. Is there additional tracing or logging that could be turned on to reveal what is going on here?I do this at home for enhanced security.

Macbook CAN'T see wireless network while others can
Hey,
I've searched everywhere and can't find the answer. I have a macbook and am visiting Norway from the US. I am in an office with several people and they can all "see" the wireless network but I cannot. BUT I can see several other networks from neighboring offices. I can connect just fine to the wireless connection at my hotel. Also I have no problem "seeing" and signing on to the office's wireless using my iphone, but as I said my macbook doesn't even see it. I tried "other" and typed in the name and password (several times) but to no advail.
Any suggestions o wise ones?

I have been unable to download the iphone software v5.1. I keep getting the timing out message. Is there someway to set my network connections to allow the download? Can I get the update some other way?

Usually iTunes will tell you in that case, that iOS 4.2.1 the newest version for your phone.

When I ring someone from my iPhone 4 they can't hear me sometimes and other times they can hear me fine. This has only started happening since I updated to iOS 6 it was perfect the day before.

A friend of mine was having the same problem that I was having where you could hear other people but they couldn't hear you.
We fixed the problem by redownloading the 4.2.1 update. 4th post down on this page: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1052794&page=5 is a list of links to the update files. I downloaded the one for my phone and did a restore (from a backup) after downloading the file and double clicking it so iTunes opens. Since I've done this my phone has been working perfectly again!
It might take you a few tries, it took my friend 3 tries until his worked right and it worked for me on the first try. I'm guessing something was screwing up during the download. -

When you get a call it has some small icons of reminding and message and one white ugly "slide to answer" bar.*** seriously?
People complained about the green bar in IOS 7.0.3. You can't please everyone with everything. Deal with it and move on. Or you can just get a Droid phone and suffer through the bizarre interface changes.
A lot of people would really appreciate a release with the old interface back.

Can't download the latest iTunes. A window pops up... The update could not be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs.
Now, iTunes won't launch and can't be updated. Please help.

You have to make sure that your Mac is booting into 64 bit mode. You can make sure of this by going into System Preferences and scrolling down to 'Software' and making sure that you are booding with 64 bit Kexts.
If not, restart while holding the 6 and 4 keys down until you see the spinning gear wheel and try installng again.
BUT, what I also did was to go into Applications, click on the Lion installer, Get Info, and give yourself custom priviliges to Read And Write.
I did this simultaneously, and I don't know what function did it, but it worked for me, with no further downloads of the installer.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? I suspect Mac because of the name your error.

You need a Time Machine backup to restore an old version. If you don't have one, you'll lose your library because it can only be used with iTunes 11

If you can't open a particular ibook then try deleting it from the bookshelf via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf, and (assuming that it's still in your country's store) redownload it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app (or if you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes library sync it back from there).

my iPhone fell in the pool, I tried the whole rice thing. & It seems to only turn on show the black screen with the apple & some white lettering on top of the apple. What else can I do to get my iPhone to work again?

With most multi-function devices, you need to run the printer manufacturer's setup/configuring program first. That will either "Add" the printer directly, or make it discoverable in the "Add-a-Printer" window. Look around, you probably downloaded that program when you downloaded the Driver.
