Since update all photos are super red!

I've just purchased Lightroom 4 and updated PSE to the latest version and now all my photos are super red. My wife says Lady Gaga red! lol
I'm pretty sure this has something to do with the Adobe producst since she says the photos displayed in Picasa look just fine.
Can anyone tell me what I need to adjust in LR and PSE to dial back the reds.

What really cheeses me off here is that Apple isn't allowing users enough customization. With each update of iTunes (and the OS and iOS) we're forced to give up something that worked well for the way we want to use the app and make do with fewer (and lamer) options. If Apple keeps this up, they're going to start losing customers fast. I mean if this isn't fixed soon, I'm pretty sure I'm going to give up on iTunes, and then I'll probably go ahead and get a Galaxy when I need to replace my iPhone.
What I don't understand about how they won't let users delete the list of available podcasts now is why? How is this making it a better program? I can understand that not all users are capable enough to right-click on a feed and select "Show all available episodes", so I can see why they want the complete list to be the default (and, surprise, it already was). But to not give users the option to delete that list? It's inconsiderate because it makes navigating feeds with a large back catalogue really frustrating. I'm flabbergasted that no one at Apple considered all the podcast feeds that keep hundreds of episodes available when they removed this feature. It smacks of rank incompetence.
What improvement were they trying to make here anyway? There was nothing wrong to my mind about how podcasts were managed in previous versions. Whatever improvement they were trying to make here, they should have realized that many users would at least want the option to keep things the way they were.
And reverting to a previous version is no solution. I can't sync my iPhone with the new iOS without this update, and (while I do have some issues--specifically how you can't play podcasts in the Music app anymore) I do like the new iOS.

I have several thousand photos in several folders. I have noticed that whenever I want to change the folder used as the side show source, it takes the Screen Saver Preference pane a very long time to respond. It is as if it is scanning all the photos in the currently assigned folder in order to display them in the preview window provided, and it gets so dogged down doing that it can't respond to my clicks on the Choose Folder option.
Assuming you don't want to redistribute your photos into a greater number of folders or subfolders so there would be fewer in each folder to process, you could try a workaround. Try moving your currently-assigned folder to your desktop temporarily, before opening the Screen Saver preference pane. If the preference pane can't find the old folder, it may immediately ask you to choose a new one. You could hopefully then do so, close the preference pane, and then put back the old folder.
It's my understanding that there will be no future updates to Tiger, only security fixes.

since update, all songs have been deleted and i can't turn ipod off!! I updated the itunes software last week and the next time I synced the ipod, it immediately deleted all songs. After further investigation, i realized that my songs are still in itunes. Under the music tab, it shows the capacity and the content of the ipod. It used to have 4 gb of audio on there and now it have no audio and 4 gb of 'other' files. what does this mean? i can still see the songs in the library list, but i can't even make a playlist with them. When I click on playlist, nothing happens. Also, I can't turn the ipod off since the update. Please send any advice my way.

Does family sharing mean all photos are backed up to one icloud account?

I am unclear what Family Sharing means.
Does family sharing mean all photos are backed up to one icloud account? Or simply that we can all see each other's streams. As it stands now, I understand we can share streams, without having family sharing enabled. Basically, I want to know if we can be logged into separate icloud accounts yet share photo and document storage as we currently can with dropbox.
I want to share photo storage and file backup with my wife. Currently, we both use her apple id to make store purchases and have our own icloud accounts. This solves some problems, but I still have old itunes purchases(grant you fairly old at this point) that I cannot access when I am logged into her id.
I realize we could both use our own icloud account and upgrade storage individually, but this fails the economy test. We have roughly 60 gb of family photo storage, so we would both need 200 gb plans.
we both have ipads and iphones. i simply want us each to be able to take photos and have them automatically saved to one storage solution.

The only way you can see the contents of an iCloud backup is to restore it to an iOS device. You could restore it to your new phone -- but that would mean you would first have to erase your new phone so I wouldn't recommend it unless you have nothing of value on the new phone. In theory you could backup the new phone, erase it, restore from the old and see what is there and copy the photos to a computer and then erase it again and restore it back from the new phone backup. You can check the status of your drive's indexing by clicking the Spotlight menu to see if there is a progress bar at the bottom of it, and can also open Activity Monitor and click the "%CPU" column to sort by CPU usage, to see if the processes "mds" or "mdworker" are currently active and using your CPU.
If so, then wait for them to finish. However, if not then try rebooting and then hold the Shift key immediately after you hear the boot chimes. This will load the system into Safe Mode, which should run some checks and maintenance routines on the system. Then reboot normally to see if the problem persists.
How much RAM do you have installed on your system? You can see this by choosing About This Mac from the Apple menu.

Open your iPhoto Library, go to that particular album and verify that you can view the full sized version of each image by double clicking on them. Report back with the results.

In the Lightroom menu, go to file/open catalog. Locate your Lightroom 4 catalog and choose it. Lightroom will create a new copy of that catalog in the format for Lightroom 5.

Since the 3.3 update all photo's sync not just top of stack

Since updating to 3.3, all version of photos in my Aperture library now sync to my iPhone, not just the top of the stack (or picks photo.) Has anyone else had this issue and/or figured out a way to resolve? Or is this a bug introduced in the update???

Yep, this is a *horrible* bug. At least we hope it's a bug and not the worst feature ever. It's definitely something occuring in 3.3 and not in 3.2.4 or earlier. It's also inconsistent with how Aperture handles Picks/Stacks in other aspects.
There may be a fix for some people. iTunes will only sync Previews. So you could delete the Previews of all the non-Picks. Of course this could be unreasonably time consuming.
But... There's also a Preview bug in Aperture 3.3!
There are inconsistencies in when Aperture will generate Previews in 3.3. It should not generate Previews for images less than the preset Preview resoluton set in Preferences. However, this isn't always the case. In fact, it may generate Previews, or not, depending on the portrait/landscape orientation of the image. The bottom line is that if the Preview isn't generated due to this bug, then it references the Original as the Preview. This means that for a given image that is affected by the bug, you can't delete the non-existent Preview...
Which means even the "Delete Previews You Don't Want Sycn'd" work-around also won't work since you can't delete Previews that haven't been generated.
This is a total nightmare because you may find yourself syncing lots of multiple versions of the same image to the preciously small storage of an iOS device, but also browsing on the device (especially Apple TV) is annoying because of the duplicates. Additionally, you may be sync'ing extremely large sized Originals (and duplicates thereof) instead of Previews.

Photos not syncing between Mac and iPhone since update to Photos on Mac.

Ever since I updated to Photos on my Late 2013 macbook pro retina, photos are not syncing between it and my iPhone 6. Both are updated to the most recent software update. Photo stream is on. Does anyone have this problem or know a solution?

You will have to go the the Photos tab in iTunes when you connect the iPhone. Then reset the photo sync options. They were reset with the upgrade to use iCloud by default, but you can change the settings back to sync folders, just like before.

I had all my photos neatly in events on the MAC; with this new upgrade, all photos are renamed by location not what I want; how do I change this back?

Now, with this upgrade, all my photos are without my event names and named by iphoto by date and location (sometimes incorrect). I do not like this at all. I want to return to my events. How can I do this??

Moments in Photos are the new Events, i.e. groupings of photos sorted by date taken.
When the iPhoto Library was first migrated to Photos there was a folder created in the sidebar titled iPhoto Events and all migrated iPhoto Events (which are now Moments) are represented by an album in that folder. To open the sidebar if it's not already open use the Option+Command+S key combination.
There's a way to simulate events in Photos.
When new photos are imported into the Photos library go to the Last Import smart album, select all the photos and use the File ➙ New Album menu option or use the key combination Command+N. Name it as desired. It will appear just above the iPhoto Events folder where you can drag it into the iPhoto Events folder
When you click on the iPhoto Events folder you'll get a simulated iPhoto Events window.
The downside to the simulation is that the Albums/Events can only be sorted automatically by Title. But they can also be sorted manually, either in the sidebar or in the folder's window at the right.

I am trying to store I-Photo files onto a USB-stick, keeping the file (with an average of 50 photos) in tact. Is this possible and if so: how, please? I have tried clicking on 'export' and then click on the name of the USB-stick. But by doing this all photos seem to be stored separately, under their image number - and not under the file name. Which makes it near impossible to easily refind the photos on the USB-stick.

If I understand correct your post you are confused with difference of loading procedure between real smartcard and SDK simulation. It is a fact that simulation uses its own loader application and smartcards usually use GlobalPlatform card manager application. To load CAP file to the GP compliant card it is necessary to use sequence of commands such as INSTALL(load),LOAD,INSTALL(install+make_selectable). I do not know any specific java API to perform this loading with any reader. But there are few software programs from various card producers. This software is usually distributes toghether with smartcards.

I installed Firefox 10 because what I was using would not respond. Everything worked fine, except when I compose mail in Yahoo, all words are underlined red. This does not happen w/ Safari. Yahoo was not able to solve this.

No further details beyond my question above, but when I composed this message, all words were undertlined red! Numbers like 100 or times like 10:30 are not underlined!

Any idea o how to liberate this frozen memory ????

Reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
