Sorry Glen, but there is not. And you don't have to upgrade to 10.6 (Snow Leopard). You need at a minimum of 10.5.8 (Leopard).

I installed a new vision of Itunes that was sent to me but now can not run ITunes

I tunes was working great up to today when I installed the new vision sent to me now I can not open Itunes I get this message Itunes was not installed correcly. Please reinstall Itunes Error 7 windows error 126. I try to reinstall Itunes but it does not help not sure what to do next.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Can not run iTunes after 11.1.1.11 upgrade

Hi everybody,
I have iTunes installed and upgraded today to the 11.1.1.11 version. Unfortunately since then, iTunes refuses to run.
I tried removing everything linked to Itunes and do a clean install but nothing worked.
My computer is running XP PRO SP3.
Using visual studio debugger, I have:
Unhandled exception at 0x00000046 in iTunes.exe : 0xC0000005: Access violation.
What should I do?

Solved the problem by downgrading to 10.5.

My itouch will not back up in itunes so I can not run updates

When I connect my iotouch and try to run a back up before updating it runs forever and will not backup. I can transfer purchases and was able to sync apps but I can not run update because I can not back up.

Hopefully you aren't doing this with a PC running Windows 2000 since 2000 is not supported.
Try deleting the existing backup and manually creating a new backup.
Go to iTunes > Preferences and under the Devices tab, select and delete the existing backup.
Then right-click on your iPod Touch under Devices in the iTunes source list and at the menu window that appears, select Back Up to create a new backup.

I can't run itunes or install updates now due to teh MSVCR80.dll file not found and APS Daemon.exe being nable to locate a component ofn Windows vists. A MS user suggested uninstalling all Apple programs. I did this but could not uninstall the Apple Mob

Follow these instructions to completely remove Apple software

If you have 64bit Vista or Windows 7, look for the seperate download of iTunes for that further down the page.
Once installed, use the Apple Software Update under your Start Menu to fully update all Apple components.
Your content will remain on the drive in the Music > iTunes Folder, nothing is deleted.
You should be making backups of your content regularly, either through iTunes or via copying the iTunesFolder in your Music folder to a external drive.
Windows is notorious for having "other" issues that make it unstable, we as volunteers helping others can't always resolve those issues.

Im having a problem when in App Store and trying to download a game i keep getting error message saying "Can Not Connect to iTunes Store" since last night. Spent hours on the phone this afternoon with Tech Support since only 3 days old my iPad3, only to have him have me doing a restore after backing everything up...once off the phone i noticed the Restore wouldnt even work on my PC, saying an unknown error has occured. I am dreading having to call back and spend the next few hours on the phone with them on a brand new product. If still having problems going back to Apple Store in the local mall where hubby bought it for my bday present 5 days ago and will be demanding a brand new one... why should i have to restore a brand new product that was barely used during the past 3 days to factory settings..to me it is a product defect and want a new one since its brand new!! just thought id let you know what Apple Tech Support was having me do with basically same message. Just updated my OS to OSX10.9.3 and my Safari browser to 7.0.4 and now I can't run iTunes! Keep getting notice that it needs 64 bit to run and to uncheck the 32 bit box. Problem is, the 32 bit box is not checked. Never had problem with older system. What can I do to be able to play iTunes?

I suggest you install iTunes 11.2.2, the latest version. If you have just installed Mavericks, then open App Store and login with your Apple ID. Click on the Upgrades icon in the toolbar. The new iTunes should show up. Click on the Update button.

When you run the uninstaller, it will uninstall all Flash Player versions.
If you want to revert to an older version after that, get it from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

I got a message that said something like "iTunes can not run because some required files are missing. reinstall itunes." I tried to reinstall iTunes but I kept getting that message. So, i uninstalled it, and tried to install it again. this did not work. I think that Quicktime is actually what is broken, because iTunes installs fine, but the Quicktime installation failed. When the installation failed, i got a message that said, "Installation failed: error code: -3"
I then tried installing Quicktime with the standalone installer. The installation got further, but it then failed as well, giving the error code -1603.
What can I do to get this reinstalled, and if you can't answer that, how can I contact Apple from Iraq? Thank you.

hmmm...that happened to me at one point to, and I'm trying to think back, I believe I was able to uninstall it by using the standalone installer.....
Try these steps and see if anything helps, and then in the troubleshooting section, look up the specific error number you are receiving...
