Since Update iPhone Constantly Crashes

Hello, I updated my iPhone yesterday (purchased it in April '09) and since then my iPhone has crashed three times; two of which I had to restore and this last time - I am just going to leave it alone and pray it passes, but thus far it has not.
Is anyone else experience this? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can be doing to prevent this?
It is an 8 GB
I do have WiFi
Main apps. that I use are USA Today and Facebook
I have 50 songs and 9 videos
I have no one in my contact list
I have no idea what the problem could be

What is sadder yet - since yesterday I have spent at least 6-8 hours trying to fix everything. I should be getting paid for this!!! Instead, I had to pay for this! This is 8 hours that I won't be getting back on my life...and I need a phone. I think I would sooner settle for a 1996 Nokia again...

Since updating Iphone 4 the screen display is too large

Since updating my Iphone 4 the screen display is too large to fit on the screen. For example the green battery graphic is so large half of it takes up the full screen.
I pressed restore and restored the phone. I then restored my backup files and I still have the same problem.

Error when syncing iPhone with Outlook 2007 since updating iPhone to 1.1.2

Since updating to 1.1.2 I receive this message "OutlookSyncClient has stopped working". I am running Vista Business with Outlook 2007. Prior to updating to 1.1.2 I had no issues. I have tested this running iTunes 7.4.3.1 and 7.5.0.20. My contacts sync with no issues, only my calendar does not work. Has anyone else ran into this issue and have you found a resolution/work around?

Since updating to iOS5, I have problems with calling and receiving calls, incuding sending and receiving text messages. Those who try to call me say my phone rings but I do not hear or see anything, my phone is just on homescreen. Can anyone help?????

After I have updated to IOS5 my 3GS which always worked very well has been a hassle.
All in the phone works exept that I can't make calls - can you believe m frustration of having a phone wich does-it all exept make/receive phone calls :-(((((
After the update was working fine for a few days. Suddenly after many of my friends told me that always when they call me the calls goes to no where - then I've tried to mke a phone call and guess what..."call failed" message - I have tried all:
I have already restored to factory settings - it doesn't worked
I have re-installed the update (IOS5) - it doesn't worked
I have tried a few tricks I read in another forum (turned-off 3G, turned-off location services, turned-off call waiting, turned-off wi-fi, I have reset network settings a hundred times)I have set manually date&time,) I have tried all things which I believe aren't related to the probelm and nothing works
I have change the SIM card to other operators and - IT DOESN'T WORK...!
I have even done the DFU restore... nothing..!!
I can't express my frustration.... I am an apple lover as I have all gadgets but what is the sense if I can't get help in this issue so basic as phone making phone calls...! I have called customer service and they have no idea what is the problem...!!

SInce I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.3 3G has not been working, tried all sorts to rectify, any ideas how I can get it back up and running?

Double tap the screen with THREE fingers, that should get it back to normal again.
Then go into Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > OFF.
Not too sure about the keyboard and random button presses though. Back it up and restore from iTunes, see if that fixes it.

Updated iPhone, caused Crashing and loss of contacts

I recently updated my iPhone which is using iOS 7. I noticed after the update, that when I went to messages, most of my chats were missing. Additionally, some contacts are availible in messages, but are not availible in Contacts. My phone is also crashing almost all the time. Many of the chats had phone numbers which I had not stored in my contacts, and I now have no way of getting them back. I am using an iPhone 4.
Can anybody help me?

Although contacts are included with the iPhone's backup (so is a bunch of other data), contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book application on your computer. Not a good idea to depend on the iPhone's backup, the iPhone, or any cell phone alone for this data, which can be lost or stolen.
If your husband is not syncing contacts with a supported address book application on the computer - with a Mac this can be with the Address Book application, and if the contacts were not restored with the backup, kiss the contacts goodbye.

IMessage and Memory issues since updating iPhone to ios 8.1.3

I stupidly updated my iPhone 5S due to the idea of a wider variety of emojis and now everything has gone wrong. My iMessage keep disappearing and reappearing or not coming through at all on my phone but they're all still coming through perfectly fine on my Macbook. As well as the iMessage issue my iPhone keeps on insisting me memory is full even though I've deleted pretty much everything, nothing loads my screen just crashes then goes back to homepage...my patience is running low and by the looks of Twitter I'm not the only one facing these issue my only wonder now is what, if anything can I do?

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error when viewing videos. You may want to consider restarting the device first, and then resetting if that does not work. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:

How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Since updating iphone 5c wifi has been off, it's gray and I have tried everything. I can not finish the iOS 8 upgrade. Help

I have an iPhone 5c version 7.1.2. When trying to allow the upgrade for the "iOS 8.1.3 , everything appeared to be upgrading except for the wifi. my Wifi stays turned off now and will not come on. In my Setting applications , general it states I need to do the "iOS 8.1.3 upgrade but will not allow me to continue because I do not have Wifi. I have googled this issue and tried some of the options on there, I do apologize. I can not remember specific right now what the few were. I have MS and some cognitive issues. This is very frustrating at this point , I am also having the same issue with my iPad 2. Any help is appreciated

Shortcuts no longer work since updating iphone

Updated to the latest software, now I'm unable to use my shortcuts anywhere. Any ideas or solutions?

This is what I did step by step and it worked like a charm... I had an iPhone 4 when I did this a few days ago. I have documents and data ON in iCloud...
1. write down or take screenshots of all existing shortcuts
2. delete all shortcuts
3. backup to iCloud (I think this clears all shortcuts you have stored in iCloud)
4. go back to settings-->general-->keyboard... You may notice one or a few generic shortcuts pop up on their own. The one that popped up for me was OMW (on my way)
5. re enter all of your shortcuts and phrases
6. when done, back up again to iCloud (stores your new shortcuts)
I restarted my phone. Shortcuts still worked. I just got a 4S and restored from the iCloud backup mentioned in step 6 and my shortcuts worked on my new phone.

IPod crashes since update

Since update my iPod crashes and when I open a app it take be back to main screen so I now can't go on any apps and sometimes it dosn't want to unlock has any one else had this problem since update as it was working fine since update

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

IPhone 4 constantly crashes after ios 7.1.1 upgrade

After I upgraded, my iphone constantly crashes. I reinstalled using a back-up and reinstalled to original factory settings; both did not work. Ideas on resolving the problem?

I would try to identify what is using the data. You can go to Settings > Cellular > Use Cellular Data For and that will show a list of apps with the amount of cellular data used by each. At the bottom of the list you can tap on System Services for details of system service usage. The numbers can be reset at any time via Reset Statistics at the bottom of the screen. Watching those numbers for a period of time should identify the cause of the problem and be the first step toward the solution.

Stocks app not displaying news since update

Since updating iphone 5 32GB to ios 8 the stocks app has stopped displaying news for any of the stock symbols. Price graph and stats are still displayed. I found this to be a very useful feature and long to have it back.

Could these 9 updates not be available until you first upgrade to Mavericks?
Since you are running a legacy version of OS X, it is difficult for those of us running current versions to assist you. I am requesting the the ASC Hosts move your topic to the OS X 10.6 forum where folks also running this legacy version frequent and are more likely able to assist in figuring out what you are encountering.
In my experience, the answer to your question is no, Apple has not become a control freak with updates.
BTW, you can't be running 10.6.5 as there is no Mac App Store available for the old version of OS X.

IPhone 4 constantly crashing because I updated to iOS 7!

Ever since I updated to iOS 7. My iphone 4 constantly crashes every time I do anything on it, for example starting apps! (BIG ISSUE) and they close and I have to restart them. Unlocking my iPhone is also slow. I had to remove my pass code due to my iPhone crashing when I was entering my code. Also when I go to take a picture my camera loading is also slow! Why is this? I thought an update was to make things better not worse! I will not be purchasing an apple product again! And I also have an iPad 2. I refuse to update because I know how bad iOS 7 is!! AWFUL update and I have always been with apple as my phone manufacturer! Never again sort it out!
Any help regarding my problem would be much appreciated!

First, create a separate login on your computer for your friend. Do this BEFORE you do anything else. Next, make sure iTunes is up to date. Then:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in iTunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book, iCal) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect her phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on her phone will be in her itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore her itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding her contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.
