I had my desktop firefox synced with my mobile firefox. Since I updated the mobile one from version 13 to 14, syncronization got lost. I try to reactivate it, type the codes, it says it`ll take some minutes, ok... but nothing happends. When I open another session (close firefox and open again), there is the same invitation to sync the browser. The invitation is always there.

When you have Pages ’09 installed and upgrade to Pages v5.n on Mavericks, the installation process moves the old Pages to /Application/iWork '09, and the new Pages v5.n is deposited in /Applications.
I would remove any Pages Dock icons and then drag/drop the older Pages (inkwell) icon onto your Dock, and then the new Pages (yellow thing) onto your Dock. Since double-clicking a document defaults to opening it in Pages v5.n, you may prefer to use the older Pages Dock icon for older documents.
Pages v5.n has File > Export To... > Pages ’09 document format. Although both Pages applications continue to use the .pages file extension, the document formats are incompatible.
Pages v5.n, despite its newer application versioning, is about 100 features, and more bugs, behind the features and functionality in Pages ’09. To minimize confusion, document damage, and lost functionality, we are recommending that users continue using Pages ’09.

Same problem here. No saved files, saving is not possible and or doesn't work. iCloud is useless in this case.
I see it as an EA issue. The way they work is disabling certain feature to push users towards new versions of the game.
Money is everything, they don't care about their users and this problem will never be fixed, such a shame!

I had this problem as well and I heard a solution, tried it and it worked for me. The issue is that there are apps running in the background when the sync was initiated. So I unplugged the iPhone from iTunes and closed down any running apps (double-click the home menu button and sweep up each running app until you just see your home page). Then reconnect the iPhone to iTunes and the sync completed as expected.

IPad 2 will not update from version 4.3.5 (8L1).

I got an iPad 2 from work and it will not update from version 4.3.5. There isn't even a software update option in settings. I have reset and erased it a few times, and still no update option. I have plugged it into my computer to try to update it that way and every time iTunes prompts me to download and update the latest version, it loads for a few seconds and then I get an iTunes message that says "The IPad software update server could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your newtwork connection is active, or try again later." the network connection IS active, I can use safari, and I have "tried again later" and still no update. PLEASE HELP!

Hello, I am writing as I am experiencing some issues with my favorite web browser after updating to Windows 8.1. Here are some details. I updated from Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1 and ever since Firefox has run somewhat strangely. In particular when on sites with a lot of images like Facebook. It is like there is some kind of Flikr effect between the desktop and the images and between the images and the browser (almost like old 16 bit video games flikering). It is not too bad but it is an issue. I have tried resetting firefox and restarting the computer. I haven't tried a repair, and I haven't done an uninstall yet.

I have exactly the same problem. I have tried almost everything and I am nowhere near an Apple shop as I am working in Africa.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

What do you mean unlocked one? You are talking about software updates here and software updates are free and for a 3gs you can only update to 6.1.3 as you have already been told.
If you are talking about phones themselves, then this is totally different and you need to be more specific or get your question right.

You must purchase 10.5.8 from an Apple store, either in person or online. You can also update to 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) if you have an Intel Mac. The current version is Lion, (10.7), but you must have Snow Leopard installed to upgrade to Lion. You also need an Intel Mac.

the universal worklist shows only the area of alerts and no Task and Tracking area. Can someone tell me how to activate it? I think that I have already seen it before I updated from version 9 to 15.
