Since updating my iPhone 3GS on my friends laptop, it keeps asking for her iTunes Id not mine. When I log onto a computer it comes up with my Id but from my phone it's my friends. I don't have an option to change the user Id when it pops up either.

Thank you for the question. This behavior is normal if updated on another Apple ID account holders computer. To change the Apple ID on your device, follow the steps in the article below.

Since updating my iphone 3gs to the ios 5.1.1 updating. My phone has been not reckonising wifi as existing and when it does find my wifi eg at home. It will then connect or disconnect randomly.
Will we have to await a new update? or has there been any fixes identified for this issue?iMessage is activated and the settings are exactly the same as yet were before I updated (when iMessage worked) and I have full Internet signal, both wifi & 3G but it doesn't work though either. The screen you're seeing on your iPhone indicates it is in recovery mode. Now since the device is not appearing in iTunes on your PC, first follow the steps in this article:

Are you getting Airport confused with Airplay?
Secondly, I don't think a Mac can be used as an Airplay receiver. You'll need an Apple TV for that. There are third-party software packages that can turn your computer in to an Airplay receiver, but I'm not sure what the rules are about mentioning them here on Apple's forums.

I applied a VM Windows XP pro. When I logged in as a local admin, I can view the calendar from the right corner of desktop or from control
panel. However, when I logged in as a normal user account, I received the same message as yours.

I have photoshop 7 on my pc but have lost my original disk.... I went to update it and the update is not seeing the file on my pc... and it keeps asking for my disk.. but i can't find it...
How can i update it...Ah, you had Photoshop 7.0 working, and now it's not. I see that as a separate issue to updating it. I'm not sure why it would ask you to update it.
Do you know whether you have 7.0 or 7.0.1 at this point? You might be able to do a Properties function on Photoshp.exe and see that info.
You could make an attempt to reset Photoshop's preferences to defaults. Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt simultaneously immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.
Only other thing that comes to mind is to use Windows System Restore to restore back to a restore point where Photoshop was working, or restore from a backup (you do make backups I hope).
If that fails, and you need to do a fresh install but no longer have the original disk and serial number I'm afraid you may be out of luck. There's no place I know of from which to download a fresh full copy of Photoshop 7.0.

So, I thought it was great that apple came out with a new update to fix the bugs of iOS7, however it seems that it created more problematic bugs...
My iTunes is updated to the latest version, as is my iPhone. No matter how many times I plug it in to the computer it absolutely will not sync new music onto my phone. It says it is syncing, but in reality nothing on my phone has changed. No new music, nothing.
I have turned my computer on/off as well as my phone.
Also, no matter what it will not pick a song when I am 'trying' to listen to music on my phone. It just swipes through them all super fast and never stops! Why?!
Today, I updated my iPhone to iOS 7.0.4 and it didn't fix the issues.
Is there a way to fix this, or do I just have to wait until Apple comes out with a new update to fix it??I have a very similar problem in Arizona, USA. Virgin Mobile is my carrier. Early in October, the phone seems to have lost it's 3G ability and is exceedingly hesitant to connect to any WiFi networks other than my home WiFi. I've spent countless hours on the phone with my service provider and they have escalated my problem to a higher tier tech group that is looking at the problem now. I've also called AppleCare to ask if I could revert to iOS 6 and was informed that Apple products, once and update has been added, are unable to revert or move backwards. AppleCare said they would like to just exchange my phone for a new one but I am 50 days outside the 1 year limited manufacturer warranty period. Virgin, of course, will not replace the phone for me despite this being a network problem. The responsibility of which should fall on their shoulders. My side of the contract is to pay and pay on time which I have always done. Their side is to provide the services promised at time of purchase and they have dropped the ball. Hope someone out there has an awesome suggestion that doesn't involve going into iTunes and tweaking it or jailbreaking the phone. Until then....namaste.

I am just wondering about my brand new Iphone display. Normally, when you firstly take it out from tha box, you would remove these plastic films used to protect the front/back of th iphone.
This is very common.
My question is that I have notice that the screen seems to be protected by an extra film. Jut like the one you apply aftermarket to protect the screen. The only difference is that this si very well set. YOu can fell it if you try to remove with your nails but it does not come out.
Now, am I the only one noticed this? If Apple put a film to protect the screen, I should not remove it, should not I?

My wife and I are BOTH having the exact same issues! Some of the text messages that come through are just showing the 1. area code, and 2. the last 4 digits of the phone number.
I thought it was weird when she showed it to me on her phone. Now mine has started doing it too.
