Since updating to Firefox 35 it's the only browser that shows error "Unable to connect" and nothing works from the support answers to solve it
so far i tried:
1. to set the windows firewall settings
2. I've reinstalled firefox

Yes you can. In iPhoto create a Album with the photos you want in it. You can drag them from your Events folder. In iTunes with your iPad connected go to Photos by cliking on your iPad. You can then select the album or events you want. -
Firefox the only browser that works?
I'm having a really strange problem...
Since maybe a couple weeks ago Firefox is the only browser that works for me. Other browsers can't seem to connect to ANY website. I've tried Safari and Opera... they don't work.
I have:
tried several different wifi signals
reinstalled Safari, Opera, and Firefox
reinstalled OS X (archive and install)
repaired disk permissions
No matter what I do, Firefox is the only thing that worksThat's not a particularly good thing. Browsers should NEVER ignore system wide proxy settings. They need to change that.
Firefox has 3 Proxy modes:
a) No proxy
b) Auto-detect proxy settings for this network
c) Manual proxy configuration
The default is "No proxy"
If you select "Auto-detect proxy settings for this network", Firefox will use the Network proxy setting. -
Firefox is it the only browser that you need to have your task manager open with in order to surf?
Nothing much to see on that site, but I don't have a problem opening the page. See screenshot.
Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit. -
The only thing that shows up is my tabs. i tried pressing f11 and f10 but the minimizer has nothing to do with it. I want my file button to show back up.

When I'm presenting using an external projector, the only thing that shows up on the view screen is my desktop screen. It will also display a powerpoint file, but only in slide show mode. No other files (word, excel, etc) or safari will display. How can I get what I see on my computer screen to show up on the external screen?

You can either set it to "mirror" or arrange the monitors side by side. Then when you want to show the working window on your projector slide it in the direction you set as the second monitor. Many teachers will do this to show a video or powerpoint to their class while working on another document or answering emails. -
I am trying to play a DVD on my MacBook Pro and transmit it to my TV (using my TV as the monitor) utilizing a VGA cable and adapter for the Mac but the only image that shows up on the TV is the MacBook wall paper, any ideas on how I can transmit the movie from my MacBook to the TV? I also tried an HDMI cable and had the same issue.
you are probably seeing the extended display.. to see ur main display go to pefrences then display steeings and turn mirroring on.

Hello. I'm having a problem signing onto my iPad mini. When I went to sign on yesterday the number pad to sign on moved upward and now it is out of site. Now I can't sign on the only thing that shows is the Apple logo.
Have you tried to give your iPad a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if it helps.

When I mirror my macbook pro to my apple tv the only thing that shows up is one video that's on my desktop. How can I watch something that's online on my laptop, on my apple tv?
Are you using mirroring or using airplay within iTunes? If you are truly mirroring then you can view anything that is displayed on your computer through Apple Tv

At the top there's a toggle between "All" and "Missed". Click "All"

At the present time, the only way to keep photos in iCloud indefinitely is to add them to a shared stream, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99. However, photos added to a shared stream will be a lower resolution than the original photos. These shared streams can be shared with your friends.
If you add the photos to your normal photo stream, they will be deleted from iCloud (and all other devices/computers) when you delete them from your phone. And although your backup includes camera roll photos, if you delete them from your phone and continue backing it up, the backup containing the deleted photos will be overwritten by one that doesn't and they will be lost.
This is likely to change in the fall with iOS 8 and its iCloud Photo Library feature (see http://www.apple.com/ios/ios8/photos/). -
I changed my ID Apple with another email, i received the confirmation, i changed my password and also received the confirmation but when i try to download something on my iPhone it still shows me my old email and nothing works ! ahhhhh what and how do i solve this ?
On your iPhone go to Settings > Store.

I have downloaded ADE 3 on my macbook. It did recognize my Aluratek Libre the first time I used it but now it does not. I plug my libre in start ADE and the Libre does not show up for me to transfer my ebooks from the library to my libre. Help pls
If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - when connected (and if your computer's iTunes is up-to-date) your iPad should then appear on that sidebar under a 'Devices' heading :
If you select the iPad on that sidebar you can then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync that film to your iPad's Videos app.
