Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
If this doesn't work backup and restore your iPad using iTunes. Something must have been corrupted in your update process.

Is this on wifi or cellular data?
Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Have you gone into the email settings and making sure the password are still there?

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that aren't send or otherwise blocked.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

i have tried clearing history and cookie and data, re-booting my phone, resetting my network setting and still nothing? as i go to the wifi tab it wont even let me turn my wifi on, so i can not try changing it to auto
also i have no signal as i am on 3 so i can not currently use my phone till the wifi is working again and this is driving me mad!
can anyone help?

To be a little bit more accurate the said book sits in my Documents on my Macbook, purchased through iTune for free in iTunes Store>Books. I can find it with Finder on my Macbook. I Was given a iPad mini at school to use for test taking on SofTest. Since updating to ios8, my guided access no longer turns on when I triple click. But it worked fine before the update. I am not the only student having this issue. I tried resetting, without deleting all content. I rebooted several times, turned access on and off while rebooting, and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas or is this an ios8 flaw?

Are you still having this issue? SofTest's Guided Access seems to be working alright on my iPad, although I think there was a small stretch where it wouldn't work.

Since updating to iOS 6 my 3GS will not work

I recently updated to iOS 6 on my iphone 3GS, For a few days it has been fine, but today it started stating that I have 'No Service', which is strange. It then turned off when it got to 50% battery, and saying I needed to charge it.
When I returned home, I plugged it in to charge, it said I needed to 'set up' iOS 6, which I had done when I updated it, but I went along with it, it said to plug into itunes, which I did, told me to update, which I did.
When it finished updating it said it had found an unexpected error and I needed to restore my phone, once again, I went along with it, began restoring it, when it had finished restoring, A pop-up in itunes stated that the restore had failed and I needed to do it again. I have now 'restored' it 4 times to no avail.
It is very unconvinient to not be able to use my phone as this time, please help. Thankyou in advance.
