Since updating to ios7 --I turn off my iPad and go back to it later and it is on again. Has this happened to anyone else.
Several times I have turned off my iPad and when I go back to it later,it is on again to home page.since I keep it in a case this causes it to get hot which can't be good.this has only happened since recent upgrade.

That depends on how you have set up your Auto-Lock and Passcode Lock.
I have set Auto-Lock to 2 Minutes and Passcode Lock to Immediately.
If you want to try the same thing, then do this:
Settings > General > Auto-Lock > 2 Minutes
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > (enter your passcode) > Require Passcode > Immediately
If you don't like those time delays, choose the ones that you prefer.
This will of course not stop any notifications to turn on the iPad's screen, if your iPad is in sleep mode.
To modify those notifications to your requirements: Settings > Notification Center

And, I tried resetting it, and it STILL won't turn on. I have tried resetting it twice, no luck so far, though.

Actually I cannot access my home wifi from my laptop or cell anymore either.
I reset the modem and router about 10 times and called my ISP who said there's no problem on their end.
I've tried everything I can think of. Any advice?Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
If that doesn't work, then update iTunes on computer, backup device to iTunes, then restore the device.

Since the latest software update, 6.1.2 my iphone4S is using battery much more rapidly. Is this happening to anyone else?

Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds and see if you can get it to reboot.

Try force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

Since I upgraded to IOS7 when I synch my photos on my iphone and ipad they all come across in one album and not the separate albums I have them in on my laptop. Has this happened to anybody else??

After successfully updating my 60GB 5thGen iPod to the 1.2 version software it initially seemed to work fine but then after a while the whole display shrank to a small portion of the display at the upper left hand corner...

Mac OS X (10.4.7)thanks for your reply, but I've already tried restoring it several times. it always ends up shrunk.
I also tried downgrading my iPod to 1.1.2 in order to retry to update it all over from the beginning. (no luck)
Then I thought the updater was corrupted so I deleted it from ~/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates/ and let iTunes download it once again. (no luck)
Then I finally tried using a PC running Windows XP (oh my god, what have I done?) and again the same old story. (the images on the display shrunk again)
I suppose this is a hardware issue -

ThanksHold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Ignore the red slider. When the logo appears let go of the buttons.

If the problem persists you have a hardware problem.
All of this assumes your phone is not hacked or jailbroken. If it is all bets are off. -
My Itunes software, when activated, shows an image on the screen of the normal itunes image except that about 3" of the image is cut off on the right side of the screen and about 1" of the bottom. All functions shown work. Any function in the part of the screen that is not shown, is not available, making the softwave almost nonfunctionable. When I upgrade, this is usually resolved, until it starts happening again. Since I currently have the latest version of Itunes, I cannot try this solution, which is only temperary anyway. Can anyone help me?
