Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Import your camera roll photos to your computer using your usb cable, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. As explained in the article, you will be given an option to delete them from your iPad after importing them.
After updating your phone, you can put the photos in a folder on your computer, then sync them back to your iPad by selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing. I heard about all the problems with the new iOs 7 update but also heard Apple would force me to do it. I tried to update but didn't have enough space. Had to delete ALOT of my apps and still not enough space. Phone was working perfectly fine and message pops up that "I will not have any service until I restore to iTunes. Restore it to factory settings, then set it up from your back up. Did this last year when I got my new iPod, and it worked. I have no idea why syncing OTA can sometimes glitch, but hopefully this will help.

It sounds like your email account was/is probably set up as a POP account, meaning changes you made in the email program on the iPad would not be synced with the server. If you had also chosen to keep copies of downloaded messages on the server, it makes this sort of thing happen.
If you switch to an IMAP account setup, your deleted files will stay gone next time you delete them. It won't solve your immediate problem, but it will make them stay gone next time. You could also look at going into your webmail if you have one and deleting the messages there before they donwload to the device.
IMAP is also better if you receive your emails to more than one device (ie, your home computer and your iPad), since it maintains the same folder structure, and emails marked as read on one will be read on the others.

Since updating to iOS 8, FaceTime has been buggy.

I have updated to the new iOS 8 software. I am also a frequent user of the FaceTime app. I use it to talk with my girlfriend in our long-distance relationship. The video quality was reasonable on iOS 7 and the audio was fine, until now. Now, the audio quality will glitch up and sound muffled, this happens frequently. The video also glitches too. I have tried turning it off, hard resetting it, and even backed it up and restored it and it continues to be buggy. Is anyone else having this problem at all? It was perfectly fine in the last update and now it's terrible. Any answers will help, hopefully it can be resolved in a bug fix update?

My issue is that my calendar icon is blank, when I press the Safari icon nothing happens. I don't have a settings icon, I have to spot search and it appears. no health icon, etc. I know I have an internet connections because when I click my CNN app, it opens. Luckily, I chose Blackberry for my business phone, otherwise I would probably be fired.

Yes I understand this. I have done this, even deleted songs which I did not want on there. My concern is songs have showed up which I did not purchase. - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.) Relaunch the App and try again.

- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Delete the App, then reinstall it.
Test the issue after each step. Make sure to quit the app as described before each followup step.

test if it charges with an ac charger
test if it's detected by another computer
if it's no to both then likely the connector is broken
if it's yes to both thne it's likely your computers itunes install which is the problem

i have same problem in UK - my phone no longer works with my car cable - it will charge the phone, my ipad works fine, as does my old itouch so I know that the cable is ok. It comes up with no connection even though it is charging it. It used to be fine I dont understand why this would happen?

Originally i noticed that it was less responsive but now it does absolutely nothing.
I have cleaned the button and also tried calibrating (opening an apple app, holding the power button and then the home button)
Nothing has helped and I am forced to use assisted touch.
Any help would be appreciated.

No. TM has to look through your entire drive contents and copy them all. This will take some time.
Once the first backup is made, then subsequent backup will be much quicker, depending on how much data has changed since the last one.

IMessage/text photos constant loading/flickering while trying to view them since updating to IOS7

Since updating to IOS7 any sent or received photos constantly try and update making it nearly impossible to see the photo.
Has anyone else had this issue or is this just a bug that hasn't been fixed yet?

Since updating to ios7 my iPhone 4 has sent 2 obscene messages by itself has this happened to anyone else? Is it a virus or hack of some kind? Help!!!!
Both have been via I message one was tame just saying willy the other was much worse: I want you to touch my body while next to me.
Anyone having the same problem or can anyone help me fix it

Most likely this was not caused by your phone. If it did come from your phone, the only likely explanation is that someone else got their hands on your phone and sent those messages from it. (Drag from right to left while those messages are displayed... this will show the times they were sent. Who had your phone at that time?)
The other possibility is that someone has hacked your iCloud account and sent those messages from another device as you. This would cause those sent messages to sync to your phone, and appear there as well, even though your phone was not actually the sender. In this case, you need to change your iCloud password ASAP.
Note that if you have Find My iPhone turned on, I have heard that there is an issue with that in iOS 7 that can potentially lock you out of your phone when changing an Apple ID password. Assuming your iCloud account is also your Apple ID, you should be cautious and turn off Find My iPhone before changing the password.
